Draco hadn't the time to process Hermione's current situation before he felt a rough hand grab his arm and pull him in the direction of the two boys.
Before Lucius could speak, the doors leading to the room swung open once again. This time revealing a much more concerning figure, one whose presence severely frightened the weak and vulnerable trio. Their situation had intensified greatly.
"What is the meaning of all this?" Barked Bellatrix Lestrange as she made her proud yet terrifying entrance into the room.
"We've caught 'arry Potter," said Scabior proudly.
Bellatrix of course did not believe the man, she had to see for herself. She strutted over to the two boys tied together, revealing herself to the trio. Even Draco's face has dropped when he had seen Bellatrix, he knew his aunt would stop at nothing to please the Dark Lord and Draco wasn't prepared to watch that happen.
She roughly grabbed Harry by his hair revealing his now deformed scar.
"What's wrong with his face?" Asked Draco, almost with a sense of fear in his voice.
"We found him like that, must've been something in the forest he'd found I reckon." Spoke Greyback, who stood towering over Hermione.
Bellatrix looked over at Greyback as he spoke, she had that look on her face. A look that merely appeared unimpressed but deep down she began to think, not believing Greybacks story.
Her eyes travelled across the room. First to Ron, but before she could speak...
"He's a Weasley," spoke a cowering voice out of the shadows in the corner of the room, "I've seen him before with Potter in Diagon Alley." It was Narcissa. She spoke hesitantly but knew her sister would figure it out sooner or later.
Bellatrixs eyes lit up as a cruel smile drew across her withered face.
Ron just stared back at the evil witch as she glared into his eyes, he secretly hoped she didn't notice Hermione's weak body slumped against the floor across the room from them.
Bellatrix had almost noticed this feeling in Ron's eyes. He struggled hard against his emotions and it became easily noticeable to the experienced witch, making her smile grow even more.
She remained eye contact with Ron before turning her body to face the young witch. Hermione was panicked with fear. She knew what Bellatrix was capable of, not to mention her hatred towards those who were not pure bloods, especially muggles borns like herself. Her breathing intensified with every step that Bellatrix took.
"And what to we have here," said Bellatrix, almost patronisingly towards a hopeless Hermione.
Hermione's face was still covered in blood, as she grasped her stomach slightly to try and sooth the pain.
One of the snatchers pulled the newspaper out of Hermione's bag and opened his mouth as he was about to read aloud. Before he could do so, Bellatrix grabbed the newspaper out of his hands.
"Hermione Granger," said Lucius from the background.
Bellatrixs eyes lifted from the paper back onto Hermione.
"Granger," she said gleefully, she looked back down onto the paper, "...mudblood currently travelling with Harry Potter."
Her smile had reached the corners of her face, her master would be so pleased at who she had found.
Bellatrix began approaching Hermione as she studied the young witch curled on the floor, watching in horror as her worst nightmare practically danced her way over. Bellatrix threw the paper onto the floor as she crouched down to Hermione's level.
Harry and Ron watched her grab Hermione's face and examine the cuts she had received. They flinched at the sight of their best friend venerable at the hands of one of the most powerful witches in the world.
"What happened to her," asked Bellatrix, regarding Hermione's bloody face. She remained eye contact with the frightened witch. Greyback didn't reply, he looked over at Scabior who shot an angry expression back at him, almost telling him to confess to Bellatrix.
"Well???..." she asked again, more annoyed this time. She had now turned to face Greyback as she searched for an answer.
"I had to stop her from escaping somehow...she's stronger than you'd think Bella..." said Greyback almost shakily, "and besides, she had used wandless magic in her attempt to break free!"
"Wandless magic!" Screamed Bellatrix almost mockingly and with a cry of laughter "from a mudblood, that's absurd."
She continued to laugh. "We'll see just how strong you are," said Bellatrix threateningly. She had positioned herself only a few inches from Hermione's face as she muttered those very words. Bellatrix felt Hermione shake in fear as she threatened the witches life, she loved it.
Bellatrix rose from the floor and began advancing back over to Draco and the two boys tied up, who's glares threw daggers at Bellatrix after her interaction with Hermione. This only fuelled Bellatrixs reign of terror.
Her attention was redirected however, after an almost glistening sound echoed from across the room. A sound familiar to most in the room.
One of the unnamed snatchers was pulling Hermione's possessions out of her bag. One of these possessions being the sword of Godric Gryffindor.
The trios faces instantly dropped, not only have they lost the only tool to destroy a horcrux but having seen the look Bellatrix gave they knew she meant trouble.
The trio was right of course, Bellatrix was beside herself, more deranged than normal...if that was possible.
It all became a blur. Bellatrix threw violent spells at the snatchers who tried to fight back, but they were no match for the fury of Bellatrix Lestrange. She had grabbed the sword and thrown it over to her sister, who watched on in horror. She knew her sister was insane but this intense concentrated attack only cemented her fear even further.
Bellatrix threw curses continuously until the snatchers were practically thrown out of the manor, they wound up on the steps of the entrance severely injured and overwhelmed. Scabior and the two other snatchers got back onto their feet as fast as they could as headed for the gates of the manor never to return again.
Bellatrixs eyes were fuelled with flames. She glanced over to Greyback, who was lucky to still be standing there.
"WHOSE BAG IS THAT!" She screamed, still struggling for breath after her violent attack.
"The mudbloods." Replied Greyback instantaneously, not wanting to be on the receiving end of Bellatrixs fury.
A wicked smile grew across her lips as she began to chuckle at the irony that it was Hermione's bag.
"No," said Ron quietly, not quiet enough for Belltrix to miss though.
"Take the boys to the cellar, now!" Barked Bellatrix at Greyback. He complied and instantly headed towards them.
"NO!" Said Ron much louder this time, he could see the panicked look on Hermione's face as he felt Greybacks arm grab at him.
"TAKE ME NOT HER," shouted Ron. Of course Bellatrix did not listen to him at all, she just watched him and Harry as they were untied and slowly dragged down towards the cellar. This was almost mockingly towards Ron, who could do nothing to save Hermione, as much as he tried.
"YOU LEAVE HER ALONE YOU EVIL WITCH," he screamed for the last time before Greyback covered his mouth. These were the last words from Ron that Hermione heard, he really did love her.
Hermione heard the door to the cellar open and very quickly slam shut, she could just about make out the faint cry's of her name coming from both of the boys and the small rattles of the cellar door as they tried frantically to escape. Her thoughts were quickly evaporated as she saw the very thing that terrified her most.
Bellatrix Lestrange, fuelled by anger and rage, stormed over to the young witch. She needed answers and would stop at nothing to get them.
