Long before Percy Jackson, the daughter of Zeus and Hera was born, named Selena and created as a hope and a protection for the gods in case something bad happens. Her sister Eris, jealous, threw her into the world of humans. She had to face challenges living as a "human" for thousand years. She saves Annabeth and Percy from vampires and meets Camp Half-Blood.

14. Chapter 15

Months later:

During months after the ball, Meredith and Katherine Lavotisky got closer to the Gilberts. Jeremy started dating Meredith and Selena started a friendship with Katherine. But, recently, something has been bothering Katherine about being friends with Selena. Wherever they go, people only see Selena. Katherine knows she is their princess, is beautiful and has a good heart. However, Katherine still continues being the excluded one because Selena always directs her attention more to other people. This situation is irritating Katherine very much.

Selena and Katherine are walking around the village now, with 2 knights behind them. Selena always comes to the village whenever she can. There is a baker that lets her borrow books from his library. In exchange, she helps the baker with cakes and breads. He says it's not necessary but Selena always insists. She likes to learn and do new and different things, like cooking for example. Many people end up buying the cakes and breads later because the baker is friends with the princess Selena, who everyone adores.

So, here they are now. Katherine and Selena stop in front of the baker's place. Selena knocks on the door and waits. The Baker opens the door and sees Selena:

- Hey, Selena! How are you? - The baker Charles asks

- I'm fine, and you sir? - Selena asks

- I'm fine too. Would you like to enter? - The baker asks already stepping aside for Selena.

- Thanks! Come on, Kat! - Selena says while leading Katherine inside the place

- This place looks incredible as the last time I came here - Selena says

- Thanks! Would you like something? - The baker asks Selena

- No, thank you! I would just like to return a book - Selena says handing him a book about the sleeping beauty

- Oh! Thanks. Did you like it? - The baker asks

- Very much. What I just didn't like was the villain. Who could do such a thing to a baby? - Selena asks a little frustrated

- You are talking about Maleficent. She was one of the most dangerous creatures to ever exist. Many people say she is dead. But, between us here, I just think she is hiding somewhere - The baker says

- Really? Interesting thought, because I believe in it too - Selena says while smiling

- Well, that just shows we think alike - The baker says

- You're right. Before I leave, could I help you baking the cake? - Selena asks while looking at the old man preparing himself to bake a cake.

- You know that is not necessary, right? You shouldn't dirt your hands - The baker says

- I know, but I wanna do it - Selena says

- Alright - The baker says while sighing

Katherine, who was watching the interaction and wasn't noticed by the baker, thought while rolling her eyes:

"Just Great"
