Marinette and Kagami then went down to meet Adrien who was waiting in the living area above the shop.
"Sorry if I am interrupting something," said Adrien.
"Marinette was just designing an outfit for me and we were having some small talk as she workd," said Kagami.
"What is it that you wanted to see me about, Adrien?" asked Marinette.
"I heard that you once practiced swordsmanship with Alya, is it true?" asked Adrien.
"Yes, we used to practice when we were younger and I have kept up with my training somewhat," said Marinette.
"I don't have much time to do so these days but I'll find time every once and a while to hit the hold dummy out behind the shop," she said.
"Would you be willing to train with me?" asked Adrien.
"What?" asked a shocked Marinette.
"I recently hit a wall in my training and I was hoping to train with someone who uses a different fighting style," said Adrien.
"My teacher told me that it would be a great way to see the weak points my style and help to fix them," he said.
"But… but I'm nowhere near good enough to train with you," said Marinette.
"You're only seeing the downside of this, Marinette," said Kagami.
"The bright side is that you will get some training with Adrien which can help you to improve as well," she said.
"I guess you have a point," said Marinette.
"Great, and if you would be alright with it Lord Adrien, I've trained in the way of the sword too," said Kagami with a cheerful smile.
"So I can also be a practice partner for you if that is alright," she said.
"That would be more than alright with me, I need all of the training I can get and with two people with different fighting styles I'm sure that will help me," said Adrien with an excited expression.
"Just what are you thinking, Kagami?!" thought Marinette who was doing her best to hide how nervous she was.
