"So, everybody knows now?" Lola joined her best friend on the oversized L-shaped couch in Logan's living room. The weekend had arrived again, and she invited the girl over to spend some time with her. They felt like even though they were hiding a secret relationship that wasn't so secret, they barely got to see each other and hang out.

Quinn nodded, "Seems like it." After they had gotten back from the restaurant, they had returned to her apartment. From there, she turned on a movie and snuggled up with him on the couch, which lasted all about five minutes until they were ripping each other's clothes off and defiling her couch once again. As promised, she made him pancakes in the morning, and he helped brew the coffee. They briefly chatted about their plans before he asked her to go furniture shopping with him. It turned into a whole day of him having her pick out what stuff she wanted to keep in his apartment. She mostly just had him buy food since he mainly ordered or ate out or gobbled up what she and their friends made. There were a few trinkets here and there that she picked up if only to make him stop grabbing random expensive items.

Lola hummed, grabbing another spoonful of soufflé and sighing in contentment. Her friend hadn't let her down and brought it back for her. Logan even had a particular machine to heat it up just right so you'd get the taste as if you were eating it at the restaurant. "What happens now?" She gestured to the outlandish penthouse suite that used to scream bachelor pad but now had traces of her friend's presence everywhere. Throw pillows and blankets on the couch, little knickknacks on the coffee tables, and a fridge stocked full of science genius's favorite foods.

"I'm not really sure," Quinn took a bite of the delicious dessert. Sucking on the spoon as she lounged around on the big couch in her sweatpants and an old hoodie of his. "I guess we keep doing what we've been doing and see where it goes from there."

Lola grinned, "You mean dating?"

"Yes," Quinn sighed, though there was no malice in her gesture. Only the humor she found in the whole situation. "Logan and I are dating."

"Hmm," Lola hummed, sticking her spoon back in the pastry. "Gross."

"Hey, sweetie," Logan stuck his head out of his home office, a mini headset in one ear.

She lifted herself off the couch a bit to look at him. "Yes, baby?"

"Which would you prefer, hot or cold?" He asked, a big grin coming onto his face at the question.

She thought about it momentarily. "Cold, I guess." Seemingly happy with her answer, he went back inside her office.

"Baby?" Lola couldn't help but laugh. "He's letting you call him baby?"

"He's the one who asked," Quinn gestured to the partially closed office door with her thumb. "After the whole restaurant fiasco, he asked why I would call Mark that and not him."

Lola gaped; dessert was long forgotten now at this new piece of relationship gossip. "And what did you tell him?"

"The truth," Quinn shrugged, not seeing the being deal in the matter. "I told him I didn't think he would like the nickname, much less the same one I used to call my ex-boyfriend." She had used the term of endearment with Mark in hopes it would strengthen their bond as a real couple. She wondered briefly if that had been another bandaid she had put on to try and salvage their relationship without realizing it. "He said so long as I only call him that, he wants the title."

"Nighttime or daytime?" Logan stuck his head out again, asking her another question.

She gave him a confused look but still answered. "Nighttime."

"Speaking of the truth," Lola reached to grab her phone off the coffee table. "After Chase and Michael spilled the beans, I did a little investigating." Scrolling through her phone, she pulled open her photos app and found the images she wanted. Turning the device around, she started swiping on her screen. "Logan has way too many photos of himself, but he does have a few of us. Notice anything special about them." She gave a knowing wink.

Quinn looked at the screen, staring at the newest image being displayed. It was another group shot of the six of them. They had gone camping and wanted to celebrate not dying on what they all believed to be a haunted campsite. "Not really." She didn't see what was so special about this picture and the other ones that her friend swiped through on her photo album.

Sighing, Lola turned her phone around to zoom in. "All the pictures he has of us are ones where either you two are standing together, or he has his arms wrapped around you," she pointed to them, standing side by side with the red-stained mountains behind them. Lola remembered that day very well. She had tried to stand in the middle, but he shoved her out of the way, claiming he was the one with the face for the camera. Back then, she assumed it was his ego talking and didn't think anything of it. That was a classic Logan move they had all become accustomed to. However, after learning he had a thing for her best friend, she looked closer at the photo. Eyes zeroing in on the big smile he wore, how there was a polite distance between where she stood next to him on his left side, and the way he draped an arm over Quinn's shoulder, seemingly trying to be as close as possible without looking too obvious.

Quinn felt her eyebrows reside into her hairline. "You don't think…" She knew now that he had developed feelings for her when she was still with Mark, but just for how long, she didn't know. Part of her wanted to ask, but the other part of her was scared to. Afraid to find out the true depths of his feelings for her when she was still unsure of what she felt. She knew she wanted to be with him. That much she had come to terms with when she thought they were just sleeping together. Upon learning he believed they were dating, she accepted that she enjoyed being his girlfriend and wanted to continue to be.

It was so strange to her. Nearly two months ago, she could barely stand to be around him, and now she was looking forward to their next dinner date. There was a part of her that was always attracted to him. Perhaps even a little jealousy on her part from seeing how he'd go out of his way to woo over the girls he flirted with while she had to grab Mark to hold his hand practically. She hadn't been completely honest with Lola about everything she felt when she and Logan first started. While she did enjoy exploring her new sexual freedom, she also secretly gushed to herself how he treated her. It was what she had wished Mark would do, and now she was finally experiencing it. She was happy with what she had with Logan.

Maybe that was the real reason she didn't want to end things. She was happy with him. Even if she didn't want to admit it to herself in the beginning, she was now.

She knew that she needed to tell him the truth sooner rather than later. That all this time, she thought they were only friends with benefits. However, part of her wanted to enjoy the new relationship before things got messy. For now, she would keep quiet and let them enjoy their time together before they start having serious conversations.

"It's possible," Lola grinned, taking the last bite of her soufflé and doing a little happy dance in her seat. "We may just be hearing wedding bells soon."

Scoffing at that notice, Quinn waved her friend off. "Knock it off," reaching over, she grabbed her water bottle from the couch. "Logan and I have barely been together for a month. It's way too soon to be thinking about marriage." She had only considered that when she and Mark had made it past a year into their relationship. Even back then, she knew it was still soon to be talking about marriage. A month into a relationship is way too early.

"Starry skies or rainbow?" Logan took one more step outside his office, looking slightly flustered as he bounced on one foot.

Frowning, Quinn looked at him. "Rainbow." She answered and watched as he disappeared back into his office again.

Lola looked at him, too, watching his retreating figure as he spoke into his headset. "What's he doing?"

Quinn shrugged, "I have no idea." She could only shake her head and think of the numerous possibilities he could be doing in there. "At least it's keeping him busy." Before he started the call, he had been sitting with the two girls on the couch and was interrupting their girl talk. She enjoyed his company, but she really wanted some one-on-one time with Lola to discuss everything that had transpired.

Agreeing with that, Lola took a sip of her own water. "Do you really think it's too early to be thinking about weddings or engagements or a maid of honor who can give an Oscar-worthy speech that it will have everyone crying?" She was pointing to herself, a big grin on her face showing off her pearly white teeth.

Quinn laughed, lightly hitting her with one of the new throw pillows she picked out. "Yes, it's way too soon. At least let us celebrate an anniversary first."

"Didn't you guys just celebrate your one-month anniversary last night at dinner?" Lola winked, teasing the girl. The guy had to have shown up with flowers for that very reason.

Scoffing at that notion, Quinn fiddled with the label on her water bottle. "Oh please, who in our age group celebrates monthiversaries? That's something we did in high school or college." Both girls laughed at the notion, remembering their embarrassing youths when every month they would go up to their boyfriends and expect them to remember the special day they got together. Only to be broken-hearted when they never remembered. Sure, Logan had mentioned something about it being their one month, but she didn't think he was all that serious. He was probably going along with what he thought he had to do in a relationship. She would talk with him and clear things up.

Logan walked out of his office, the mini headset he wore forgone, but he was typing away on his phone. "What were you doing in there?" Quinn asked, taking a sip of her water.

Hitting a few more buttons on his phone, Logan gave her a huge grin. "Since last night was a bust, I just booked us a romantic night in a glass igloo so we can see the northern lights for our one-month anniversary." He was beaming, looking very proud of himself as he checked out his reflection in the mirror mounted on his wall. "Am I the best boyfriend, or what?" He winked at himself, already knowing the answer.

Quinn nearly did a spit take, choking on her water when she heard what he had done.

Sitting there in stunned silence for a moment, Lola felt a wicked grin come onto her face. "Didn't Mark give you a rock for your last anniversary?" She giggled when she saw the sour look that darker Logan's face at the mention of the other man. "Seems like you've really traded up."

Brown eyes glared at her friend, who was not helping the situation.

"At least someone in this group has a brain." Logan was glad to hear that somebody would admit he was a good boyfriend. Chase and Michael only seemed to mock him while mixing in compliments. He already knew he was, but it was nice getting the recognition from others. He had worked hard to plan out the trip and even made sure to ask what she preferred. "I talked with my dad, and he agreed to let us use his private jet so we could be there for the actual day." He snapped his fingers, suddenly remembering. "You probably don't have the right clothes for Sweden. Lemme order you up a new wardrobe." He ran back inside his office.

Coughing more to clear her throat of the burning, Quinn jumped over the couch. "Logan, wait!" She called after him, trying to discourage him from going to such outlandish extents just for her. "We can just go on a picnic." She cried, but he wasn't having it. Instead, he speed walked out of his office, phone still in hand as he added more items for purchase.

"I call maid of honor!" Lola yelled out through the penthouse, laughing when she heard her friend squeak.

"Don't encourage him!" Quinn cried, still trying to chase down Logan, who wasn't listening to a thing she said and only continued to buy more things for her.

Lola was content to sit back and watch it all unfold. If this is what one month together is like for them, she can't wait to see how they'll be after a year.
