Chapter 1: Puck's Nightmares
While at Rachel St. James's house, everyone was shocked by an unexpected incident. The piercing screams of Noah Puckerman echoed through the hallways, causing a sudden commotion among the household. Amid the chaos, Kurt's daughter, Tracy, swiftly darted past the bewildered onlookers and leaped onto Quinn Fabray and Noah's bed. With a sense of urgency, she wrapped her tiny arms around Noah, attempting to comfort him.
As Tracy held onto Noah tightly, her voice broke into a soft rendition of "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon, her unique interpretation of the heartfelt song. The gentle melody and the warmth of Tracy's embrace gradually soothed Noah's distress. Tears streamed down his face as he slowly regained his composure, finding solace in the girl's presence.
Embracing Tracy back, Noah expressed gratitude for her unexpected display of affection. Their bond grew in that tender moment as Noah found comfort in the genuine care and understanding Tracy had shown him. Overwhelmed by emotion, he whispered words of appreciation to the little girl who had brought him such solace.
Meanwhile, amidst the unfolding scene, Quinn couldn't help but regret bringing Noah to Rachel's. The weight of her words hung in the air, reflecting her concern for Noah's well-being. At that moment, she realized the impact of her decision and the potential consequences it had brought upon him.
As the tumultuous morning settled, a sense of peace gradually settled in Rachel St. James's house. The unexpected outburst revealed the depth of compassion within Tracy and the vulnerability of Noah's emotional state. In this moment of shared vulnerability, the bonds between the two grew stronger as they navigated through what happened together.
Quinn glances at Tracy and says, "He was found in his boxers on a rubber raft saying something about a tree. He still has trouble talking. Until Kurt arrived with Tracy, Puck had to use his phone to tell me what he wanted. He still says something about a tree but won't tell me what he is talking about."
Tracy hits Quinn and says, "Tree, see, means Tracy, stupid head. Nono has been telling you I would understand him. Nono talks better in Hebrew and told me what happened. He woke up to find the ship he was on sinking like the Titanic and hearing bombs. Everybody else couldn't be saved, and he feared he would never see you again."
Noah whispers in Hebrew to Tracy, and she says, "Papa, get my suitcase and bring it here. Nono wants me to stay with him and Queenie." The others could tell Tracy was lying from Noah's reaction but said nothing as they argued in Hebrew.
Tracy soon asks her grandpa, Burt Hummel, to stay as Quinn leaves with the others, carrying a blanket and a pillow Kurt gave her. Burt lies beside Tracy as Noah says, "Sorry, Burt. I heard we'd be working together."
Burt looks at Tracy and says, "After COVID-19 hit, I quit Congress, Puck. Quinn wasn't told this. But, you were found a week after your ship sank with handcuffs on your wrist. What happened?"
Tracy puts her hand over Noah's mouth and says, "The people that work with Nono hate you. They also knew he would survive the attack and cuffed him to the bed. Nono wanted you here, but I wanted to stay. I had nightmares about the Hulk drowning on a battleship. I told Nono about them before he told me what had happened to him." Soon, they drift back to sleep, and Burt notices Noah has an adult diaper on.
When Noah woke up, he saw Tracy asleep beside him as Burt left. Noah knew Burt noticed his diaper and hoped Quinn hadn't told the others why he wore them or about him wetting the bed during his nightmares. Or that he has been in diapers since he came home and pees on himself if he hears loud noises.
As Tracy wakes up, Quinn and Blaine enter the room. Then Quinn says, "Your stuff is in Tracy's room. Blaine and Mr. H are the only ones that know about your bedwetting."
Then Tracy says, "Papa, put one of the walkie-talkies I brought here. So if Nono has another nightmare or needs a diaper change, we can tell Queenie without leaving my room."
Noah tries to say something when Tracy yells, "What is my other nickname for you, Nono? I don't care if Papa puts soap in my mouth for saying this! You are not a fucking loser, Nono! You have Queenie and friends who love you! I am three, and I still wet the bed! Does that make me a loser?"
Noah tries to speak again when Tracy yells, "I'm also your best friend, and think of you as my hero! It doesn't matter if you're a grownup and I'm a kid; don't look at me like that! Everybody here teases you about calling me that, and you have told them to fuck off or stormed off to my room crying!"
Quinn whispers to Blaine, "If Puck is Uncle Hulk, then Tracy is Little She-Puck." Blaine hides behind Quinn, and he tries to stifle his laughter but says nothing.
They soon hear Santana say, "That's Little She-Hulk, and Puck is my best friend too. Now go; I got these two."
Noah sighs and asks, "Did Quinn tell you about me wearing diapers?" As he takes a breath every two words.
Santana glances at Tracy and says, "No, but Mr. H did after I found them in Quinn's room when I helped Blaine move your stuff. I also know about your seizures. You had one last night after a nightmare. Tracy was the only one who helped you by singing to you."
Noah wipes a tear away and says, "I remember." He starts to stutter and breaks down.
Then Tracy gets on his lap and puts her head against Noah's as she tells Santana, "Auntie Tana, Nono was the Hulk. Do you hear me? My nightmares were real." Santana soon leaves the room and asks Rachel for Shelby's number.
Soon, Tracy sings "Hero" by Maria Carey, and Quinn peeks into the room to see Noah and Tracy staring at each other while still in bed.
They hold their noses before Quinn drags Kurt in, saying, "I have changed three of Puck's diapers already and almost puked on him the last time!"
Tracy giggles and whispers, "Nono, I heard you and Queenie are moving in with us. Did you know Grandpa Burt and Nana Carole are moving in, too?" Kurt glares at Tracy as he changes Noah's diaper.
As soon as Tracy's diaper is changed, Quinn picks her up and rushes out of the room, whispering, "I hid the wipes under the bed after Uncle Puck's last diaper change because your dada made me mad by saying Uncle Puck should be with Uncle Finn." Tracy knew her uncle Finn had died before she was born and that he was Noah's best friend.
Soon, Noah is laughing as Kurt yells, "I brought six boxes of wipes! Where are they? Oh, God! Get a rag! Rachel, why aren't there any washrags?" Santana shows everyone she put the washrags in her purse as Kurt tells Noah to get in the shower before running out, saying ew repeatedly.
Noah sends Quinn a text, saying, "That was hilarious. Tell Tracy I found her wipes. Good thing I brought my loofah sponge. Want to join me?" Quinn hands Tracy to Burt and heads to Tracy's room as Kurt complains about Noah and Quinn ruining the week for him.
Fifteen minutes later, Noah storms out of Tracy's room and gets in Kurt's face, yelling, "You are not the only one wishing I was dead, Kurt! I came home feeling like a loser until I met Tracy! Do you know how long Quinn has found me in the shower trying to cut my wrists? Kurt, until last night! Quinn hadn't had a good night's sleep because she would wake up to me screaming every night! Tracy is the only person who could help me sleep in the last six months! I have been through hell, Kurt!"
He soon flips over a coffee table, then continues, yelling, "The crap Karofsky did to you doesn't compare to the crap I have gone through, Kurt! My squad had had it out for me since they learned I knew your dad! The night I almost drowned, I was almost raped, Kurt! I was the only one on the ship who survived that hell, and I am wearing a diaper because I was shot in the back, and it screwed up my bowels! You better be glad you didn't have to deal with a colostomy bag, Kurt!" Noah storms back to Tracy's room after taking her from Burt and slams the door shut.
Then Tracy says, "I got you, Nono. Dada has a stupid head. Grandpa Burt was the only one who figured out I dreamed about you. General Young figured out that the numbers on the picture I sent him were your location. I'm sorry you are wearing a diaper, but I can't wait to see Dada change your poopy diaper again."
Quinn and Burt look at each other as they whisper, "Me, too," as Carole elbows them.
Chapter 2 should be up soon.
