Prospects of Never Marrying
"Marriage is kind of out of the question, isn't it?"
The subject wasn't one he'd wanted to come up with, yet there was that elephant in the room regarding his relationship with Inami—marriage and having kids would be impossible given her androphobia. Souta let out a sigh, not looking at his older sister Kazune.
"I don't know," his currently ex-brother-in-law said. "I think it could work. I mean…"
Kazune frowned, giving her ex-husband a look while Souta turned his head. At first, his jaw dropped, and then he stammered out, "Wait a second!"
Kazune's frown turned into a smile, her voice turning sickly sweet. "Not every husband is a masochist like you are, dear. And do I need to remind you the reason we divorced is because a loving wife does not like to abuse their husband?"
Souta cleared his throat. "Could I possibly go elsewhere? This is kind of…"
"Go," Kazune waved her hand. "At least your relationship is headed in the right direction. At least, I think it is."
"Of course it is," Souta muttered, shaking his head at his currently ex-brother-in-law, who'd managed to get on his sister's bad graces yet again.
