CHAPTER #6 ALBERT AND SYLVIA PROPOSE
Albert and Sylvia Ingalls the Heavenly couple who are known to the world as Al and Syl Quinn are out flying around the countryside protecting and helping those in need. They are talking among themselves as Albert says, "Sylvia, my Heavenly love it is so great to be helping others."
Sylvia agrees, "Yes Albert my Heavenly love! It was good to see those renegade Indians at our party come forward and apologize to the Pastor and his wife for attacking their wagon train months ago."
"Yes, my love!" Albert nods, "There was true forgiveness by the Pastor and his wife. I also believe that the Indians will be helped by reading the Bible that Nels give them."
Meanwhile in the mountains of Nevada men are working on a goldmine landscape. They are digging for gold. However, there are men armed with rifles watching the men work. The workers are in shackles. A man riding on a horse is surveying the progress, "When are we going to hit that gold?" He asked.
"Well Judge we been digging like crazy but no luck," the foreman answers.
"Well, keep those prisoners working. We found a little gold but I want more!" The judge says.
"Yes, sir!" The foreman says, "Keep those prisoners digging," He shouts to his men.
As the prisoners continue to work. One prisoner exhausted from the grueling work collapses. Another holding a rifle angrily yells at the prisoner, "Get back to work!"
One big husky prisoner goes up to the collapsed man,"He only needs shade for a few minutes," Hoss says.
"I don't care! Leave him and get back to work!" The guard says.
Hoss seeing how the guard is showing no compassion begins to get angry. Hoss begins to pick up his pick shovel that has sharp edges on it and goes toward the guard with it as he says, "I am gonna kill you with this if you don't let that boy rest some."
The guard points his rifle at Hoss, "You better not even try it! I said leave him be! Get back to work or it will be your last!"
Hoss's Pa, Ben Cartwright pleas with Hoss," Hoss! Don't!"
However the big man driven by abuse, forced labor, now has nothing to lose. He begins to run to attack the guard. The guard fires his rifle at Hoss. The shot doesn't hit it's target.
Albert from the sky hears the commotion and heads down for a landing. The Heavenly Hero lands and deflects the bullet, "Stop! What's going on here?!" Albert asks.
Sylvia follows and lands in front of Hoss and manages to calm him, "It's alright sir we are here," Sylvia says.
The Judge now begins to show fear, "Oh no! NO! It's that pair! The Heavenly Hero and Heavenly Heroine! I heard stories about them! Kill them! or all is lost."
The Judge and his men begin firing their rifles at Albert and Sylvia. Sylvia instinctly pulls Hoss behind her shielding him from the bullets being fired at her and Albert.
The Heavenly couple cannot be harmed by anything and the bullets bounce off of them.
Meanwhile Ben Cartwright shouts to all of the other prisoners, "Men! strike now what do you have to lose!"
The other prisoners grab their pick shovels and whatever weapons they can find and they start to attack their captors.
Although bullets are bouncing off of him Albert waves his hands and all the shackles from every prisoner fall off freeing them.
Little Joe Cartwright and his older brother Adam Cartwright attack and jumps on two guards seizing their weapons by overpowering them.
Meanwhile the Judge turns his horse and tries to gallop away.
All of the prisoners and the Cartwrights all manage to overpower the guards after receiving new inspiration from the Heavenly couple.
Sylvia after deflecting the bullets turns and looks at Hoss, "Thank you Ma'am but that Judge is getting away!" Hoss says, "We can handle these men here. Go get that Judge!"
"We will Hoss, my husband and I will," Sylvia says as she takes to the air. Then Albert follows his wife.
Hoss is astounded seeing Sylvia and Albert take off into the air.
Ben Cartwright and his 3 sons Adam, Hoss and Little Joe manage to get the guards tied up. The Sheriff of Nevada city comes by to take them the 'so called' Guards in. The Sheriff tell the Cartwrights, "These 'Guards' are not real guards they are fakes acting to use men to get what they want. We have the 'Judge,' the leader back at the Jail. The Heavenly couple Al and Syl brought him in with the gold. I brought the gold with me. I think we should divide it among all these men here that worked so hard for so long. It will give them something to help get back on their feet financially."
Ben agrees and then says, "Me and my family don't need any we haven't been here that long."
The gold is divided among all the prisoners that were hold captive for years unjustly as they all say, "Thank you," to Sheriff Coffee and head back to their families.
Ben Cartwright thanks the Sheriff and also says, "Sheriff if you see that Heavenly couple again thank them also."
''I will," Sheriff Coffee replies.
Sheriff Coffee leaves with the so called 'guards' to take them to Jail.
Ben Cartwright with a rifle in his hands goes up to his middle son, "I heard about that Heavenly Couple. I never imagined meeting them Pa", Hoss says.
"I have too," Ben says, "I'm just glad they saved us. If I see them again they will always be welcome at the Ponderosa."

The Heavenly married couple is now engaged to be married according to Earth laws.
Albert and Sylvia Ingalls known to the world as Al and Syl Quinn the Heavenly couple. They are married by God up in Heaven but not on Earth. They're making plans and preparations to get married by Earth standards and also by the Indian Nation.
When they arrive at the Indian Nation Al and Syl come in contact with the Chief and his son the same ones that was at the honoring ceremony for Al and Syl. Al tells the Chief, "Syl and I want to get married legally on Earth and we both thought it would be nice to have our Wedding Ceremony here in your Indian Camp."
The Indian Chief agrees, "That would be great and we would be honored! Pastor Fletcher and his wife will be here in 2 weeks he can do the ceremony if that's ok with you two."
Both Al and Syl agrees to Pastor Fletcher doing the Ceremony and than Syl says, "Two weeks we don't have alot to do to get ready. Also we would like for you to marry us by you own Indian traditions."
Al agrees, "We can have 2 ceremonies one with Pastor Felcher and the American way and the second with you the Chief of the Indians and the Indian way."
The Chief is touched by this, "It would be my honor to also do your ceremony as well. It is good that our people are united in doing this."
Al and Syl both says their goodbyes to the Chief and his son as they say, "Thank you, we will see you in 2 weeks."
The Chief nods and agrees, "2 weeks."
Al and Syl fly off towards home, Walnut Grove to tell their families and to invite them all to their Earthly Wedding.
Albert and Sylvia arrive home and land in front of Sylvia's Pa's house. After greeting her father. Sylvia breaks the announcement to her Pa, "Pa, guess what? Albert and I are getting married."
Hector is stunned by the news and also happy, "I don't know what to say. Didn't you marry in Heaven by the Lord?" Hector asks.
"Yes but we want to make it all proper down
here on Earth since we never got married on Earth," Albert answers.
Hector hugs his daughter, "I'm so happy for you both Sylvia! Congratulations! and I love you both!"
"Thank you Papa!" Sylvia says.
Hector then goes over to Albert, "Son! thanks to you I wouldn't have seen this day. When I first met you I really was against you. I wasn't myself. I guess I was overprotective of my daughter. Because of you my daughter is happy. You both have made me proud. Albert, you and Sylvia have my blessing," He says then he hugs Albert.
Sylvia smiles seeing her father hugging her husband to be on Earth.
"Thank you sir. I mean Pa. I will always love your daughter throughout all eternity. I swear it," Albert vows.
"Well come on you two love birds. We have a wedding to plan," Hector says.

That evening Hector Webb along with his daughter and son in law have supper at the Wilder's Boarding House with the Wilders and the Ingalls. Albert and Sylvia tells their whole family about their wedding plans.
Laura Wilder says, "Albert my brother and Sylvia my sister in Law we all are happy for you to be offically married on Earth."
All the family agrees as they congratulate Albert and Sylvia.
Sylvia mentions, "The wedding can only be held and attended strictly by family and certain friends."
Albert adds, "The wedding will be taking place on the Indian Nation Lands. No worries the Chief will protect you. When we reach the Indian Nation the Chief will have their braves escort us to their village."
Hector Webb, the Wilders and Ingalls all agree to the plans of having the wedding at the Indian Nation.
Caroline and Laura says as they give Sylvia a hug, "We can make you a wedding dress."

They immediately start right on it during the two weeks they have managed to get her dress completely done. The dress is very beautiful! complete with a veil it is matched with yellow flowers and a long long white train.
As the two weeks pass by Albert and Sylvia are also busy planning for their wedding as they visit Reverend Alden and request that he and his wife attend the ceremony although they tell them, "Reverend and Mrs. Anna Alden we are having Pastor Fletcher do the ceremony because we helped them so many months ago when they were attacked by the Indians on their wagon train."
Reverend Alden and his wife Anna both agree by saying, "Yes that is a wonderful idea and we both would be honored to attend the wedding.
As the wedding arrangements are being made Albert and Sylvia are able to keep up with their duties of patrolling the frontier. During that time they decide to make a stop in the State of Nevada going back to the Ponderosa Ranch the largest spread of land on Earth owned by Ben Cartwright. Albert and Sylvia sees the beautiful area of Lake Tahoe and a little cabin by the lake.
Sylvia and Albert are talking with Ben and his sons in the dining room, "Mr. Cartwright Syl and I are getting married next week and we hoping we could use your beautiful land by Lake Tahoe for our Honeymoon if it's ok with you?"
"Of course you can have your Honeymoon on Lake Tahoe on our Ponderosa it's our way of repaying you both for saving us," Ben says, "Congratulations on your upcoming marriage."
"Thank you," Al says.

Ben gets up from his chair as Al is getting up from his and they shake hands, "Thank you again Mr. Cartwright sir," Al says.

"Well Syl. Let's get back on patrol," Al says.

"Well let's get back to work we have to get that cabin ready too," Ben says.
The Cartwrights go back into the house.
Albert and Sylvia arrive back home and the following week is filled with wedding preparations.
It's finally the morning of the wedding day. Albert and Sylvia tell their families, "We are going out to patrol for a couple of hours we plan to be at the Indian Nation around 1pm. The ceremony will start at 6pm."
Charles Ingalls says, "Sounds good son we can also be there around 1pm. we will have Rev. Alden and his wife with us."

As Albert and Sylvia fly off they say to their families, "We will see you all around 1pm."
The Ingalls, Wilders and Hector Webb wave and says back, "See you at 1pm."

They head towards the Indian Nation and make a landing right at 1pm. The Braves are also escorting the Alden's, the Wilders and Ingalls into the Indian Camp.
Caroline Ingalls and Laura Wilder go up to Al and Syl and they say, "Syl, we have your wedding dress we will help you get ready. We shouldn't let Al see you in your dress before the ceremony."
Charles Ingalls and Hector Webb says to Al, "We have your tux and we'll help you get ready. Don't let Syl see you in it before she walks down the aisle."
The Chief Indian shows them to two different teepees to get ready in. Laura Wilder and Caroline Ingalls both stay to their children, "Rose and Jenny Wilder and Carrie and Grace Ingalls you kids play nicely with the Indian children."

The next morning Albert and Sylvia wake up from a peaceful sleep and Albert says to his new first time Earthly wife, "Good morning my love. How is my new Earthly wife this morning?"

As they are talking the Chief asks, "What do the sky people and new Indian married couple plan to go for what you call a Honeymoon?"
Syl answers, "We are going to Lake Tahoe on the Ponderosa owned by the Cartwright's in Nevada territory."
"Oh that is good," the Chief replies, "The Cartwrights are good people also. We know them well."

Hector Webb, the Ingalls, Wilders, Aldens load up and head out. Pastor Fletcher and his wife also head out to their next place of service for the Lord. Some braves follow the group to escort them safely back into their territory.

Meanwhile on the Ponderosa Ben Cartwright and his sons are getting the Cabin and boat ready for Al and Syl to be there later that night.
