15: Hospital
I wake up in a…hospital? I look around, and I hear someone speak. "Hey sleepyhead! Nice of you to join me!" I look to my right, and I see Toga sitting upright on her hospital bed. I groan. "How long was I out for?" "About five hours." She responds. Five hours?! I look around the room, and see Uraraka sitting on a bench crying. Asui is behind her, her face expressionless as per usual. Across the room, I see Alternate Toga sitting quietly, with Jirou and Momo next to her. Jirou looks angry, shooting dirty looks at Toga, while Momo is crying as well. Five people in all, that's probably the visitor limit, otherwise the whole class would be in here. "What's going on?" I ask. "We were talking about what happened during the time you were gone." Jirou responds, shooting Toga another dirty look. "Why are they cry-?" She silences me. "Just….shut up." I shut up. "I wonder how she died." Toga says slyly. "Did she bleed out? Or did she get stabbed to death? I wonder if she got ra-'' Jirou shoots her Ear-jacks at toga, I shoot blackwhip to catch them, forcing Asui to jump onto the wall, or it would have hit her where she was standing. Momo cries even harder. Jirou helps Momo up, and they leave the room. Uraraka also stands up and leaves. "W-what's going on?" I ask Tsu, feeling out of the loop. "Toga is making fun of Midnight's death, to make Momo cry, ribbit." She turns to Toga. "It's not a good idea though, as Momo can get pretty violent, ribbit." "Why?" I ask. "She feels responsible for Midnight's death. After the war, she hasn't…been well in the head." "War? What war?" Asui sighs. "I'll tell you later, ribbit, when you can be around the whole class, and get all the details." "I've seen Momo and Jirou together a nods. "Yup, they are dating." "But…I thought Momo had feelings for Todoroki." She nods again. "She did, ribbit, but ever since he's been in a coma…she…hasn't grown feelings for Jirou, but…I think just needs emotional support. Tsu moves over and sits down next to Alternate Toga. "Oh Yeahhhhh! Wanna know who else died? B-" Tsu shoots her tongue across the room toward Toga's mouth. I didn't stop it this time, because Tsu wasn't doing it to hurt Toga, unlike Jirou. Toga gags a bit, but then bites down hard on Asui's tongue. Tsu is obviously in pain from that, but a few seconds later, Toga starts gagging as a white/clear liquid shoots out of her mouth. She lets go of Tsu's tongue, while a mix of blood and the other fluid drips down her mouth. She spits as much out as she can onto a paper towel. "What was that for?!" Toga asks, clearly mad. "Why dib oo have oo oo at?" Tsu smirks. "I cant i peak? Uht us at liquib? Uck oo!" Tsu giggles a bit. "It's a toxin that I can create that can numb people. It got in your mouth, so now you can shut up, ribbit." Toga looks very mad. "Ow long oes it ast?" "About 20 minutes, ribbit." Toga crosses her arms, then looks away. "So," I ask Asui. "Why were Uraraka and Momo crying?" Tsu sighs. "I was telling them who died. Do you want to know, ribbit?" I nod. "All the top ten heroes are dead, Mineta, Koda, and….All might." All Might? NO! This isn't true! Tears stream down my face as she tells me that All Might is dead. "Would…would you like me to leave, ribbit?" I nod, grateful that she understands. She gets up and leaves the room, leaving me and both Toga's. I sit there for like ten minutes, then notice Alternate Toga sitting there, staring in space. "Hey Toga. Are you good?" She doesn't hear me. I snap a few times. "Oh..What?" She asks. "I asked if you were okay." She nods. "Yeah, I'm fine. You have way more people who died then I did after all." I force her to look at me. "Hey! Just because many people died here doesn't mean his sacrifice meant nothing. He saved her!" I point to our Toga. She has tears coming from her face now. "Come here." I open my arms, and give her a hug. This aggravates my wounds, but I still try to hug her. "You go to the others, okay? They will take care of you." She nods, and leaves, leaving me and Toga. "Can you talk yet?" I ask. She shakes her head. I wait, then she speaks. "I can now." I look at her. "How are you feeling?" I ask. "Good, they said I'm healing better than expected, and they are going to get someone to help both of us, and then we'll be released! I wonder who I'll be." I think for a moment, but I can't figure it out. "We'll see." I say. I yawn. "I think I'm gonna go to bed, okay?" She nods. I fall asleep. I wake up to hear a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I hear Toga ask. "It's us." It's Uraraka, Tsu, and one more voice. "Come in" I say. The door opens, and I see Uraraka, followed by Asui, followed by…"Nejire?" She smiles. "Yup! How are you, Midoriya?" I smile. "Not great, but I'll get better. I see you cut your hair!" Her hair goes to about her shoulder, instead of the knee length hair. "Yup! I find it's easier to do hero work if my hair isn't as long. It gets stuck on things." I nod, even though I have no Idea that feeling. "We were going to bring kirishima, ribbit, but he wasn't available. We have a visitor for you, ribbit!" I look, and see a girl standing in the doorway. So many girls. She has white hair, with a horn on her forehead. She looks about twelve. "Eri?" I ask, not certain. She runs to my side, and hugs me. "Deku! I've missed you!" Her voice has changed a lot, and she seems more intelligent. "How have you been?" I ask her. "I've been good, I heal people, it makes me happy that I can help!" "So you've mastered your power?" I ask. She nods. "That's why we brought her, so she can heal both of you!" Nejire says. I nod. "You ready Eri?" She asks. Eri nods. She places a hand on my shoulder then activates her quirk. She holds on for about three seconds, then takes her hand off. I move my hand to my shoulder to feel…skin. It worked! I flex my arm and leg, which normally causes pain, but it doesn't hurt. "Thank you Eri!" I exclaim. She smiles. "I've missed you so much Deku!" She hugs me one last time, then moves over to toga's bed. She rewinds Toga, then lets go. "Thank you…Eri? Is that your name?" Toga asks. She nods happily. "Nice to meet you, miss…?" "Himiko Toga." "Miss Toga!" Toga blushes a bit, I don't know why. "You guys get dressed, ribbit. We'll meet you in the lobby." They leave the room. "Okay," I say to Toga. "Let's get dressed." She smirks. "Okay, look away. Or don't, honestly I'd like it if you looked." I blush, then turn away. "J-just get dressed." She giggles, and gets dressed. Then I get dressed, and we meet Uraraka and Tsu in the lobby. "Where are Nejire and Eri?" I ask. "Nejire took Eri home, ribbit." Tsu responds. "Are you guys ready to go?" She asks. We both nod. Toga offers her hand to me. I take it. Asui nods, and we leave the hospital with a faint blush on my cheeks.
