Chapter 1: The Beginning Of A New Story

There was a sound of rattling wooden wheels coming from the horse-drawn carriage, the horse-drawn carriage creaking as it passed through the uneven dirt road.

The horse-drawn carriage had a simple model with two horses pulling it towards a harbor town that was only a few hundred meters away.

The horse-drawn carriage was only one of a total of twelve horse-drawn carriages running successively in a group of merchant caravans.

Inside one of the horse-drawn carriages, there was a red-haired youth who was fast asleep in a sitting position and leaning sideways on one of the wooden boxes. Not realizing that the caravan group he was traveling with had already arrived at its destination.

Seeing this, the old coachman tried to wake up a friendly young man who liked to help during their journey.

"Kid.. kid.. kid.. get up we have arrived!" The old coachman tried to wake him up while patting his shoulder which soon paid off with the young man starting to wake up from his sleep.

"Nnnghh.." The young man finally woke up and started trying to understand what was going on.

"Sorry to disturb your sleep kid, but we have arrived at Port City now, Melen City." He said smiling kindly at the young man.

"Ah it's okay. I should thank you for waking up." Said the young man, smiling back.

"Is that so..? Ha haha... That's good then. So are you going to continue your journey immediately or are you going to rest here first?" asked the old coachman to the young man.

After hearing the old coachman's question, the youth thought for a few seconds as he closed his eyes before he opened them again with the answer to the previous question.

"I think I will immediately continue my journey while the sky is still light" Said the young man while looking at the city which is northeast of Melen City.

"Is that so... You can continue your journey from here to your destination which is only 3 km away then. I'm sure it won't be a problem for a young person like you kid." Said the old coachman with a smile.

"Yes, I'd better hurry over there. I thank you for taking care of me on the way here." Answered the young man with a smile that never left his face while slightly lowering his head as a sign of respect to the person he spent the most time with during the trip.

"No problem!! After all, you already paid and we should be the ones thanking you for every dinner you made during our trip. I hope you can fulfill your dreams there Shirou!!" Said the old coachman loudly while patting Shirou on the shoulder.

"Thanks for the prayers and see you soon Amir-san" After parting ways with Amir. Shirou also said goodbye to some of his traveling companions and started to continue walking towards his destination.

Shirou looked far ahead, to be precise at a large city surrounded by a giant wall, where at the center there was a huge tower and its height was invisible.

It was the city that was the destination this time. A place that is a magnet that attracts people from all over the world to try their luck.

Some come to seek fame.

Some come to seek strength.

Some come to seek wealth.

Someone came to find someone who might be his true love.

Some came just to satisfy their curiosity.

Some come to feel the thrill of adventure in an underground world full of mysteries.

And Shirou is the latter type of person.

Shirou started rushing towards the city that was the center of the world.

Labyrinth City, Orario.

I write fanfic just for fun and fill my time when I'm off work. So for the update to be uncertain.

I really like Danmachi and Nasuverse especially Fate Series.
