Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I welcome you all to my Danmachi/FateStayNight Fanfic Story!

But before you all begin, there are some things I need to tell you all first. The Title and Description of this story are a bit of working progress. So feel free to make certain suggestions, but don't bash the story or me directly.

Second, If any of you requested that I continue this story. That will only happen when I finish the first season of my 'The Day She Became the Malevolent Demon Lord' story and 'Danmachi' has the most votes in the third poll. (For Fanfiction Users; the Poll is found in my account. For Wattpad users; Prelude of The Day She Became the Malevolent Demon Lord)

As for the Servants that may appear in this story. It'll be tricky, but I try to do what I can.

That is all I can say for now, and Enjoy the Prologue!

Somewhere on the 4th Floor

By the dark corridors of the 3rd Floor was a young but bruised adventurer lying against the wall while clutching onto a large wound across her right arm.

The young adventurer was a little girl with short blonde hair, and emerald green eyes. Her clothes of consisted a dark purple sleeveless top, black tights pants, a black belt with a small book strapped sideways onto her left waist, a pair of curved daggers on her right, a small tattered pouch, and a hooded cloak.

However, she soon cared little about her robe as she grabbed one end of the robe and forcefully ripped off a piece of it.

Then she bit hard on one end of the torn cloth and wrapped it around her wounded arm. Once she tightens it, she urged herself to not scream from the pain before spitting out the cloth from her mouth.

She pants to herself and gently presses the back of her head against the wall. That's when she reminiscences her folly.

Flashback

It began with a simple exploration of the dungeon. Due to her experience as well as the information she gathered from adventurers. She finds herself wandering on the 5th Floor of the Dungeon.

Though she may have encountered a few ferocious Killer Ants, she either evades them or kills them for their magic stones.

As she went a bit further down, she soon finds herself in an area where there were a few tunnels leading in separate directions.

Instead of going any further down the floor, she pulls out a small notebook from her pouch and wrote something down. Then she turns away and prepares to leave.

But when she heard hissing noises on one of those tunnels, she momentarily stops and turned her head around as a dark tunnel echoed the noises to her.

A few moments later, a pack of Killer Ants emerged from the tunnel and set their sights on her.

That's when she tuck tail and run as the Killer Ants not only chased her but also emitted a sound that echoed through the tunnels ahead of them.

As she ran through the tunnels, her eyes widen when a few Killer Ants blocked her path.

Thus, she resorted is drastic measures by pulling out her daggers and focused on the ants in front of her.

The First Killer Ant charges toward her with its mandibles. but due to her short height, she slid beneath it before it latches its mandibles onto her and sliced through the legs to disable it.

Once she recovered her footing, the Second Killer Ant came into the fray and attempted to catch her. But the Young Adventurer jumps up in the air, lands on its back, and jumps off before it could shake her off.

The Third and Fourth Killer Ant were unavoidable as they covered the sides. Thus, the Young Adventurer resorted to a risky tactic by throwing one of her daggers into the Third Killer Ant's eye and grabbing a few balls of smoke bombs from her pouch.

She then threw it towards the middle of the two Killer Ants and the smoke envelops them.

With the ants being blind by the smoke, she took the opportunity to run her way through the Killer Ants. But one of them went too wild and one of its mandibles lashed right across her right arm.

She cries out in pain before stumbling to the ground. But she quickly picked herself up and ran before the smoke clears up.

End of Flashback

After that close encounter, she made her way back up to the 4th Floor and hoped that the Killer Ants wouldn't follow her there.

Once they didn't, she knew she was in the clear but reaching the surface wasn't going to be easy as there were still a few monsters lurking about on the 4th Floor and above.

She can still fight with one able arm, but she wouldn't stand a chance against a group of monsters. Thus, she could only curse her luck and hiss from the pain.

'Keep yourself together... You can do it,' The Young Adventurer muttered and forces herself to stand.

But just as she cursed her luck, she heard cackling nearby and turns to the source. There, she saw a pair of goblins with slobbering mouths and weapons on hand.

"Great..." The Young Adventurer muttered, and pulled out her only dagger with her abled arm,

But before the goblins could get the chance to attack, one of them was soon killed by an unexpected newcomer. As for The Second Goblin, it was unable to react in a split second when the newcomer slice through its neck with his knife and vanished like all monsters.

After the goblins were completely disposed of, she and this newcomer stared at each other. Not knowing what to say to each other...

It's short, I know. But this is all I could think of since I never planned on making it long in the first place.

But rest assured, when I work on the official chapters. They will be longer than the prologue.

Oh, and a bit of a side note, This story is published alongside my Gate/FateStayNight Story since I planned to showcase the top two stories when I finished writing the 11th Chapter of my 'The Day She Became the Malevolent Demon Lord' story.
