More Visitors Arrive

A few minutes later, Kaori entered Anne's room closely followed by the three children Anne rescued.

"Oh, good! You're awake, Miss!" one of the young girls exclaimed.

The three orphans climbed upon the bed with Anne.

"I'm so sorry about these three, Miss Chan," Kaori said to Anne. "when they heard you were awake, they just had to ask me if we could visit you."

"No harm no foul." Anne said to Kaori.

"When we first met, I truly had no idea you were the daughter of Akiko Hoshino, the inventor of the legendary Dragon Shot, still, I'm glad everything worked out and that you'll be okay." Kaori said to Anne.

"Thanks," Anne said, then silently to herself, she added. "I can't prove it, but I think my mom helped me get back."

"I'm sorry?" Kaori asked.

"Oh, nothing, I was just saying I'm glad things worked out, too." Anne said to Kaori.

"So are we!" the young boy exclaimed.

"Thanks so much for saving us," one of the girls said. "we all chipped in and bought you a stuffed brown baseball player bear from the gift shop."

The second girl handed the bear in his baseball uniform to Anne.

Anne took the bear and hugged him tight, "I'm glad you didn't buy me flowers, I'm allergic to pollen anyway." she confessed.

"What will you call your bear?" the first little girl asked Anne.

"Boo," Anne replied. "after Boo Blue!"

After Kaori and the children left, Anne too was free to go home.
