Later that day, Marinette had gone over to the Couffaine Manor to talk with Alya.

"Arlight, I was not expecting you to say that when you came over," said Alya after hearing Marinette out. They were hanging out in her room, sitting at a table the maids had brought in and having tea.

"I'm the one who is even more shocked," said Marinette.

"I got the girl I like and now she's trying to help me get the guy too, just how much luck have I used up for this?" she asked.

"Sorry, but why are you complaining about this again?" asked Alya.

"What if Adrien says no, or if dating them makes being Ladybug harder?" asked Marinette.

"My being the protector of Paris should come before anything else so maybe dating them is not so smart right now," she said.

"If that's how you feel then just tell them the truth," said Tikki.

"But it's supposed to be a secret," said Marinette who was shocked by Tikki suggesting that.

"Master Fu told me that if you were to find someone you love, then I should let you tell them the truth," said Tikki.

"But there is a spell you should use on the three of you as a safety thing," she said before taking a bite of a cookie.

"Oh, I know what spell you are talking about," said Trixx.

"What is it?" asked Alya.

"A binding spell, it will keep the two of them from mentioning your secret no matter what happens to them, even being Akumatized won't let them do so," said Tikki.

"It's how us Kwami's don't out our human partners to others," said Trixx.

"And there's no drawbacks or anything, right?" asked Marinette.

"You'll just burp if you do go to say it, but that won't be anything hard to keep from happening," said Tikki.

"Alright, I'll have to keep it in mind," said Marinette.

"Oh, change of topic, Nathaniel has been doing great since you sent him to me the other day," said Alya.

"I figured becoming a licensed artest with your family would be great for him," said Marinette with a smile.

"We also managed to punish the officer by cutting his pay and stripping him of some of the power he had, he's not even allowed to write tickets now and is on thin ice," said Alya.

"Maybe he'll learn from this," said Marinette.
