Agent 99 is waiting downtown; she gets out of the car and looks around. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder, she grabbed the arm and flipped the person over her shoulder. She looked and saw that it was Robin.
"Robin, I am so sorry are you okay?" she asked feeling bad
"I'm fine. I didn't mean to sneak up on you." Said Robin
"That's all right, we CONTROL agents are always on guard. So, where's Batman I was supposed to meet him here?" 99 asked
"Batman is working on a lead, so he sent me here instead." Robin responded
"I think Max and Bruce Wayne are in trouble." Said 99
"We need to find them." Said Robin
"That's why I wanted to meet Batman, I think I know where they are." said 99
"Where?" Robin asked
"At Egghead's hideout where were before." 99 responded
"We better go." Said Robin
They get in the car and head over to Egghead's hideout, when they get there, they see Egghead and henchmen escorting Doctor Feldon into a waiting van.
"I wonder where they're going?" 99 asked
"I don't know 99, but we better keep following them." Robin suggested
They followed the van slowly; they kept following until they come to what appears to a small airport. Egghead and his goons escort Doctor Feldon inside, Robin and 99 get out of the car and proceeded to slowly follow them. They peer inside and see KAOS's top operative Sigfried standing by a small airplane with two KAOS agents
"It's Sigfried! KAOS's top agent." 99 whispered
"Holy villainy!" Robin whispered
They continued watch and listen as the two villains interact.
"Nice work Egghead, we will now take Doctor Feldon." Said Sigfried
"Not so fast Sigfried, I carried out my part of the plan and I eggxpect to be compensated." Egghead demanded
"Why of course Egghead." Said Siegfried as he motions for one of the KAO's agents to hand him a briefcase
Suddenly two KAOS agents escort Robin and 99 in at gunpoint.
"Well, what do we have here? We meet again 99 and of course Robin the boy wonder." Said Siegfried greeting them
"It appears that you both survived my egglaborate trap and I assume Batman and Smart are alive too." Said Egghead
"You won't get away with this Siegfried." Said 99
"And you Egghead, I always knew were a rotten egg, but you're a traitor too!" said Robin
"Well, you know what they say, if you want an omelet you have to crack a few eggs." Said Egghead
"What do we with boss kill them?" asked one of the KAOS agent
"Not yet. Since Egghead failed at eliminating them, I will have to do it myself. Bring them along. Siegfried ordered
The KAOS agents escort Robin, 99 and Doctor Feldon aboard the plane.
At the warehouse Max and Bruce are still being held by KAOs, they were sitting next to each other tied up. The KAOs agents took Max's shoes to prevent him from using the shoe phone
"I am very sorry about this Mister Wayne; I think may have miscalculated." Said Max
"Actually, Mister Smart, before you got here, I learned that my kidnapping was a diversion to get Doctor Feldon out of town." Said Bruce
"Of course, the old kidnap the millionaire to create a diversion trick! That's second time I fell for it this month." Said Max
"Don't feel bad Mister Smart, at least you what KAOS's plan are." Said Bruce
Max struggled against the rope bonds until he was able to free his hands. He gets up grab his shoes and unties Bruce
"How did you get free?" Bruce asked
"The old blade in the watch in the watch trick." Said Max
"Now we have to get out of here." Said Bruce
They looked around the room when suddenly Bruce noticed an air vent.
"Mister Smart, look there's an air vent, maybe we can climb up and escape." Bruce suggested
"Quiet Mister Wayne, I'm trying to think. I've got maybe we can climb up and escape." Said Max
"Good Idea." Said Bruce keeping his patience. Max grabbed the chair and pushed it against the wall, then he hoisted Bruce up as he climbs up. Max jumps up as Bruce grabs his arms and pulls him up. They crawl through the vent and end up on the other side of the warehouse, they spot two KAOS agents and take cover. Max sneaks up behind one of them and chops him in the back of the neck knocking him out. Another KAOS agent sees him and starts shooting him, but Bruce blindsides him with a right cross knocking him out
"Nice punch Mister Wayne! That was very brave." Said Max
"I wouldn't call it brave, just self-preservation." Said Bruce
"Well, I think I better get you home. Wait until I tell 99 that she was wrong, I didn't need Batman's help
"You certainly didn't. Now let's get out of here." Said Bruce as they head to the exit.
