It was a quarter till 7 P.M. at Blackwell Academy. In Victoria's room there were two girls in a bed. Arms and legs entangled while the slept. The smaller of the two had her face buried against the neck of the other. Even her sleep she knew where the other girl loved to be touched.

Outside of Victoria's room there was also two girls standing at her door. Debating with each other whether or not to knock on the door. Taylor and Courtney, Vic's minions but truly the best friends she had ever made. They hadn't heard from Victoria since before midnight when told them she was going to her room, alone. Not even a single text, which was very odd for her. Every morning they talked in their group chat, not today though.

Taylor sighed and tried calling Victoria again. She groaned then looked to Courtney. "Straight to voicemail again. She never turns her phone off. I'm knocking. I don't care if she bites my head off. I'm worried Courtney."

Courtney leaned back against the wall next to the door. "Your funeral." She was worried herself but wasn't showing it as much as Taylor.

"Well I'm willing to accept that if it means preventing Victoria's. You didn't see her last night when she left to her room. I've never seen her like that… Fuck, here goes nothing." Taylor knocked against the door loudly. "Victoria, It's me and Courtney. Are you okay?"

Inside the room Victoria and Max woke up. Vic let out a yawn and looked over at the clock. 6:47. "Are you fucking shitting me. We didn't even get 7 hours." Though, she did feel surprisingly rested.

"We actually got like 10. I woke up a few times and rewound while you were asleep." Max gave a light kiss to Vic's neck lower neck with out having to move her head.

"Damn… That's handy."

"You're Handy." Max playfully nipped the spot she had just kissed. Then wiggled her butt to bring Vic's attention to it, which she currently had a handful of. Instead of pull her hand away like Max expected Vic gave her ass cheek and squeeze and then a light smack.

There was another knock on the door, a little louder this time. "Victoria we're sorry to wake you up but I'm honestly worried about you."

Vic groaned and pushed her head back into her pillow. She raised her voice enough for them to hear through the door. "I'm fine Taylor. Thanks for the wake up call." The sarcasm dripped off the last sentence.

"S-sorry." Fuck, that made Victoria feel guilty. She remembered how worried she was over Max the night before.

"No I'm sorry Taylor, I'm just being a bitch. Give us a minute and I'll open the door." Vic didn't catch what she had fully just said, but Max sure did and she grinned.

It was Courtney's voice that came through the door now, inquisitive as possible. "Ummm, Us?"

Victoria's face went pale and she shot up to look down at Max. "Fuck. Fuck. Take it back, rewind." Max's grin faded and she glanced away from Vic. Oh fuck, that really hurt to watch.

"I can if-"

"No!" Vic leaned over, putting Max under her. She grabbed Max's face and kissed her. "I'm so so sorry I said that, I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry Max. It's not like I could hide us forever anyway. Nor do I want to. And it's T and Courtney, I don't think I could hide it from them."

Max returned the kiss and met those brilliant green eyes again. "I could for you though." Victoria had trained herself to find everyone's weak spots, and she was seeing this was one of Max's.

"I won't let you though. Don't you ever hurt yourself for my sake. Promise me." She was still holding Max's face, Vic's eyes begging her.

Max smiled fondly. This is why she loved this woman. Max reached up and put a hand on Victoria's hip. "I will try to the best of my human ability." Vic eyed her suspiciously but was cut off by Courtney.

"If your in there Zach, Juliet is going to kill you, just saying." Courtney joked through the door.

Victoria glared at the door. "Oh my god bitch, don't be disgusting!" Vic sighed and sat back, straddling Max. She gave her one last look. "You ready for this?"

"I have been for longer than you could ever know." Vic smiled at Max and hopped off her, heading toward her closet. As she did, Max got a peek up Vic's nightgown at her blue panties and wolf whistled semi quietly.

Vic looked back at her with a cocky look before teasing Max by lifting her gown up slightly and showing off her ass. Hell, she worked hard enough for it, was nice to have someone to show it off too. Max bit her lip while getting up to sit on the edge of the bed. Vic let her gown fall back down before searching through her closet. "Grabbing robes."

Max resisted making a joke about grabbing things, but also resisted stopping time for the both of them to be able to actually grab things. "Ooo, I get to wear more of your clothes? When can I get you into some of mine? You'd look pretty adorable in one of my baggy hoodies." Max smiled watched as Vic pulled out two kimono styled robes and hung them up on the closet door.

Vic slipped on one that was mainly a very light lavender. Black leaves lined the bottom and intricately snaked their way up to a shoulder then down both arms. Large pink, yellow, and orange lotus like blossoms burst out atop the black leaves. It was beautiful on and off of Victoria. The other one was snow white with dark brown branches making their way up from a gray rock formation at the bottom. Red and yellow leafs dotted the branches, making it seem like the tree was set ablaze. Vic took it down and held it open at the shoulders to make it easy for Max to put on. Max hopped up and turned around to allow Vic to put it on her.

"You wouldn't catch me dead in your hipster ass clothes."

That was the worst thing she could have said.

Max was naked. Her hands, feet and thighs bound with duct tape. She was lying on her back, arms painfully pinned down by her own limp weight. She was covered in bruises. Blood was openly trickling from her nose from trying to use her powers constantly. Also from it being severely broken. Above a busted lip her mouth was set into a snarl. Her eyes, one of them blackened, steeled into a glare.

Mark Jefferson stood above her. A camera was strapped around his neck. His bruised right hand, knuckles cut from impact, pointed a gun down into the grave Max lay in. "Oh Maxine. If only you hadn't struggled."

"Hurry up chickenshit." Max snarled through gritted teeth.

The monster smiled sickeningly and lowered the gun. "How about a few mementos for the road?" With his unoccupied hand he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out Chloe's three bulleted necklace. Max growled at the sight of it. Jefferson flung it down at her. It landed heavily against her sternum. "Perfect. Hold that pose. Not that you have much of a choice" He took hold of the camera and a flash went off, blinding Max momentarily.

"This is only one universe!" Max screamed up at him. "I'll fucking show you choice!"

"There you go again. You know, Rachel used to say something so similar." He pulled out Rachel's blue feather earring. It was soon tossed down to hit Max's face. She shook it off her face enraged.

"I swear, you may never see your day in court… But you will see every fucking day of hell!"

The was another flash of the camera and the disgusting laugh of Jefferson. "As will you Max. Let me show you why." When Max regained her vision she couldn't find the monster again. Dirt began falling from one side of the shallow grave. There was a grunt from Jefferson.

Victoria's naked body rolled and fell into the grave on top of Max. There was a silence as Max stared at Victoria's face. Her pupils were dilated fully. Her body was cold against Max's. Max let loose a throat ripping scream. Victoria's face was illuminated by the camera flash.

"Do it… Do it or you're next!" The hammer of a gun was cocked.

"My father-"

"You think he didn't order that himself?"

A shovel's worth of dirt went into the grave.

Another flash.

"I'LL KILL YOU ALL! NO! YOU'LL WISH FOR DEATH!" Dirt landed on Max's face. She began cackling as the thuds of dirt piled on more and more.

There was screaming. Someone was screaming. There was a loud thudding. Max's face was wet. Her eyes hurt. Her hands hurt. Two people were screaming. No, everyone was screaming except Victoria. Vic had her hands up, palms forward, trying to show innocence and safety. Max looked past Victoria. Courtney and Taylor were in Vic's room, both of them trying with all their might to keep the door shut. The door slammed open an inch every so often, the deadbolt had been busted through the frame. Victoria said something softly but Max couldn't hear it. Max looked down at her hands. She was holding Victoria's red floor lamp. No, She was wielding it like a spear. It had been broken in half and there was a jagged edge. Pointed straight at Victoria. Max chucked it from her hands. It landed next to it's upper half and one of the flower mirrors that had evidently been knocked off the wall. There was a dent in it's place. Glass was scattered across the carpet. Max noticed she was backed against the corner of the room, between Victoria's dresser and the two walls. Vic's computer chair was on it's side, knocked toward the bed. 'Calm your bitch down Victoria!' Courtney. 'All THREE of you are fucking DEAD!' Dana. 'Mind your fucking business!' Taylor. The door slammed partially open again but they managed to keep it closed. Victoria's mouth moved again but the words didn't reach Max. 'I'm about to call the cops!' Brooke. Max only wanted to hear Victoria.

Max clutched at her head, grabbing fistfuls of hair. She crumpled down. Wedging herself into the small place of the three walls made by the dresser and walls. Not caring it forced the nightgown to ride up and expose herself. Not caring she was sitting on broken glass. She was safe. Not herself, but Victoria, her love. Max pushed back into the three walls of the grave. Only now Victoria was alive. That's all that mattered.

Why was it happening so soon. It was too soon. "...no"

Max coughed out a sob. Blood splattered from her mouth and nose. It flew down across the floor and onto Victoria's feet. Vic's hands starting shaking at the sight. "STOP! JUST FUCKING STOP!" Victoria screamed as loud as she could toward everyone at the door. She ran the few steps to Max, glass grinding into her feet. She threw her arms around Max, pulling her to her chest. "Oh god Max, please be okay." In an instant Max had her arms around Vic, clutching at her robe. Vic rocked the both of them back and forth as much as she could. "Please be okay." She repeated it over and over.

Dana finally forced the door open, bursting in with a stumble. She stopped almost immediately at the state of the room and the two girls huddled together. Her, Courtney, and Taylor were breathing heavy from the physical effort. Brooke was standing just outside the room, staring in, phone in hand.

Max coughed out another cry. Victoria felt the warm blood spray against her chest. She tightened her grip on Max. She was about to repeat her prayer but Max spoke first. "There's no time. I don't wanna die. No time left. I have to. I'm so sorry baby. I have to let her out. I love you. I love you so much. I'm so sorry."

Max's hands loosened from Victoria's robe then her arms fell limp. Max's full weight fell forward against Victoria which caused her to fall back slightly. "Max? … Max!?"
