Stimulating Anne Part 3
Within her vision, Anne was just finishing a friendly game of basketball with her mother.
"Wow, Mom, it sure was great spending this much time with you. I could stay forever." Anne said.
"I wish you could, dear, but you can't, you're needed back home, your father still needs you, as do all your brothers and sisters. Suzie, Tom, and Alan especially, I know they may work on your nerves sometimes, but they'd be lost without you." Akiko said gently.
Just then, a familiar voice was heard.
Male voice: Nami wa hikuku;
Soshite takaku;
Uchiyoseru;
Hateshinai oozora;
Soto shita de itsumademo;
Tsuzuku shiawase.
Though Anne saw no one, she quickly recognized the voice she heard, "Alan?" she asked.
Alan: Nami wa hikuku;
Soshite takaku;
Uchiyoseru;
Hateshinai oozora;
Soto shita de itsumademo;
Tsuzuku shiawase.
"Follow that voice, Anne, follow it and go back home." Akiko said.
"But what about you?" Anne asked.
"I won't be far, I'll be where I've always been," Akiko said to Anne. "in your heart."
"Thanks, Mom," Anne said. "good bye."
"Good bye, Anne," Akiko chuckled. "oh, and tell your father he might want to rip up the phone number the nurse slipped into his pocket, I'm sure he wouldn't want Miss Rosa to see it."
"You got it, Mom." Anne said.
After waving good bye to her mother, Anne ran off in the direction she heard Alan's voice.
Back in Anne's room, Alan opened his eyes.
I hope my message got through. Alan thought.
Henry, Stanley, Suzie, Alan, Tom, Flip, Nancy, Mimi, Scooter, and Chu Chu crowded around Anne's bedside.
Anne opened her brown eyes.
"She's awake! Anne's awake!" Scooter cheered.
"Tadaima." Anne sighed in Japanese.
"Okaeri, Anne." Alan said in a soft and gentle voice.
Henry rolled his eyes.
"You two and your Japanese." Henry groaned irritably.
