"Easy! You're gonna tears the stems again!" Ethari laughed as he watched Runaan struggle with the tiny flowers.

The two of them were sitting in a large flowerfield as their sweet little 'niece' Rayla played a little off on the side as they babysat her for the day while her parents had a meeting.

They had been having a lovely time, Rayla and Ethari making each other crowns with the missions of colorful flowers surrounding them with Runaan content to just watch them when Rayla had asked why he wasn't making crowns too.

He had answered just as said before, that he was content with just watching her and Ethari but this answer resulted in Rayla jumping to the conclusion that he didn't know how to and Runaan had of course denied do, accepting the girl's challenge of proofing himself her from.

Luckily for him Rayla was quickly distracted by a couple of adoraburrs nearby and had chased after them.

And why was that lucky?

Because Runaan really did not know to make flower crowns.

Now, watching him struggling to weave them together to save his own ego was pretty hilarious, but Ethari wasn't cruel so decided to try and help the poor guy a little.

"Okay, okay, just take a deep breath and calm down for a second!" he told his husband, trying to still his snickers.

"I am calm!" Runaan hissed back, though he still followed the advice and took a deep breath.

"This is impossible." he groaned, glaring at the mess of flowers and leaves in his lap.

"There, there," Ethari soothingly rubbed his shoulder, "If Rayla can learn to make flower crowns, so can you."

"To be fair, Rayla's hands are a lot smaller than mine." Runaan tried to excuse himself.

"And my hands are bigger than yours." Ethari grinned teasingly as he grabbed one of Runaan's hands and pressed his own palm against it to compare, enjoying the embarrassed blush that was slowly coloring Runaan's face.

"T-That's not a fair comparrison! You're always working on those small device with tiny tools! You're used to it!" now Ethari was laughing, only managing to calm himself down and wave at Rayla when she looked over, curious to what was up with him.

It took all selfcontrol not to burst out laughing again when he found that Runaan was sulking.

His brow was furrowed, bright eyes glared, he had his arms crossed and was slouching a bit and best of all, he had an adorable childish pout on his lips.

"Alright, I'm done laughing at you. I promise." Ethari chuckled, holding up his hands in surrender.

"Kiss?" he offered with a grin that grew wider when Runaan quickly dropped the act and leaned forward for a quick peck.

"Right," Runaan said when they pulled away, now wearing a small smile too, "Is there any chance that my husband who's as talented in all forms of crafting as he is handsome would be willing to actually help me out a bit?"

"Hmm~ I believe he'd be more than happy to do so." Ethari played along, moving to sit closer and started explaining how he himself did it.

A couple of hours later they were walking home with Rayla happily dangling and swinging from their hands.

Ethari was also wearing a flower crown made by Runaan himself on his head.

It really wasn't the prettiest crown and still a bit messy but Ethari didn't mind, knowing him wearing it was the reason that Runaan was visibly swelling with pride.

And what kind of husband would he be if he wasn't willing to humor him every now and then?

Besides, he enjoyed teaching Runaan and would make sure he'd practice his new skill by just dragging him to that field more often.
