Much like how her apparent first date with him went, Quinn didn't know what to say or do with herself. She felt so embarrassed now, realizing that all those times, she assumed his sweet gestures were nothing but a ploy to get in her pants. According to Lola, it seemed that he had feelings for her long before they first hooked up. If that's true, why did he never say anything? Was it because she was with Mark? Is that why he seemed to hate the guy so much? She had so many questions.

Shaking her head of these thoughts, she tried to appear like she wasn't currently having a mental breakdown and seemed interested in what he was saying. Much like their first time out, she let him take control of the conversation. Asking him about his photoshoot and had him explain in great detail the production and planning of it all.

"How are you liking the lobster?" His story about bathing in sun tanning oil ended, and he turned his full attention back onto her.

Jumping a little, she smiled and picked at the bread they had been given. He had taken her to a seaside restaurant, one that she had passed numerous times but had never been to. Mostly because it was out of her price range. "They're fantastic, but did you have to order five of them?" She gestured to the spread of shellfish that littered their table. "Aren't they like a hundred dollars a piece?" She had eaten one already herself, and he was on his second.

"So?" He shrugged his shoulders, not seemingly bothered by the price. He stuck his fork in one of them and happily chewed away on the delicious substance. "Who cares." He waved his miniature fork around, looking very proud of him.

She looked at him, taking in his smile form. She wondered why she never realized he had small dimples in his cheeks that only appeared when he smiled. Seeing this made her smile as well. "You know, I'm having a really good time tonight." She fiddled with her own fork, twirling it around shyly.

Her nervous gesture only made him smirk, "Oh yeah," he propped one arm up on the table, resting his chin against his fist. "Wait until we get home."

His words made her blush. 'Hey, listen," she pushed a lock of hair behind her ear, trying to gather her courage to tell him the truth. He was being open with her, so it was only fair she did the same. "How come we never go back to your place?" Only when she saw his softened features, she chickened out.

He hummed, chewing on a piece of crab cake he ordered along with the lobster. "Don't know," he shrugged, ripping open the tail of his third lobster. "Guess I figured your place was more homey." He twirled his fork around, trying to find the right word. They mostly went back to hers because she was a closer stop on the elevator than his, but he did think that her apartment was more home-like than his. The penthouse he lived in was meant to be admired, but her place was somewhere to be lived in.

Quinn felt her heart jump and stop at the same time. She was touched that her place felt like home to him, but it also made her even more nervous because that meant his feelings for her were so much deeper than she initially thought. "Maybe we could try making your place feel a little more homier?" She smiled softly, not realizing the implication of her words until she said them. It sounded like she was asking to move in with him. That was crazy, though; they had only been seeing each other for a few weeks, and it was way too soon to be moving in together. He would have to agree that it was a crazy notion.

"Yeah?" except by the excited way he sat up in his seat told her that he was more on board with the idea. He shifted in his chair, looking at her with such glee you would think he had just found out Santa was real. As if realizing he was getting too worked up, he cleared his throat and leaned back in his chair to give off that usual cool guy vibe he always had. "I mean, yeah, that'd be cool. We could do that." He cleared his throat again, looking down at his plate of lobster, but she could still see how the corner of his lips twitched from his smile.

Her heart skipped a beat in her chest at the sight. Since when was Logan Reese so cute? She couldn't tell him the truth now! It would break his heart, and she did not want that on her conscience. Maybe she could do it tomorrow, and they could enjoy their time together without any issues for tonight.

Ring Ring

His phone blared out, making him groan as he dug around in his pocket to pull out the device. "It's the stupid photographer again." He sighed, glaring daggers at his phone. He thought about ending the call and sending it to voicemail, but he so did not feel like dealing with the aftermath. He did that once and regretted it.

Giving the girl across from him an apologetic smile, Quinn waved him off. "Take your call, I'll be fine." She gestured to the spread of lobsters that took up most of their table. "It's not like I'll be alone."

Chuckling at her joke, he nodded and walked off to answer the call.

Watching him walk out onto the restaurant's veranda and making sure he was a distance away, Quinn pulled out her phone and quickly called Lola.

"Quinn? Is everything okay?"

The future actress answered after only two rings. The sound of spaceships blistered sounded in the distance as Michael and Chase cheered in unison.

"Lola, this is bad!" She whispered, bringing a hand to cover her mouth and receiver to ensure no one could hear her conversation. "I can't tell him now. He wants us to move in together." The rising star gasped on the other end.

"He asked you to move in with him?!"

Quinn grimaced, realizing her mistake yet again. "Actually, I may have been the one to imply us living together." She could hear her friend snort.

"You mean like how you implied you wanted to be his girlfriend exclusively instead of just being friends with benefits?"

Quinn could easily imagine her friend throwing her head back and laughing at her. "Keep it down. What if Michael and Chase hear you, and they tell Logan?" Her friend gave another laugh.

"Oh please, those two are so into their dumb space movie they forgot I was even here. Besides, after ten minutes, I got bored of it and went exploring around Logan's place instead. Did you know he has four bathrooms!"

Quinn had not known that, and she really hoped he wasn't expecting her to reprogram all of the toilets in his house. Sighing, she flipped her phone over to the other ear and shifted in her chair to get more comfortable but gasped when she saw who was at the restaurant entrance. "Zoey and James are here!" She cried into the receiver.

"No way! Where are you guys?"

Spinning in her chair so her back was facing away from her friend and new boyfriend, she said, "We're at Vaccaro."

"That place has yummy soufflés. Bring me back one!"

"Hey, I want a soufflé! Bring me one too!"

"Yeah, same here!"

"Oh sure, now you guys pay attention when food is mentioned!"

Lola could be heard arguing with their two guy friends, and it drove Quinn mad. "Will you focus!" She hissed into the phone, looking over and groaning when she saw the hostess checking them in. "This is really bad. Zoey doesn't know I'm dating Logan because I didn't know I was dating Logan." Oh god, this whole thing was giving her such a headache. "What if she says something? Logan is going to wonder why I never told my friends."

"Maybe they won't even notice you!"

"Please enjoy your stay while you dine with us here at Vaccaro." If only she wore that lucky. Zoey and James just happened to get seated at the table right next to hers and Logan's.

"Quinn?" Zoey called out, shocked to see her friend.

"I'm guessing they noticed you?"

If only Lola knew the half of it. Shifting in her seat, Quinn gave a big smile to her friend. "Hi, Zoey, James," she gulped, suddenly finding her tongue to be too big for her mouth. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We're on a date," Zoey looked very confused, taking in her friend's appearance and the table full of shellfish. "What are you doing here?"

Quinn groaned, "I was in the mood for some lobster, so…" she sighed, realizing just how idiotic that excuse was.

"So, you ordered five of them?" James asked. He had only met the girl a handful of times, and while he knew she was a bit of an oddball, he didn't realize to this extent. How was it possible for her to eat all of them by herself?

Quinn puckered her lips, trying to devise a decent excuse this time. "Sorry, sweetie," only for her words to be stolen upon the arrival of Logan and the pet name he used for her. "God, that photographer is such a bitch." He sat back down in his seat, putting his napkin over his lap to cover his dress pants. He finally seemed to notice that they were no longer alone. "What are you two doing here?" He asked, shoving another piece of crab cake in his mouth.

"Logan!" Zoey called out, falling to her seat in shock.

James followed suit although he wasn't as surprised as the girl actress from him. "Are you two on a date?"

"Did he just call you sweetie?"

Lola's voice rang out, making the three look around in confusion while Quinn only groaned. "I'll talk to you later." She hung up before her friend could make another sound.

Zoey shook her head and made them focus back on the topic at hand. "There is no way you two are here on a date."

Logan scoffed at her, "I'm having dinner with my girlfriend. What else would we be doing if it's not a date." He could think of a couple of things they could be doing, but he wasn't sure yet just how open Quinn was about her sex life to her friends. Dipping a piece of lobster in melted butter, he shoved it inside his mouth. "Why are you acting so surprised?" He questioned, chewing around the soft, tender meat.

"Because I'm pretty sure if Quinn was dating the biggest pig on the planet, I would have heard about it," Zoey said, giving him a dirty look. She hated it when people talked with their mouths full.

He sneered, ready to bite back with an insult of his own when he realized the implication of her words. "Wait," he turned his attention back to Quinn. "You haven't told her we're dating?"

Quinn, who at this point was trying to come up with a way to evaporate into her hands, gave up and wore a guilty look on her face. "Not exactly," It was hard to tell her friend she was dating someone when she didn't even realize she was in said relationship.

"How come?" He tried to keep a neutral expression on his face, but she could see the hurt in his eyes.

She opened her mouth to speak but was stopped by Zoey. "I'll tell you why," the blonde came to stand alongside her friend at their table. "Because it's not true. Quinn would never lower her standards to be with someone like you."

Her words set off the tiny fuse that was Logan's temper. Slamming his fork down into this lobster, making the shell crack from the sheer force, he stood up himself. "Listen Brooks, why don't you just shut up, be with your little rebound, and go back to living in your own little world."

Zoey gasped, "Excuse me?!" She was not going to let him get away with talking to her like that and giving her an attitude.

"Enough!" Becoming fed up with being between the two, Quinn slammed her napkin down on the table and dragged the blonde girl out of the dining area. "Zoey, come with me."

Logan watched them go, nostrils flaring out as he breathed heavily. Jaw clenched tight together as he tried hard not to explode in the middle of the restaurant.

"Hey," James called to him, realizing he was risking getting screamed at, but he was hungry and knew that with the sudden outburst, the waiters would be staying clear of their table. "Can I have one of your crab cakes?"

A low growl escaped Logan as he all but shoved the plate into the blond's hands and marched off. James watched him go but didn't stop him. It wasn't any of his business, and he figured he might as well enjoy the crab cakes he had been offered.

Quinn had dragged Zoey into the small alcove that was right at the entrance of the restaurant. She didn't even know what she was planning to say to her friend. All she knew was she couldn't stand sitting there, letting the two fight. "Look, Zoey," she sighed, rubbing her aching temples. "It's complicated and-!"

"How could you not tell me you and Logan were dating?" From the fact that the girl wasn't denying it or trying to disprove the accusations, said that what she heard in the dining area was true. Quinn tried to open her mouth to speak but was cut off once again. "Are you insane? What were you thinking, agreeing to date Logan?" Once again, she tried to get a word in, and again, she was cut off. "This is Logan! The guy who made a bingo card of how many girls he could sleep with that had different hair colors."

Quinn sighed, "I am well aware of their bingo card." She huffed, crossing her arms when she remembered that display of arrogance, how he had walked up to them at the bar and made a bingo card sheet with faces of different girls, all with various hair colors. One girl even had rainbow hair. At the time, she thought it was disgusting, and now, she still thinks it was disgusting.

"So why are you with him?" Zoey asked, finally calming down enough to let her friend speak.

"Because I want to be!" It was plain and simple as that. Even before this whole dating fiasco, she wanted to be with Logan just because. The sex was good, and he made her feel good about herself.

Zoey sighed, crossing her arms and pouting. "If that's true, why didn't you tell me?" She shifted her weight from one foot to the other. The heels she wore for tonight were meant for sitting down, not standing. "Did you think I would judge you, 'cause I wouldn't have!"

"Oh, please!" Logan appeared from behind them, walking over to throw a protective arm around Quinn's shoulder. "You've done nothing but judge her since you saw us together." He scoffed, frowning at the blonde who glared back at him. He hadn't heard all of their conversation, but he heard the part where Quinn said she wanted to be with him. "Admit it, if Quinn told you the truth, you would have judged her nonstop for being with me."

Zoey clenched her teeth together; sometimes, she wished she could punch his stupid face. "I would not have," she was not that type of friend. She was a good person, and if her friend was happy with someone, she would support them. "I would, however, point out that I think she's making a mistake going out with a guy who thinks girls are meant to stay home while the men do all the work." It was no secret that Logan was a bit of a sexist jerk. He used to make comments like that all the time.

"Hey, Quinn can do whatever she wants. I wouldn't stop her." He may have been raised to believe that girls should stay home while it was the man's role to provide, but he wouldn't prevent Quinn from doing what she loves. If she wanted to work and be a scientist forever, he would support her.

"Okay, that's enough." Quinn stepped forward to place herself in between the two before another fight broke out. As it was, the entire restaurant was looking at them. Sighing, she composed herself and turned to face her friend and once college roommate. "Zoey, I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but it's true. Logan and I are dating." She couldn't lie anymore. Maybe she hadn't realized it herself either, but she had been dating the guy in secret. So, secret that even she didn't know it.

Zoey was taken aback; a part of her still believed that Quinn would say it was some sick joke or that this was all some weird experiment. "How come you never said anything?"

"Because I wanted to enjoy our time together before we brought our friends into the mix." It was part of the truth. That had been what she prepared to say to their group of friends if any of them realized they had been sleeping together. "I just wanted time to be with him without anyone giving me their opinion, or judging us, or giving us abuse for being together." She knew how the others would react if they ever found out. Before this, everyone had assumed they hated each other. She had assumed the same and believed he couldn't stand her. These last few weeks together said things were not how she thought they were. From how not only Lola handled the knowledge but also the easy way Michael and Chase seemed to accept them, said that she had misjudged a lot more about their relationship than she thought.

Zoey looked at her friend, glancing back and forth between her and the male model that, just days ago, she swore was the worst human on the planet. She looked over her friend's appearance, how she seemed to put in so much more effort into her look than she ever did with Mark. How her eyes were glazed over, her cheeks were flushed, and she had the goofiest smile on her face. "Quinn, I'm sorry." Knowing this wasn't her battle to fight, she threw her arms around her friend's form and gave her a big hug. "I didn't mean to make you feel like you had to hide your relationship. If Logan makes you happy," she paused, looking at the guy. "And you're sure he makes you happy?" The nod was all she needed to confirm. "Then I'm happy for you." With one last hug, she bid the couple farewell and headed back to her table.

Now that the Zoey situation was taken care of, Quinn had one more hurdle to clear. Turning on her heel, she spun around to face Logan. "I'm sorry about what happened in there,"

"Don't worry about it," he waved her off, giving her a kind and easygoing smile. He took her hand in his, swaying them between their bodies. "Can't really say I blame you for keeping her in the dark."

He was half right. She had no problems telling Lola about her sleeping with Logan, but she knew telling Zoey would open up a whole can of worms she hadn't been willing to deal with. "Maybe let's not tell her she was the last to know." Lola knew from the start, and Logan had told Michael and Chase. Zoey was the last one of their immediate group to find out.

He hissed, already thinking of the tantrum she would throw if she ever learned that. "It'll be our little secret." He rubbed his nose against hers.

She giggled, happily returning the gesture. She had one more little secret from him, but she would tell him another day. Tonight had brought up too much drama, and she didn't want to add any more. "Seems like dinner was kind of a bust." She felt bad. He went through the trouble of taking her somewhere he knew she wanted to go, and because of her friend, the night was ruined. They could always return to their seats, but it felt too awkward to do that. "We could go back to my place, maybe watch a movie?"

"I'd like that," he pulled her closer, bringing her body so that she was pressed against his chest. "I can spend the night, and, in the morning, I'll treat you to breakfast."

Smiling, she wrapped her arms around his waist. "How about we make breakfast together? I'll whip up some chocolate chip pancakes for us."

His smile seemed to soften at her words. "That sounds nice." He leaned forward to kiss her, starting off slow and steady before growing in desire. She tilted her head back, allowing him more access to her mouth and letting his tongue dominate hers.

"Excuse me," they parted ways when the hostess at the podium was giving them a hard stare. "We aren't that kind of establishment."

Rolling his eyes, Logan pushed her towards the door. "Put our dinner on my tab," he waved them off, not caring about the platter of lobsters or dessert that was waiting for them at the table. He had something more important to focus on.

"Wait," Quinn nearly forgot. Swinging around, she walked up to the podium and sweetly asked, "Can we get one soufflé to go?"
