Chapter 1: Dad?
Upon his summoning, Archer knew that his presence would cause a change to the Holy Grail War. While the memories from his life had faded away, it didn't mean that he couldn't remember certain events. One such event was the summoning of Saber, which should be taking place now.
He wasn't looking forward to having to face off against her, however. The fact that Rin insisted on saving the boy was an annoyance, though he didn't mind if it meant he ended getting a chance to end the boy's life. It was his sole wish, one that didn't require winning the Holy Grail.
Needless to say, nothing ever went according to plan when it came to Archer and his E rank luck. Especially when multiple elemental bullets were fired on him the moment they reached the threshold of his old home's bounded field.
Without a moment of hesitation, he leaped out of the way, dropping Rin off at a safe location, before summoning Kanshou and Bakuya into his hands. His countless battles and collected experience ended up saving his life. What appeared to be a black katana nearly sliced his head off, however, he managed to duck and counterattack.
The moment his swords hit his opponent's body, it was replaced by a shadow that dissipated the moment it took the hit. His eyes narrowed, as his opponent leapt back about ten yards away. "You dodged." The now identified girl said, as if disappointed.
She seemed to be wearing a black, sleeveless cheongsam with white pants. Both articles having red accents. She wore black armored gauntlets that went up to her elbows and a black helmet with cat ears that covered her face, though her hair could be seen in the back, tied up in a bun. He took notice of the red streaks that adorned her hair, but brushed it off as unimportant.
"Hmph, apologies, but I'm rather fond of my head and would prefer if it remained attached to my body." He replied, trying to analyze her sword, though she wore a crimson shoulder cape that extended down far enough to hide it, while she stood angled in a way that hid it.
"A pity, it would have been a painless death." She said solemnly, causing Archer to raise a brow. Before he could say anything further, multiple styles of ice blades rained down on his position causing him to have to dodge and parry. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the previous girl keeping an eye on his movements.
'A coordinated attack? Two servants? That doesn't make any sense.' He thought to himself. He followed the trajectory of the ice blades and saw the origin. Another girl, in her late teens, much like the previous girl, was seen standing on top of the walls surrounding the house.
'Master, this has gotten a lot more complicated.' He conveyed mentally to Rin. The second girl then materialized what looked like glyphs, making a small path next to the other girl, before she stepped forward and seemed to skate atop of the glyphs like a practiced figure skater.
She wore a white and black sleeveless, form fitting shirt, with a black skirt that ran to her knees. She wore a red cloak with white insides ran down to the back of her knees, that also covered her shoulders and upper arms. She wore white boots and white gloves to complete the outfit, which matched her flowing white hair. Archer noticed she too possessed red streaks in her hair.
He also took note of her different colored eyes, one blue eye on the right and one silver on the left. This one had her sword out for him to see, though he had trouble getting any significant information from it. It was called Myrtenaster Version 3, which was a silver rapier with a guard that had four talons pointing upwards.
Apparently, they could detach and fire autonamously like drones. He also got the name of the girl, Winter Rose, or Winter Schnee. It seemed they were interchangeable. However, it didn't answer any of his questions.
"Tch, he's pretty quick on his feet, though I suppose I shouldn't expect anything less from a heroic spirit. Hey you, what class are you?" Winter asked him, surprising Archer somewhat.
"Oh? You want to get on with introductions after you almost killed me? Quite a ruthless girl you are. Tell me, why should I tell you what class I am? It's more advantageous of me to keep my class hidden, after all." The girl's cheeks puffed up at his reply, obviously a bit put off.
"Because manners are important. I only attacked because you attacked my sister. Dad says protecting our family is our number one priority. So, I apologize for attacking you when you weren't paying attention." She said with a curtsy.
"Hmph, well I think you'll find adhering to those manners could get you killed during this war, princess." Winter let out a small huff at his words, though it was the other sister that replied.
"She's an heiress, actually. Her mom is big on etiquette and elegance, though dad tends to spoil her a bit too much, so those lessons tend to take a back seat when she's fighting." Archer raised a brow at her words. 'Half sisters?'
"Ciara! You didn't have to say that!" Winter's face was red, more than likely from embarrassment. The now identitified Ciara just let out a small chuckle, both seemingly forgetting about his presence.
Rather than wait, Archer prepared to throw his swords, planning on firing off some arrows afterwards. If it came down to it, he'd even fire off Caladbolg, though, he didn't want to fire it off in such a crowded place. Before he could do so, however, two more figures showed up.
One wore a red, sleevless shirt with a black corsett. She had black pants and white knee length boots with a red sash tied around her waist. Black gauntlets and a black shoulder cloak with a fur collar completed her outfit. She had black hair that faded to red at the edges, worn in a small ponytail, with a black eyepatch over her right eye. Her left eye being silver in color.
Some sort of sword was wrapped up in a red cloth on her back, being visible from the oposite side of her shoulder cape. Behind her waist was some sort of collapsed weapon, one that functioned as a scythe and sniper rifle. Her name was Summer Rose, or Nikos.
The other had long red hair with a gold feather ornament in it. She had a bronze chestplate over a black shirt, with a bronze pauldron on her left arm, a loose, red sleeve ran down her arm to her glove. The other had a tight, black sleeve that ran down to her hand. She had a red waist cape, much like his own, with black cuffed boots and bronze greaves that ran up to her thighs.
In her hands was a strange rifle, that doubled as dual swords, or a spear. Her eyes were also different colors, one eye being silver and the other being green. Her name was Scarlett Nikos, or Rose. Each of the girls caused some strange nostalgic feeling in Archer, but the two recent ones caused a stronger pull.
"Stop right there evil doer, I can tell from your eyes that you plan on harming my sisters." Summer spoke in a theatric voice, causing Scarlett to let out a sigh, causing Archer to tilt his head. He looked at the other two sisters, who both seemed to also let out a small sigh.
"Well, worry not little sisters, I shall protect you, even if I have to unseal the power of my newest noble phantasm. But, I still can't control the power inside of my eye, so you must flee, lest you all be harmed by its power." She performed dramatic movements, as if in a play, before holding her hand up towards her eyepatch.
Admittedly, Archer was a bit worried, especially if what she said was true. He didn't have that high of magical resistance. Sure, she was a little dramatic, but there was no way that was a bluff, was it?
Summer stood in a dramatic pose with her hand close to her eyepatch, though Scarlett simply looked at her with a deadpan expression. Without a second thought, she raised her hand up and grabbed the eyepatch, pulling it away from her face, before letting go and causing it to snap back at her sister's face.
Summer let out small yelp of pain, before holding her hands up to her eye and looking at her sister. "Ow, Scarlett, that really hurt." She said in whiny voice. Scarlett only let out another sigh, before shaking her head.
"Summer, your semblance and that act of yours only works on evil opponents. Besides, you do that one all that time. It's starting to get old." She said in an exasperated tone. Archer would have sweatdropped, if it wasn't for the fact that he knew said girl was incredibly skilled, despite her childish antics. Her weapon gave him a good amount of info on her fighting style.
"And you're the youngest out of all of us, you dolt!" Winter added, obviously a bit upset. Archer would admit he was a bit amused at what was going on, but it was worrying that there were four servants in place, all of which were on the same side. He couldn't understand it all.
He would have made a move to try and eliminate one, but Ciara stood firm, her hand on her sword. Luckily, this enabled him to get a look at her weapon. Her sheathe held two weapon, a long katana with runes on the guard that activated elemental attacks. Along with a shorter gunblade, that fired off special elemental bullets.
Her full name was Ciara Belladonna, or Rose. 'Who was crazy enough to have children with three different mothers?' He thought to himself. Just as he finished his thought, Ciara's helmet began to breakdown, eventually forming into armor on her shoulders. Revealing her cat like eyes, like her sisters, both were different. One was silver and the other was gold.
As the other's argued, Ciara kept a close eye on him, her eyes narrowed, before they widened. "Those swords." She said quietly, though Archer managed to hear them. She scrutinized him further, before calling out. "Hey, guys, we may have a problem here."
Her words caused the sisters to all stop and turn towards her. "What sort of problem?" Scarlett asked with narrowed eyes. Ciara jerked her head over towards him. Ciara and Winter both looked at him, trying to see what Ciara saw, however, it was Summer that saw it first.
"Dad?" She said in a puzzled voice, causing Archer to raise a brow.
"Sorry to say, but I've never met any of you before today." Inwardly, he was trying to figure out what they meant. That was when each girl did something that surprised him. They held out their hands and summoned a weapon.
Winter's magic had an icy color, Summer's was flames, Ciara's was lightning, and Scarlett's was blue like water. Each dissipated, revealing copies of Kanshou and Bakuya in Winter and Ciara's hands, while a black bow appeared in Summers, and Caladbolg appeared in Scarlett's.
Needless to say, seeing copies of the weapons he used most often was troubling. Not to mention, they used projection to copy them. "No way, we got to meet weak dad AND heroic spirit dad! This is so cool! Hey dad, why are you wearing your hair like that? It makes you look old." Summer said enthusiastically.
Besides her comments bothering him about his age, since he physically looked in his 30's, late twenties at least, he also needed to grasp what the heck happened. 'Are they from another version of Shirou? But, how did they manage to become heroic spirits?' He let out a groan while bringing a hand to his face.
"Um, I'm sorry for almost cutting your head off." Ciara said in a quiet voice, her cat ears flattening on her head.
"Yeah, I wouldn't have attacked you like that if I knew either." Winter added to the apology. Archer could hear Rin freaking out from his mental link, but decided to ignore it for now. Honestly, why couldn't anything ever be simple.
"Oh, wait, we should introduce ourselves to old dad." Summer said enthusiastically. She dashed forward in front of her sisters, before making a pose that one would see in a magical girl show.
"My name is Summer, my twin's name is Scarlett..." She said pointing at her sister. "These two are Winter and Ciara." Gesturing at the two others, who both gave him a lazy wave and guilty smile. "And, we were summoned under the Saber class! We are the Maidens of the Four Seasons!"
Archer wondered how an alternate version of himself managed such a thing. Especially how he managed to have a daughter like Summer. Though, a part of him was somewhat happy, as it meant this version of him most likely didn't follow on the same path and managed to have a family. 'Or multiple.'
Unknown to Archer, but he would be in for another surprise, as Caster, Assassin, Rider, and Berserker were all going to be shock to the Counter Guardian.
Hope you enjoyed this first mini story. This will be a collection of mini shorts, omakes, one shots, and misadventures from the worlds of my other stories. They will mainly be crosses between the worlds, but they'll also be fun little stories from the canon fics I have going. This one, is Archer meeting the daughters of a potential ending of Sword Amongst the Roses. Note, its a potential ending so it is NOT CANON, so no spoilers or concrete pairings just yet. A few will have continuations every once in awhile, while some will be just one shots. One continual story will be told much like Resturaunt to Another World, where characters will meet up in a extradimensional diner ran by a certain Hero of Justice. These will be just little fun stories to allow me to just have fun and take a break. Sword Amongst the Roses will be next. Hope you enjoyed and, as always, until next time.

NP-Shroud of the Gods- her red shroud allows Scarlett to empower herself with divinity, enabling a buff to all stats.

Winter Rose/Schnee:
Semblance-Glyphs: an inherited semblance, allows the user to use glyphs for a multitude of different uses. Thanks to her heritage, she can also summon ice versions of weapons she's seen. While they are a rank lower, they can still function the same as normal weapons. This extends to Noble Phantasms.
NP-Snow Fairy's Field: Actually a second semblance, acts as a reality marble type bounded field when activated. Can manipulate all water and ice within a set area around her, even able to create mini blizzards. Has used it to freeze the blood of enemies when properly enraged. Ice replica's of all weapons are also present inside.
Myrtenaster v.3- a weapon type noble phantasm that has gained its own legend, allowing it to manipulate ice and wind. Upon release of it's true name, the sword will be thrown into the air and will create an ice castle with the sword at its center, turning it into a defensive type noble phantasm. Classified as anti-army because of defensive glyphs and runes being able to shoot beams of ice. Mana consumption is the main hazard with this noble phantasm.
Magic of the Winter Maiden-A form of magic from Remnant, enables control over all elements. Winter is the eldest sister, as such, has took it upon herself to push herself to the limit. Her skills are all top notch, this extends to her magic. She uses this to boost her current skills beyond what they would normally be by internalizing the power of the winter maiden and using it boost her semblances power. However, if used for too long, runs the risk of hypothermia. Her rose petals are White in color.
Ciara Rose/Belladonna:
Semblance-Shadow Binder: a semblance that allows the user to manipulate shadows in any way the user sees fit. More esoteric uses require more mana. Has used it to create shadow familiars on par with Sakura's, as informed by her father. Her use of the White Thorns, enables her to increase the range of her semblance, making her a natural assassin, who can hide and strike from shadows.
NP-Princess of the Faunus- a noble phantasm that allows her to summon a shadow familiar of any faunus she has met in her life. Only usable when not using her helmet.
Mark of Branwen- the shoulder cape on her arm bears the insignia of her grandmother Raven, the one who trained her to use a katana. This mark increases her agility and endurance. Allows Ciara to use Kindred Link three times when summoned.

Also a personal noble phantasm that denotes a faunus prophecy. Allows the use of any skill her parents possessed. though this is limited to mainly sword abilites. Can make use of her mother's clone ability and her father's favored traced weapons.
Magic of the Spring Maiden- A form of magic from Remnant, enables control over all elements. Surprisingly, out of all sisters, she is one of the most adept at using this magic for all elements, unlike the others who tend to specialize their elements. Her magic use is based off of the teachings of her grandmother, Raven. Can also use it to give her access to tracing, though without the reality marble, it is somewhat limited to weapons she remembers herself. The love for her sisters matches her father, who was the same, this causes her to use her magic for the sake of Summer, who always uses it for flashy purposes. Her petals are purple in color.
