"My friends, your patience is about to be rewarded." The old man wearing yellow and a long grey bread said, standing before his cart to the villagers. "for I have saved the best for last. I have recently discovered a cure-all of unrivaled potency. It will soon be on the shelves in every home in Outworld. This Elixir is cracted from an ancient recipe. It has Flowers, Margonvian nectar, and powered teeth from an Arctikan dargon." He continues as the attraction of his words caused more villagers to walk up to the cart. "All This and More, Infused with powerful Lekorian Magic."

The old man ponited his arm to his left. "There is a village, in the next canton over, where everyone has purchased this miracle cure. Overnight, all diseases, even Tarkat, have disappeared." The old man then grabbed one of his 'elixirs'. "Now Magic, this potent is expensive, and im sure you're asling yourselves: Can i afford it? But the true question you must ask is, can i afford to be without it?"

"You Lie, Shang Tsung! Your cures are useless!" An accusing voice rang from the crowd. The villagers stepped to the side as a tall, black man with a blue shirt and a red sash across it began to walk up. "I'm sorry. You are?" Shang Tsung asked the man as the tall man got closer to him. "Someonw fool enough to have believed you. My daughter was dying when you came to my farm. You promised a miracle, and i gave you all I had. But only days later..she was dead." the tall man said, grieving in his voice as he mentioned his daughter.

Shang Tsung laughed. "That is impossible. My Magic could not have failed her -"

"THERE WAS NO MAGIC!" The tall man shouted in anger, stepping closer to the old man who had lied to him. "I took your Elixir to an imperial mage and you know what she said?" The man then snatched the glass jar out of Shang Tsung's hands and threw it onto the dirt beneath their feet. "Its nothing! Just Borjang Tea!" As soon as the man had finished his sentence, the croad began to cry out in disbelief that they had neary been scammed were it not for the man's anger. Shang Tsung began to stammer. "The mage is mistaken, kind sir." Shang tried to explan as he was backed up intl his cart. "My Elixirs are of superior quality. Their efficiency is guaranteed." The tall man threw Shang him onto the the dirt near the crowd. The angry crowd began to close in around him. Shang Tsung could only raise his arms out in defense.

Several hours Later in the forest while it was raining was Shang Tsung's cart. Out walked the man while he was carrying a small suitcase before sitting on the steps. He opened the suitcase to reveal a mirror. Shang Tsung then took off the fake bread and graying hear off of his head, showing that Shang Tsung was younger then what people would have guessed with the makeup and fake hairs. "it is an Excellent ruse, your disguise." A woman said to the left of him as he looked over. The woman was wearing an outfit he couldn't place but her eyes were growing blue. "Backwater folk are far more likely to trust an kindly old man."

"Here on behalf of a dissatisfied customer?" Shang asked. "If its revenge you want, have at it. If its restitution..theres nothing left."

"What i want, Shang Tsung, Is to elevate you. to make you the great sorcerer that now you can only pretend to be."

"A Generus offer. Why Me?"

The woman stepped forward. "You are uniquely resilient. who else could eke out a living traveling Outworlds hinterlands, selling quack Cures and fake magic?" The woman spoke as Shang Tsung stood up,his attention fully peaked. However,He scoffed. "A Living? It is bearly Survival."

"And you are meant for more. to live among kings, not peasants. But since before you wrre born, you have beeen conspired against. By those who fear how formidable you could become."

"How do you know this? Who are you?" Shang asked,a confused and lost look on his face. "I am your deliverer, Shang Tsung. Join me and i will put the realms at your feet." The woman said as a smile slowly creeped onto Shang Tsung's face.

"Heads up!" Spider-Gwen yelled as she webbed up a piece of the destoryed car as she was in the middle of a car chase trying to stop some criminals. "Come on guys! Think of the environment!" Gwen said as she landed on top of the car. "We all share the same planet you know!" She said before one of the criminals in the car tried to shoot her. Gwen dodged and promptly webbed him onto a pole nearby. she then focused on the driver by kicking through the window, sending him out the other door. Spider-Gwen then quickly got to the front and aimed her webs to buildings nearby. she pulled as hard as she could to stop the cars. Once the car was properly stopped, She sighed. "Great work guys! Same time next week?" Spider-Gwen quipped before web-slinging away.

Spider-Gwen landed onto of an Building. "Not bad Gwen..Not Bad." She said, her mask covering her smile. Spider-Gwen stretched and cracked her neck before going to start web-swinging again before she realized something was...off. Her arm wasn't reacting to her movement. She looked down toward it before finding it fading into sand. Her len's widened in panic. "no no no no!" She quickly said, trying to move, but finding it was getting harder and harder to move, Her legs begining to fade away too. "Dad!" She cried out before disappearing completely. not a trace of her left in this world.
