Calleigh tucked a stray strand of her blonde hair back behind her ear. "I'm listening…" She said patiently.

Eric took one final deep breath. "Calleigh, I've been waiting so long, and I've been going back and forth for a while now, but the honest truth is, I can't stop thinking about you Calleigh. You mean so much to me."

Calleigh stood there, dumbfounded, Did Eric just say that…? Or am I just imagining again?

"Eric." She whispered, reaching over to touch his arm. Before Calleigh said another word, Eric softly touched her face and had already leaned in and kissed her.

She was caught off guard but immediately sunk into his delicate arms. This was where Calleigh belonged, she was sure of it.

Eric pushed himself away a moment later, his lungs were begging for air. "Calleigh… I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that…" He rambled.

"Don't be." Calleigh put into words, as she leaned in for another deep kiss.

She could feel Eric's arms around her waist, pulling her closer ever so slightly.

The two were pressed against each other, and it felt completely natural.

Although this is what Calleigh had been dreaming of, she hesitantly pulled away for a second, What about the lab? What about Horatio… She thought, I love my job, I don't want to risk it all.

Eric saw Calleigh tense and pulled away. But, I love Eric too… She reminded herself.

Calleigh attempted to smile at Eric, "It's getting late. I'll see you around." Eric chuckled to himself, "Aren't you forgetting something?"

"Hm?" She muttered. Eric chimed in, "I'll have to drive you back to the lab so you can get your car."

"Right." She added, "Thanks for having me over… by the way." They got into Eric's car and drove back to the lab so Calleigh could drive herself home.

What happened back there? She thought. I shouldn't have pulled away like that. I might've just messed everything up…

That night Calleigh tossed and turned in her bed. Every thought that popped into her head involved Eric. She wanted him, she needed him.

Eric… She thought to herself, I'm sorry.

The sun finally rose (after what felt like hours for Calleigh). She was already there when Eric arrived.

Eric wanted to feel like they had a special moment last night, but after the abrupt stop, he still felt like Calleigh wasn't telling him her honest feelings.

Eric and Calleigh weren't paired up that day, but they met up in the break room, "Cal. Are you okay? Did you get any sleep last night?" Eric asked.

Calleigh, who wasn't looking the best, was only running on 5 measly hours of sleep. "I'm fine, I guess. It was just a long night for me."

"Do you need any help? I want you to know I'm always here for you." He comforted.

Calleigh blushed. Even through all the emotions Eric put her through, she couldn't hide the fact that her face was turning bright shades of pink.

"I'm fine Eric." She calmly replied, getting lost in Eric's handsome brown eyes.

Eric took her hands and held them in his, "Let me know if there's anything I can do." He soothed.

Calleigh's heart melted every time he did that. He was the only guy in the whole world who could make her feel like that.

"There is something…" She added. Eric glanced up at her. She was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, her seafoam green eyes stared at him with a look of innocence and desire.

Calleigh leaned closer to him, wrapping her hands around his neck, and closing her eyes until her lips touched his.

She didn't care anymore if they were caught kissing. She needed to be with Eric.

Eric grabbed Calleigh's head gently with his hands, their lips still intertwined.

Calleigh couldn't stop breathing any longer, and leaned back, catching her breath.

She looked away from Eric, full of guilt. But Eric lifted her head back at him, "Cal. It's going to be fine."

"I know but we shouldn't–" She started rambling, but got interrupted, "Then we'll find a way around it." Eric opposed, "We'll do it together."

Calleigh felt her knees go weak, she found Eric's soft nature quite attractive.

She stood herself up properly and glanced at her watch, "I have to get back to the lab," She said, starting to head towards the ballistics lab, "See you around I guess." She smirked.

Eric found himself smiling when she left, he wanted to be with Calleigh every moment of the day but had to return back to his work.

I'm going to make more chapters and more books so please stay tuned! Also, a review would help so I can make changes to my stories. And again, thank you so much for reading!
