Alright here's my story for Fall prompt #1!

WHICH IS BETTER?
It was a chilly, fall day in Anniera and Esben, who was sixteen, and his brother Artham, who was eighteen, waited excitedly at the east docks of Anniera. They were waiting for a very important ship that would bring their very good friend Rudric who was seventeen. They had spotted the Hollish ship and waited a long time for the it to get closer. But finally, the crew tied the ship to the dock and put down the plank so that people could get off. Esben started to bounce a bit and Artham didn't even try to keep him still because he knew that once Artham's hand let go of him Esben would jump even more. "Wingfeathers!" The brothers looked at the top of the plank to see a boy their age run down the plank, although Rudric always seemed bigger than his age. Esben ran to meet Rudric in the middle and once he did, they did their "secret handshake". Artham laughed at the name since it wasn't much of a secret since they always did it in front of people. Once Artham caught up with them, he greeted Rudric with a hug and pat on the back and then the trio got onto their horses, Esben brought a third horse for Rudric, and made their way to Castle Rysen.
Once they got home, they all raced to the kitchen to find something to eat which was pretty easy considering that they all loved food. But Esben and Rudric had a hard time agreeing what they were going to drink, while Artham was leaning against the counter trying to hold in more laughter as he watched it all go down. "Alright," Esben said getting out three cups. "Let's make hot chocolate!"
"Hot chocolate?" Rudric asked.
"What you never had hot chocolate before?"
"Yes, I've had hot chocolate before."
"Good! Now go get the chocolate."
"But why are we having hot chocolate in the fall?"
"Because that's what it's made for."
"No, hot chocolate is for the winter. It's the apple cider that was made for the fall."
"How do you know?"
"Because when fall comes around that's when people go and pick apples to make apple cider. During the winter is when people go and heat up some chocolate for hot chocolate."
"Really that's weird."
"Says the weird guy who drinks hot chocolate in the fall."
"I'm not being weird I'm being bold by showing how limited edition I am."
Rudric turned to Artham who was turning red from hiding all the laughter. "You could help ya know."
Finally, Artham laughed out loud, "I know!"
"Well, you pick" Esben said. "Which is better?"
Artham stayed silent for a bit then he had an idea. "Ok how about this I will make the drink while you two go and wait in the dining hall."
It took a while until finally Artham came out with a cup in his hand but with only one and said, "Hello children.". Rudric and Esben looked at each other then at Artham who sat at the table across from them and put his feet on it.
"Well?" Rudric asked.
"Well, what?" Artham said with a smirk.
"Well, which is the better drink?!" Esben said.
Artham took a sip of his drink and said, "Coffee."
"What?!" Rudric and Esben exclaimed.
"I said, 'coffee'." Artham said while lifting up his cup.
"But that wasn't even a choice!" Rudric said.
"Well, first of all I wasn't part of the debate so I'm free to choose what I want to drink and second I'm remaking the choices for which is the better drink."
"Alright, what are they?" Esben asked.
"Coffee, coffee, or coffee." Artham said taking another sip of his coffee while Rudric and Esben stared at him with disbelief.
"Seriously?" Esben asked.
"Yeah, or you two can continue the argument of which drink is better while I enjoy my coffee and the entertainment." Artham took another sip of his coffee while Rudric and Esben continued to debate on which drink was better. Now, Artham had the solution to the problem in his head. Rudric can make apple cider and Esben can make hot chocolate. Artham thought, but then again, this show is getting pretty good.
