Toshinori looked at the coffee shop sign. It had a paper on it saying it was closing for good today. He knew this was coming. The sign had been up for months now. Slowly the other regulars were leaving. Toshinori was the only one who came every day. Some days he was the only one who came in at all. He only drank his coffee black. He knew he could make it at home for cheap but the only reason he came in was for the owner, his friend Naomasa Tsukauchi.

The old blonde man would sit and talk to him for an hour before heading to his job at the police station. Toshinori wasn't happy that his friend was selling his shop to a big-name coffee place. He would rather have little mom-and-pop stores stay around. But he wasn't sad either.

He actually talked Naomasa into becoming a police officer. He knew Naomasa had the emotional and physical strength for it. And he said he always wanted to be a police officer when he was a kid. He just needed the push. But Toshinori didn't realize he would have to close his shop in order to become an officer. Toshinori sighed as he walked in.

The place was empty.

"Hey Tosh," Naomasa greeted without looking up from what he was cleaning, "How'd ya sleep?"

"Fine, just fine," Toshinori went up to the counter. His cup was already there with his name on it. He took it and pulled out his wallet. Naomasa put up his hand.

"You're not paying today," he put his hand up, stopping him, "It's my last day and you're my last customer. And my new boss," Naomasa smirked. Toshinori smiled back and put the normal payment and his normal tip both in the tip jar. He paused. The tip jar wasn't empty. There was 500 yen there.

"You had another customer today?" Toshinori asked.

"Oh, yeah. She was an old regular from when I first opened. You've probably never seen her before. She only came in at night with her baby,".

"At night? With her baby?" Toshinori asked.

"Her husband ran off after she got pregnant, from what I remember. She was so tired from work and being up all night with the baby,"

"Why'd she come today?" Toshinori nodded.

"Well, she opened her own coffee shop down the road. She wanted to offer my first cup free," He smiled, "It was like talking to an old friend,".

"That's good," he drank his coffee.

"Yeah, from what she was describing it's a lot fancier than what I have so that she can keep up with the big shops,".

"Hmmm,".

"I'll have to introduce you two when we go there tomorrow,".

"Huh? Oh, no. I'll just be making my coffee from home,".

"You sure? She still makes your regular, black,". Toshinori waved him off.

The next day Toshinori woke up and tried to comb his wild hair in front of the mirror. He looked at his stomach. It was scarred from an old wound from a fight when he was an officer. Now he was a captain who mostly pushed papers. His eyes shifted focus to look behind him into his bedroom. It was a king bed but he was the only one to sleep in it. His whole life was dedicated to police work and what did he have to show for it? A ruined stomach and an empty bed. He ignored his own thoughts and went to his kitchen. He looked at his coffee pot with pride. He hadn't used it. It was more for decoration. But today was the day he would put it to good use. He poured in the water and started heating it up. He went to his pantry to pull out his coffee grounds. There was a half-open bag behind his pasta. It was dusty and didn't smell of anything. He put it in his coffee maker and waited for the pot to fill up with black goodness. He poured it into his mug and took a sip of it. He grimaced and gagged. He poured everything down the sink. Toshinori shouldn't have left it open for so long. It tasted terrible. He sighed and headed off to work.

Throughout the day he sat behind his desk, reading over reports and calling in officers for meetings the usual. He was much grumpier today. He pinched the bridge of his nose, then held his temples. Naomasa came in, now a rookie on the force, and knocked on the door. Toshinori groaned. Naomasa recognized that look.

"You have a caffeine headache?" Naomasa chuckled.

"Asprin won't work,". Toshinoris

"That's because only caffeine will cure it. Here," Naomasa smiled and took out his phone, "on your break go to this shop. It's the one I've told you about,". He sent the text and it pinged on Toshinoris phone causing him more grief.

On his break, Toshinori followed the directions to the little coffee shop that was covered in flowers and a wood facade. He went in and saw it bustling with other officers and civilians. There were two teens running back and forth making drinks and putting them on the counter. One was a greenette with curls, green eyes, and freckles. He was smiling at the customers and giving them their drinks. The other was another boy was blonde with sharp red eyes. He had a scowl glued to his face so he wasn't handing out drinks just making them. He went up to the counter, the constant chatter around him made his head pound. When the green boy saw Toshinori he yelled out "Customer", and gave the older man a smile before looking away. Then his head cocked right back to him.

"Captain Yagi?!" He nearly shouted. The blonde looked at him too. The two boys came running up to him. "Captain Yagi?! Right?" The greenette asked.

"Shut it Deku," The blonde scolded, "It's obvious dumbass,". Toshinori chuckled.

"I'm surprised you know who I am,".

"Right after college I'm gonna join the police force," The blonde smirked, "I'm going to be the best damn officer that Japan has seen,".

"I want to too!" the green one spoke up. Toshinori smiled.

"That's good. I'm glad that the youth is looking for a job in the force,".

"Izuku? Katsukichan? What are you two doing?" A woman's voice came out from the back.

As if in slow motion the two boys separated and revealed an angel behind them. She had a full, round figure, soft round cheeks, green hair, and eyes. She had a soft stern look on her face.

"I know you are excited to see Captain Yagi but you two have jobs to do!" Her frustration melted as she looked at Toshinori. "Sorry, captain. What would you like for today?"

Toshinoris mind went blank. He blushed hard when she asked again.

"Captain?"

"Wh-what's your favorite drink?" he blurted out.

"Oooh, you wouldn't like it," she waved him off.

"Really?" he didn't know what to do with his body or his hands.

"I usually just drink my coffee black. I don't need anything special,".

"But you are special," he breathed out.

"Pardon?" she blinked.

"Oh um... black is what I drink," Toshinori recovered.

"Really? That's great. I'll make it for you so you don't have to deal with a dozen questions from my boys,". Toshinori smiled.

"You're perfect," his eyes were hearts.

"Huh?" She blinked at him.

"That's perfect!" he smiled.

The drink was finished quickly and handed over to him. He took it and smelled the robust aroma. It was great. He looked at the woman.

"I'm sorry but what's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Inko. This is my son Izuku," she pointed to the greenette, "This is Katsuki Bakugo. He's my friend's son and Izukus's boyfriend. Oh," she picked up a small card and handed it to him, "if you buy a cup 9 times you get the 10th free," she smiled and punched the card with a little hole puncher. The hole was in a shape of a heart. Toshinori looked at his drink. She wrote 'Yagi' on it.

"I better be getting back. Goodbye Inko," he waved.

"I hope to see you soon, Captain!" she waved as well.

Toshinori got back to his desk and drank his coffee. He smiled at the warm and bitter flavor. He let the aroma fill his nose. The image of Inko smiling mixing with the coffee smell was amazing. He didn't care about anything else. Naomasa came in in his civilian clothing.

"I finished!" Naomasa stretched and yawned. Toshinori realized someone was talking to him.

"Oh, how was your first day?"

"It was great nothing too exciting," Naomasa looked at the coffee cup with his captain's name on it. "How was her coffee?"

"She was amazing," Toshinori smiled.

"Her coffee?" Naomasa was confused.

"Inko," He looked lazily at him.

"Inkosan? You-" Naomasa slammed his hands on Toshinoris's desk, "you like Inkosan!?" Toshinori waved his hands hoping he would quiet down.

"Yes. Yes. She's just so- beautiful. I wanted to ask her out but-"

"She's divorced! If that's what you're worried about,". Naomasa smiled wide.

"No, no," Toshinori shook his head.

"Then ask her out!" The younger man blurted out again.

"I can't. I just… I don't think she would want an old man like me. She is still so young and full of life. And I am an old grump whose life is his job," Toshinori shrugged weakly.

"You're not that old," Naomasa waved him off.

"I can't," he sighed.

"Look, you got a stamp card, right? If you still haven't asked her out by your free cup," he held up his own punch card, "I'll ask her out," Naomasa smirked.

"What?! Do you like her?" Toshinori blushed.

"No,".

"Then why would you ask her out?" The captain was confused.

"To show you it's not hard," Naomasa laughed.

"Then why don't you have a girlfriend?" Toshinori covered his smile with his hand.

"Hey!" the rookie blushed.

Toshinori and Naomasa went to the shop the next day together. It was just as busy as the day before. Toshinori was worried that she would be too busy to talk to him. He was worried that if he did talk to her, he wouldn't be able to ask her out. Then he worried that she wouldn't want to talk to him anymore because it's her job to be nice to customers and she probably wouldn't like to be hit on by her regulars.

Naomasa chuckled into his hand.

"You look terrified,"

"That's because I am," Toshinori waited in line with his friend. Toshinori was taller than most people so he could see over everyone's heads to see Inko. She smiled brightly at the person she was talking to. Her head tilted and she laughed. Toshinoris heart fluttered.

They walked up to the counter. Inkos mouth made a little smile. She turned around and put a cup in front of Toshinori. It was labeled 'Yagi' with a little smile next to it.

"Captain Yagi," Inko greeted, "good to see you again!"

"You have my drink ready?" Toshinori asked.

"Well, I saw you come in and knew you liked it black. It's quick and easy!" She lowered her head, nodding slightly.

"That's very kind of you for having it ready for me," Toshinori thanked her. They sat in silence while Toshinoris face burned red, his tongue was tied up and the butterflies in his wreaked stomach were going crazy. Naomasa bit his lip looking at his blonde friend.

"Inko?" he licked his dry lips.

"Yes, Captain Yagi?" she leaned in closer. Naomasa held his breath.

"Would- would you like- would you like- the tip in cash... or on the card?" Toshinori smiled awkwardly.

"Oh," she leaned away, "Either way. Let the boys split it between them at the end of their shifts," she smiled.

"That's good," The captain nodded. Naomasa hit his face with his hand.

They paid for their drinks and let Inko punch their cards for a second time. They stood in the corner drinking their drinks, both watching her greet every customer.

"Don't worry, Tosh, tomorrow is a new day! Even though today was a new day, and you screwed it up but ya know, it's fine," Naomasa huffed out.

"Sorry," Toshinori sighed, "I just couldn't do it. I wanted to - I really did but what if-"

"What if?! Just go for it! You can't live your life on 'what ifs'. You're the captain! You were the best cop on the streets! You busted 3 yakuza compounds in one day!".

"Arresting criminals, busting crime rings, and managing a small army of cops is easy compared to talking to a woman," Toshinori slumped over. He quickly picked himself up again, "But you're right. I can't live life by 'what ifs'. Tomorrow is a new day,".

The new day was the worst. They came a little later than usual and it made all of the difference. The place was packed and bustling with people. The line was nearly out the door, but the two were willing to wait. Toshinori watched Inko who was a little frantic looking. Suddenly their eyes met. It was just a moment but it felt like forever. She smiled at him and nodded. He nodded back. The line stayed super long even though they got closer to the register. They came to the front and Toshinoris drink was there waiting for him with his name and a smile next to it.

"Hey Inko," Naomasa greeted. Toshinori opened his mouth but Inko interrupted him.

"Hey, you two. Sorry, I can't chat. It's very busy around this time," she punched their cards for the third time and helped the next customer. The two friends walked away from the overfilled coffee shop.

"That sucked," Naomasa pouted.

"I didn't even get to say hi to her," Toshinori sighed. Naomasa perked up and smiled.

"Tomorrow is a-" Toshinori put his finger on his lips. "Don't jinx it,".

The next day came. The two police officers walked into the coffee shop, just 10 minutes after she opened, making sure there wasn't a big crowd. Izuku, the green-haired son of Inkos' was sweeping the floor. He looked up, and upon seeing them come alive with energy.

"Captain Yagi!" He yelled out.

"Quit you're yell'n, shitnerd," Katsuki, the blond boyfriend of Izuku, growled from behind the counter. Katsuki walked in front of the counter wiping his hands with a rag on his apron.

"Kacchan, don't call me that," Izuku huffed. Katsuki rolled his eyes and kissed his cheek.

"No," Katsuki answered.

"Captain Yagi, Naomasasan! Welcome! You two are very early," Inko came up from the back.

"Inko," Toshinori smiled warmly.

"Inkosan," Naomasa greeted, "what's today's newest concoction?" Inko chuckled.

"S'mores Frappuccino," she rolled her eyes. Toshinori cringed at the sound of it.

"Sounds sugary, I'm in," he gave her a thumbs up.

"I can't stand that sweet shit," Katsuki groaned.

"Katsukikun, don't swear," Inko scolded.

"I'm not a fan either. I drink it black," Toshinori talked to the teen.

"I drink mine black too," Katsuki smirked.

"He tries to," Izuku popped in.

"Shut it," Katuski squished Izukus freckled cheeks.

Toshinori chuckled. He suddenly found himself face to face with Inko.

"Good morning," he smiled.

"Good morning," she pushed his drink to him. It, again, was labeled with 'Yagi' and had a smile on it. He paid for his drink, she punched the fourth hole, and the two left.

"Are you an idiot?!" Naomasa yelled as they walked to the station.

"What?" Toshinori is a clueless idiot.

"You didn't even try to ask her out!" Toshinori slapped his face.

"Damn," he grumbled, "the boys distracted me,".

The next day Toshinori and Naomasa went in around the same time as the day before. Inko was stocking the pastry display. Toshinori thought she looked just as sweet as the treats around her. She looked at him and smiled. She pulled her head but hit it on the way out.

"Ow," she muttered and rubbed her head with her cheeks slightly blushed.

"Are you alright?" Toshinori asked. Naomasa worried as well.

"Oh, yes. Just a little bump. Nothing to worry about," she waved him off. She paused and looked at him. "Oh, actually, would you mind looking if there's a cut, Captain Yagi?"

"Yes, no problem,"

Inko walked around the counter and turned her back to Toshinori. He gently separated her thick hair. He had never been this close to her. He couldn't help but have her smell scent. It was minty. It calmed him. Her scalp was a little red but nothing was serious.

"Everything looks great," He smiled. She turned around and sandwiched his hands in hers. She looked in his eyes.

"Thank you. I was a little worried there," she blushed. She held his hand for a moment longer. Toshinori didn't want her to let go. He wanted to have her hold his hand like this forever.

Unfortunately, someone came in startling Inko into letting go. She walked around the counter and poured him his drink, wrote his name on it, and punched his card for the fifth time.

Naomasa and Toshinori's day off matched up and were today. They went to Inkos shop much later to miss the early morning rush. They came in and there was only a couple of girls in there. Izuku and Katsuki were talking to them. Izuku looked up to the two officers and smiled, almost like he was relieved. He excused himself and walked up to them.

"You're late!" he looked at them.

"Late?" Naomasa scoffed, "what do you mean?"

"Not you, Captain Yagi," Izuku clarified. Toshinori laughed.

"I apologize, young Izuku," he paused and looked around, "is your mom around?" Toshinori asked. Izuku nodded and turned around,

"Mom, customer!" he yelled to the back. "She'll be just a minute,".

"Why is he late but I'm not?" Naomasa asked, a little insulted. Izuku just gave him a smile. A smile that told him everything. "Oh," Naomasa smirked and nodded.

Toshinori would have spoken up about their wordless conversation, but Inko came out from the back. Not really smiling but then she saw Toshinori. Her face lit up and a smile quickly grew on her face.

"Captain Yagi! You came today! I was worried I wouldn't be able to see you," she blushed.

"Oh, it's my day off," he gestured to his civilian clothes.

"I can see that," she giggled into her hand, "I'm glad you look just as handsome out of uniform,". Toshinori blushed hard.

"W-well th-thank you! You look amazing as always!" He honestly didn't know what to say.

"Oh, you," she smiled even wider, "I was worried I scared you off,".

"Inko, there's no way you could," he replied. Naomasa's chest swelled, hoping he would go for it. It was a nearly perfect situation. They stood in silence looking at each other.

"Mom?" Izuku leaned in, smiling.

"Oh, yes, your regular, right?" Inko asked.

"Oh, yeah," he nodded. The teen and the rookie groaned and rolled their eyes.

She punched his card for the sixth time and they all left.

The two police officers entered the coffee shop early. There were a few others in there unlike yesterday, but it was still very early. Inko waved at them and turned around pouring the black coffee for Toshinori. She wrote on it and pushed it to him. He took it and paid. He looked at his name and the little cutesy smile. She punched the seventh hole in his card as he looked at his name on the cup.

"There you go, Captain Yagi," she handed the little card back. He took it and paused.

"Inko?"

"Yes?" Her eyes sparkled.

"I ah... You can call me Toshinori- if you feel comfortable with that," he not so casually shrugged. Naomasa leaned on the counter taking his drink from Izuku. He gestured for Izuku to watch his mom and the captain.

"Oh, really? I would love to!" She held her hand out to his drink, "let me fix it,". Toshinori gave his drink back and she wrote on it again. This time when he got his drink it said 'Toshinori" with a little heart next to it. The old blonde man's face turned into a tomato as if he was hit with a magic spell that burned his face and the tips of his ears.

"Thanksforthedrink, haveaniceday!" he shouted awkwardly and left his coworker alone in the coffee shop. Izuku gave Naomasa a smirk.

The next day Toshinori didn't even want to go back in after making a fool of himself the day before. Naomasa laughed it off.

"You'll be fine! I bet she didn't even notice you completely freak out in a public space," he joked. Toshinori gave him 'the glare' that he gave cops who got on his last nerve. It didn't frighten his friend though. "Aw, come on Mr. Grumpy pants," Naomasa smiled, "you still have a few days to ask her before I get a date myself," he acted like he was straightening a tie.

"That's it! I'm asking her today!" Toshinori decided.

"That's great! Because we're here," they walked up to the coffee shop with blooming flowers and a wooden facade. Toshinori walked in, chest puffed out, and walked in as if he owned the place. Izuku and Katsuki were the only ones up front again. Izuku looked at Katsuki and nodded.

"Hey- extra, come here," Katsuki called out. Toshinori and Naomasa looked at each other, then at Katsuki. "The dark-haired one," he clarified. Naomasa walked over to him and started chatting with the two teens. Toshinori looked back to the register, seeing Inko there with his drink ready for him.

His knees wobbled, his forehead had beads of sweat forming, and his fingers twitched and fidgeted.

"How are you doing this morning?" She asked.

"G-good! How is it going for you?" he asked as well.

"Oh, well not too well. I was planning to go to the movies tonight after I close up, but I accidentally bought two tickets when I only needed one!" she rolled her eyes, "too bad I don't have anyone to go with me so the ticket doesn't go to waste," she looked at him in his sunken blue eyes.

"Oh, you have plans for tonight," Toshinori sighed a little defeated.

"Yes, but I'll be completely alone... by myself... with no one to talk to," she looked away and frowned.

"Well, don't worry too much," Toshinori perked up and bopped himself on his forehead, "you can go with Izukuchan!" Inko smiled and blinked.

"Oh... yes,"

"That way you won't be alone and the ticket won't be worthless!" Toshinori smiled. The three onlookers, Izuku, Katsuki, and Naomasa, all groaned.

"That would be nice. A son and mother date," Inkos smile brightened up a little, "thank you for the idea,". Toshinori nodded and got his card punched for the eighth time.

Naomasa refused to talk to him for the next few hours, claiming his own brain cells were dying because of Toshinori.

They came in as normal and saw the three workers getting the shop ready for the incoming morning rush. Katsuki hit Izukus side and turned his attention to the two officers. Izuku waved Naomasa over and he went to chat with the two kids. Inko came around from the counter to talk to Toshinori.

"I have to thank you, Toshinori," Inko started.

"Why is that?"

"Well, you told me to take Izuku to the movie and it was so fun. I work with him everyday but I lost touch that he's my boy," she touched her chest, "It was so nice catching up with him. It was also nice to go out on a date again... Well, it wasn't a real date but it felt good,".

"When's the last time you've been on a date?" Toshinori put his hands up, "I just wonder because I haven't been on a date since high school,".

"Oh, my last date was probably when I told my ex I was pregnant with Izuku," she laughed and looked away, "That didn't go very well,".

"Not in you're top ten?" He joked.

"No. He pretty much dumped me there in the restaurant and locked me out of his compound. Even sent his goons to stalk me so I wouldn't take him to court," she held her body, a little worried. This triggered Toshinoris police instinct.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Oh, well.." she paused, "don't tell Izuku this but his father was a yakuza. He was the crime boss of a big crime ring," she sighed, "I was young and thought dangerous was exciting but I learned my lesson. Hisashi was a monster," she shivered.

Toshinori froze. It wasn't possible. How could it be?

"Hisashi Midoriya?" he asked her. Inko lowered her head.

"So you heard of him?" she sighed.

"He put a jacketed hollow point bullet in my stomach," Toshinori held his side. Inko gasped and teared up.

"I'm so, so sorry,".

"No, no, no," Toshinori didn't what to ever see her cry, "don't worry. It was such a long time ago. Before I even became captain," he sighed, "he was a very bad man. And one day I'll be able to catch him but you are lucky. He would have hurt you. And-" he grabbed her hands, "I don't ever want to see you hurt," Inko blushed and smiled.

"He did give me one good thing," she looked over to her son who was gawking at the two as well as Katsuki and Naomasa. He looks so much like him, and I can see some of Hisashi's mannerisms in him, but he's nothing like him. He loves people with all of his heart, believes theres good in everyone, and wants to save the world one day. He's the exact opposite of Hisashi," Inko explained.

"Well, you raised him to be better. Without you, who knows where Izuku might have ended up," Toshinori smiled. Inko looked down and blushed. She let go of his hands and back behind the counter, leaving Toshinoris hands feeling empty and cold.

"Sorry for blubbering. I'll get your drink ready now,". She gave him his drink and punched his card for the ninth time. "Oh," she looked at the card, "looks like your next one is free,".

"So it is... Hey Inko?" Suddenly the door opened and a flood of people all came in. Inko looked over his shoulder.

"Oh, no. Here's the rush," she looked back to him, "I'll see you tomorrow," she nodded and helped the next customer.

Nasomasa walked with Toshinori to the station, listening to him recalling what Inko told him.

"Hisashi Midoriya? Are you sure?" The young dark-haired man asked.

"She knew he was yakuza," Toshinori put his hand on his face, "we were lousy with diry cops because of him,".

"I remember watching the 'clean house' the commissioner did to your department on the news. I was so worried that you were a bad cop,".

"There were times I was tempted, I won't lie, But now I'm happy that I never took any offers. Inko deserves better,".

"Inko deserves for you to ask her out!" Naomasa blurted out.

"I'm not sure I should," Toshinori sighed.

"What?! Why!"

"Because what if the guys find out she's Midoriyas ex? They might think-"

"That you're dirty?" Naomasa interrupted.

"No, that she's working for Midoriya. I don't care if they think I'm dirty. But I don't want them to think badly of her and Izuku. She's an amazing woman who made a mistake. She shouldn't have to carry that around for her whole life,".

"Then don't let it. Ask. Her. Out," Naomasa growled. Toshinori sighed. Toshinori pulled out his punch card.

"Tomorrow's my free drink,".

"Ask her when you get there- before she even writes your name on the cup," Naomasa smiled, "or else!" he threatened.

Toshinori tossed and turned all night. Worried about how he would ask her, how she would react. He really liked her but she could have just been being friendly. He was just reading into her actions. Toshinori shook it off. He had to try.

The sun was coming up in a few minutes. Toshinori wore a coat over his uniform. Naomasa said he didn't need a coat, but his coffee would warm him up. They entered the shop. No customers were there yet. Inko looked over her shoulder and smiled. She poured his drink into a cup that was already written on. Naomasa hung around Izuku and Katsuki, all of them waiting on him. His hands trembled.

"Ah, Inko," his voice was just above a whisper.

"Toshinori?" she asked.

His throat was dry and his heart was pounding.

"Inko, I was wondering-" he licked his lips. She looked at him with a gentle and sweet smile. "I was wondering if you would like to... go out... and getmeanewpunchcard," Inkos smile dropped. Toshinori blushed and turned around, "You don't have any okay no problem, see you tomorrow!" He tried to escape. Naomasas grabbed his coat and pulled him back.

"Inkosan," Naomasa started, "Would you like to go on a date with me?" Toshinori sighed and the two teens huffed. Inko stood there a little shocked.

"Oh, Naomasasan," Inko looked at her fingers, "I would like to-" Toshinoris face dropped. He was upset his friend got to it first. Toshinori wouldn't care if she dated a hundred men before him, that wasn't it. He was disappointed in himself for not having the courage to ask this beautiful woman out.

"I really would," Inko continued, "But... I already asked someone out," Both Naomasa and Toshinoris hearts broke. After pining so hard for her, she was interested in someone else.

"Oh," Toshinori smiled softly, sadly. "Well, have a good day Inko,". Toshinori got out of his friends grip and left the shop. Naomasa left a moment after, not holding a drink in his hand.

Toshinoris' head lowered looking at the ground. Naomasa caught up to him and looked at his friend. He opened his mouth but didn't say anything. They crossed the street in a slow pace, depressed and upset.

"I shouldn't have even tried," Toshinori looked to Naomasa, "She's too good for someone whose job is their life. I guess It was never meant to be," he drank his coffee.

"I'm sorry Tosh. I really... I really wanted you to have this,".

"Nah," he drank the rest of his cup, "I couldn't do it. She probably wouldn't want a coward like me anyways," he looked at his cup.

"Toshinori, 3 Plz, go out with me!" It said on the cup. He sighed and tossed the cup in a communal trash bin he passed. He took three steps before stopping in his tracks. He dashed to the bin and drug through it.

"Tosh! What are you doing?" Naomasa asked. Toshinori held the cup in the air triumphantly. Naomasa stared at him. Toshinori practically shoved the cup in his friend's face.

"LOOK!" He shouted so loud people stared at him. Naomasa grabbed the cup and looked at it. His face grew into a big smile.

"Well, don't just stand there- go give her an answer," Naomasa shoved Toshinori back towards the coffee shop. Toshinori ran back to the shop. He ran into the door not remembering that it was a pull door, not a push one. Inko was sitting at a table with Izuku and Katsuki beside her. They looked at the idiot who just ran into a glass door. He rubbed his face as he walked in. He held up the cup and Inkos dreary face lit up.

"I-I will! I want to go on a-" Toshinori realized he was yelling, "I will- do out - I want to go out with you," he said in a much calmer, but dumber tone. Izuku uttered "yes" under his breath. Katsuki rolled his eyes with a slight smirk. Inko smiled and walked up to him.

"I was hoping you would ask me out but then you didn't seem too interested and I was afraid that I scared you off yesterday by talking about my exhusband. I didn't know he hurt you like that, if I did I wouldn't have even tried but you are just so handsome and nice-"

"Auntie Inko, your muttering," Katsuki was used to this behavior from this family.
