The cookies almost slipped from Victoria's hands. Max wasn't wrong. She'd love it if Max were to move into her room. But never being flustered was Vic's coping mechanism, at least she tried for it to be. "You wish you were so lucky."

Max, who had long since gotten used her love's quips, shot back. "Yeah I do." Victoria, afraid to show her blushing cheeks, went to her desk and sat the cookies down.

Vic could play this game. Hell, this was her game. Still, she kept her back to Max. She had never played with Max. "So, do you really like me?" That had to throw her off.

Max laughed and sat her bag down on the couch. "No, not at all. Haven't you noticed I kiss and confess my love to all the people I hate?" Max sat on the couch. Hands naturally sliding into place around guitar. One great thing about time travel was infinite guitar training.

The word love threw Vic off again. Was Max being serious? She's in Love with her? She turned around sitting on her desk. "Love? You love me?"

"Yeah sorry totally head over heels for you. I've learned that it's easier if I just tell you sooner." She love watching Vic blush and squirm. She smiled as she watched her green orbs dance.

"Sure. This is just a fucked up way to get back at me for Kate."

Max's smile vanished. "What You did to Kate was fucked up. But no this isn't, I am in love with you."

"…"

That hurt. She knew it was. But she was drunk and acted out of fear, not that made her feel any better. She regrets how that night ended so much.

She had started talking to Kate as a joke, but damn is that girl just so earnest and charming. When Nathan made a shitty joke and put a hand on Kate's shoulder she pulled the girl onto the dance floor. Surprisingly Kate could keep a rhythm albeit timidly.

After twenty minutes Kate suddenly asked to sit down or get some fresh air. Vic took her to a back room where she knew there was a window next to a couch. She smoked her cigarettes out of it. She could use one anyway, try to sober up. Hell, she was grinding against Kate Marsh.

They got to the couch. Kate plopped down while Vic opened the window. "Thanks for bringing me here."

Victoria laughed and asked "The couch or the party?" She lit a cigarette and slid down the couch, pulling on the cig happily.

"Both!" Kate giggled and had her eyes on Vic's lips as she smoked.

She noticed. "Well I have to admit Marsh. Maybe I was wrong and you are cool."

"Cool?" Kate raised her eyebrows and held out her hand for the cigarette. Vic gave it over with a smirk. Kate took it, took a small hit trying to copy Victoria. She managed to hand it back before she coughed it out and laughed while doing so. While coughing she ended up leaning her forehead against Vic's shoulder. "Nope! Not cool."

Vic laughed with her and without thinking began patting Kate's back. Kate groaned at that and Vic felt the breath on her neck. That was sure a sensitive spot on her. Was this really happening? Vic bit her lip and looked at the door. They were alone. She should lock it.

"This feeels really good Victooriaa." She had to be groaning against her neck on purpose right? Vic hand had spotted patting and was resting on the small of Kate's back. "Ooh.. Call me Katieee" Vic couldn't stand it anymore and took that as a sign. She dug her manicured nails up Kate's back across her sweater. That bought an actual moan from Kate and she arched her back, raising her face to Victoria's level.

Vic flicked her cig out and window and locked eyes with Kate. She had never noticed how pretty they were. An indescribable hazel. Three, Four colors in one? "Fuck it, Can I just fucking kiss you?"

Kate giggled and bit her lip, in a moment of clarity. "Well we have to stop your potty mouth some how."

Victoria's lips were quickly upon Kate's. Closing her eyes and being soft. She was met with a ferocity. Almost instantly it began open mouthed. Soon Kate had pushed Vic down, head resting on the arm of the couch. They kissed like no one was watching. How wrong they were.

Courtney burst through the door holding her phone up, soon the flash was turned on. Fuck. She couldn't be outed like this. Why didn't she lock that fucking door! Everyone was soon in behind her. Double Fuck.

Kate looked up at everyone, confused. Then Victoria said the words that would haunt her to her grave. "See get her drunk and she's forcing her tongue down anyone's throat." Kate's head snapped back to Victoria. Vic found out what heartbreak looks like.

Taylor jumped forward and pulled Kate up to her feet. "Oh really?" She kissed Kate, cackled and pushed her into the crowd of mostly boys. Courtney followed the action. Victoria couldn't watch. She lit another cigarette and stared at the windows as they all laughed. She never saw Nathan grab Kate and pull her from the room.

Max was the first to speak up. "I know exactly what happened Vic, don't ever try to lie to me. Kate is gay too and had such a crush on you and you fucking broke her. Have you apologized yet?"

Victoria nodded, looking over at the key she got from Kate. Knowing Kate was gay and liked her made it hurt even more. "Yes. Yesterday. She gave me your key and asked me to take your stuff to your room. I tried to apologize. She forgave me but she was more worried about getting to the hospital to see you. I got her a taxi there and back.. You weren't there."

"That's a start." Max sighed and plucked some strings. It was a sad tune. "I was at the Police Station all night."

"What? Really? Some people thought so.. but-" Max stopped playing and looked to the floor. This wasn't going to be easy. For Victoria. She looked up to her love's eyes. She never liked hurting her.

"I broke Nathan's spine as he shot Chloe Price. That piece of shit Jefferson had him drugging girls and kidnapping them. So the Monster could rape and kill them. He did it Rachel. He tried on Chloe but she had a tolerance. He drugged Kate that night but took her back to her room, but he made sure to take pictures. The Monster did it to me himself… And you were next."
