Summary: Kagome had been taken from the sea when she was young, but after everything with the Shikon no tama she is thrown back into her 'home' without any clue what is going on...and the first...'person' that finds her just happens to be the most evil thing in the sea. The Sea Worlock. '
Chapter One
The moon hung low in the night sky, casting a shimmering silver path across the dark waters of the ocean. Kagome lay on her back, her long raven-black hair fanned out around her like a halo, as she gazed up at the stars. The sound of the waves lapping against the shore was a soothing lullaby, one that had been her constant companion for as long as she could remember.
But Kagome was not like the other children of the sea. She had not been born beneath the waves, nor had she ever truly belonged to the ocean depths. She had been found, a tiny infant, washed ashore in a fragile seashell by the kind-hearted humans who had taken her in. Those early memories were fuzzy, like distant dreams. She had grown up knowing only the sea, her heart torn between the two worlds she had known.
As she lay there, lost in her thoughts, Kagome couldn't help but feel a deep yearning for something she couldn't quite put into words. It was as if a part of her, something essential, was missing. She had always been different from the other sea creatures, with her legs that allowed her to walk on land. Now, as she stared up at the starry expanse above, she wondered about her friends, the people she had met on her journeys, and the one she had left behind—the half-demon Inuyasha, whom she had loved.
The memories of her time on land were bittersweet. She had made friends, fallen in love, and faced countless challenges, all while searching for the shards of the Shikon no Tama, a powerful jewel that could grant immense power to those who possessed it. And now, after the final battle to protect the Shikon Jewel, Kagome had been separated from her friends and her world, cast adrift in the ocean once more.
She sighed, her azure eyes reflecting the moonlight as she pushed herself up and sat cross-legged in the shallows. Her skin glistened in the dim light, and her fin-like ears twitched as she listened to the distant calls of her fellow sea creatures. They were her family, her friends, but tonight, she felt a deep sense of isolation.
Unbeknownst to Kagome, her return to the sea had not gone unnoticed. Far beneath the surface, in the darkest depths, a sinister presence stirred. Ursula, the Sea Warlock, a being of immense power and malevolence, sensed a disturbance in the waters. His lair, a twisted underwater palace adorned with grotesque treasures, was adorned with relics of those who had sought his dark magic.
Ursula's eyes glowed with a wicked light as he peered into the crystal ball before him. His tentacles writhed with anticipation as he observed Kagome from afar, her beauty and her power drawing him in like a moth to a flame.
"Ah, what do we have here?" Ursula mused to himself, his deep voice reverberating through the murky depths. "A lost and beautiful soul, returned to the sea. How intriguing."
As Kagome continued to sit by the shore, Ursula's curiosity grew, and a sinister smile spread across his grotesque face. He had not seen a creature like her in centuries, and her presence in his domain was an opportunity he could not pass up.
With a wave of his tentacles, Ursula cast a powerful spell, causing the waves to churn and a thick fog to envelop the area where Kagome sat. In an instant, she found herself shrouded in mist, disoriented and uncertain.
"Who's there?" she called out, her voice trembling, as she tried to make sense of the situation.
And then, emerging from the depths of the fog, a figure appeared. It was Ursula, his massive form towering over her, tentacles writhing with a sinister energy.
"You, my dear, are a most intriguing find," Ursula purred, his malevolent eyes fixed on Kagome. "Welcome to my domain."
Kagome's heart pounded in her chest as she realized she was no longer alone. She had crossed paths with a being of darkness, one who had taken a keen interest in her.
"Who are you?" Kagome asked, her voice trembling, as she tried to make sense of the situation.
"I am Ursula," he replied with a sly grin, his tentacles undulating in a hypnotic dance. "The Sea Warlock, ruler of these waters. And you, my dear, are a visitor of great importance."
Kagome's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "What do you want from me?"
Ursula chuckled, a deep, sinister sound that sent shivers down Kagome's spine. "I want to make a deal with you, dear Kagome. You possess a unique power, one that could be of great use to me. In exchange for your assistance."
Kagome's instincts screamed at her to refuse, to flee from this malevolent being, but she couldn't deny the curiosity that gnawed at her. "What kind of deal?"
Ursula's grin widened, revealing rows of sharp, pointed teeth. "All in due time, my dear. But first, let me show you the wonders of my domain."
With a wave of his tentacle, Ursula conjured a swirling vortex of water that engulfed Kagome, pulling her deeper into the ocean depths. She struggled against the powerful current, but it was futile. As she descended into the darkness, Ursula's eerie laughter echoed in her ears.
Kagome's mind raced as she was carried further into the abyss. She knew she had to find a way to escape this twisted creature's clutches, but she also couldn't help but wonder about the mysteries of the deep sea that Ursula had promised to reveal.
Her fate was now intertwined with that of the Sea Warlock, and the mysteries of the ocean depths were about to reveal themselves in ways she could never have imagined.
Yuki Note: Here is a new fic I have been hording. I have a line of Genderbent Disney/Kagome fics. So I will be posting them. Again, I will be posting alot more. Once I move and have settled I will have a set schedule on updates. For now it is going to be sparatic...I should be settled by October 10th.
