Toshinori's Choice

Chapter thirty: The 1-A and 1-B friendship plan, part four

Barely an hour had passed after people all across Japan saw it happen on a live breaking news report detailing how Hawks and Majestic were fighting a variant model of nomu. Saw it as some of Endeavor's followers swarmed in, and Endeavor himself show up to vanquish the nomu before grabbing the exhausted and injured (too much so to fight back) Hawks by the head and killing him by literally turning up the heat. The news broadcast then cut off when Endeavor cast a blast of fire at one of the news helicopters, having fear settle into the hearts of many across the nation.

The collective students of UA's first year hero course waited around nervously, with even those in 1-B who were unamused with how 1-A was 'constantly trying to hog all of the spotlight to themselves' or words to that effect too worried to act up in their manner. Similarly, those in 1-A got got aggressive towards 1-B for their sabotage they did during the provisional licence exams were too worried to get into spats with any of 1-B. As if lancing a boil from which a gush rushed forth, Aizawa, Sekijiro, Hizashi, and Ryo came walking into the 1-B dorm where all of the student were at.

The students all rushed their teachers, all of them pelting questions as the pro hero men in a flurry. It took Hizashi yelling with his quirk to make the students zip it. "Thanks for that, Hizashi," Aizawa said. To the students, the underground hero went on, "I understand that you kids are all worried. So's the rest of the UA student body, and the whole of the UA staff present company included, AND the people of Japan as a whole. But we can't tell you what all was reported to have happened after the news had cut off if you pelt us with questions going a mile a minute."

"First off should be the obvious," Sekijiro began. Letting out a troubled sigh, the Blood Hero went on, "Yes, it's been confirmed that Hawks has indeed been killed. What was seen on the live breaking news report can tell you how Hawks had been slain."

"Is Majestic still alive?" Yaoyorozu asked.

Nodding once, Aizawa said, "Yes, Majestic is still alive. A few moments after Endeavor slew Hawks, men from Dabi's Crew swarmed into the area, the shouts of many of them making it clear they had shown up for Endeavor. It was reported that Endeavor had turned tail and fled with some of his men while the others bought time for the escape, with Endeavor and his fellows fleeing the moment Usagi and Felgrand were reported to be coming over."

Tsuyu gulped nervously. "So they... they showed up to fight Endeavor kero."

"Yes but they were left disappointed as Endeavor had made himself scarce by the time they showed up," Ryo explained, "After the thugs under Endeavor's employ who were left behind were all defeated, Dabi's fellows who showed up all took off as more pro heroes showed up. Majestic was too exhausted and hurt to keep any of the villains from Dabi's brood from taking off, but that hadn't stop the remains of the HPSC from busting his chops over failing to keep any members of Dabi's Crew from being able to escape."

Stepping forward, Izuku asked, "So what's going to happen now?"

"Well, there's a silver lining to what had happened today, as well as the close call you kids under Sho had the last time you had a supplementary lesson to earn your provisional licences," Hizashi said, "The HPSC's remains finally got it through their thick fucking heads that things are far too dangerous to have the lessons out in the field off UA grounds, especially as multiple sides of the villainy in Japan have aims for one of you in particular." Todoroki shuddered a bit, knowing full well he was rather popular among the villains of Japan at the moment.

Gesturing to the kids, Aizawa said, "Mera of the HPSC came here to UA and is currently discussing plans with Nezu to host your supplementary lessons here on UA grounds. We're also in talks with the school whose kids you're working with as part of your lessons."

Bakugo scoffed, annoyance clear in his tone. "About damn time those dumbasses in charge of pro heroism in this country pulled their heads out of their asses."

With a confused look on her face, Pony of Class 1-B said, "How did they have their heads up their asses? How flexible are they exactly? And how can they fit their heads up their asses in the first place? And why would they have their heads up their asses? Wouldn't that be really gross and smelly?"

Smirking in amusement after hearing Pony's confused questioning, Bakugo muttered to himself, "Damn you're awesome, Tsunotori."

Patting Pony on the shoulder to get her attention, Itsuka said, "Actually Pony, 'heads up their asses' is a metaphor describing someone who had been incredibly stubborn."

"Like Monoma?" Pony asked, prompting many who heard the half-American girl to burst out laughing. Mostly those in 1-A, but many of Pony's own classmates in 1-B also found amusement in Pony's words.

Getting the students to settle down, Hizashi said, "Alright little listeners, let's tone it back a notch or two."

"We're going to go ahead and let you take the rest of the day off from working together," Sekijiro said, "Given that Japan is facing something of a national emergency right now that heroes all over have to work to deal with, you kids ought to be allowed 'cool off time' as Nezu described it. We'll discuss how things will proceed with the exercises to make the two classes act friendly towards one another tomorrow."

"And I will go over with those among you under me how the supplementary lessons will proceed," Aizawa began, "I'm still waiting on Nezu and Mera to tell me how things there will be worked."

The students of UA's first year hero course all relented and went about getting ready to rest for the night, with 1-A returning to their dorm building. As 1-A left the 1-B dorm building, Aizawa called out, "Oh, Asui." Stopping short, Tsuyu turned to look at Aizawa. "You're gonna have to come with me," said the underground hero, "Mera got it from Nezu how you... have a connection to Dabi's two elite bodyguards." Tsuyu gulped nervously as she nonetheless followed Aizawa off to see Mera while the rest of 1-A all went back to their dorm building. Things were proceeding at a rather scary pace for hero society as a whole, but never let it be said that the heroes were not capable of rising up to the challenge.

Later, Tsuyu stood next to Aizawa in front of the table in the staff meeting room, at which sat some UA staff members, including Nezu at the head who had Mera from the remains of the HPSC sitting next to him. Toshinori was also seated near Mera. The only primary UA staff who weren't there were Sekijiro, Hizashi, and Ryo, and that's due to them keeping an eye on the first year hero course students in light of what happened to Japan's latest pro hero to be minted as the number one. As a side note, Tsuyu heard Nemuri mention something about Edgeshot having a target on his back now potentially.

But the potential target on Edgeshot's back pales in comparison to the target on Endeavor's back, as many in Japan are gunning for him, hero and villain alike. Among the persons aiming to get to the disgraced former pro hero were Dabi's two elite bodyguards, Usagi the Rabbit-Earred Giantess and Felgrand the Dragon of Destruction. Or as they are respectively also known as Satsuki and Samidare Asui, the younger siblings of Tsuyu, who Aizawa had brought over to meet with Mera and the US staff at Mera's request. The froggy girl of Class 1-A was nervous to be standing there, given Mera called for her.

"So, you're Tsuyu Asui," Mera said in a tired tone, reflecting on how he was honestly tired. Letting out a yawn, Mera said, "Forgive me for yawning, I don't find things here boring. It's just that I legitimately have gotten so little sleep as of late."

"I know that feel," Aizawa spoke up.

Stretching his arms a bit, Mera continued, "One of the reasons that I've gotten so little sleep is that the remains of the HPSC have been working overtime dealing with the two known major villainous threats to society, those being the now villainous Endeavor and those he leads, and Dabi's Crew. Endeavor is the only real threat of note in his brood, although some of his thugs were sidekicks of his before his hero agency was shut down. As for Dabi's Crew, every known member is a person of note to the HPSC, all of them needing to be brought in." Mera arched a tired eyebrow at Tsuyu. "...Especially Dabi's two elite bodyguards, Usagi and Felgrand."

Tsuyu let out a troubled sigh. "I take it that you got it that Usagi and Felgrand are my little sister and little brother respectively kero."

"I also got it that they respond positively to you," Mera went on, "That you were able to make them take pause. Felgrand even straight up killed one of Endeavor's minions because he saw said minion rush at you with sinister intent. Reportedly, he didn't have any explicit clearing from Dabi to do that."

"We have confirmed that Ms. Asui here has the ability to parley with Usagi and Felgrand," Nezu said as he turned to look to Mera, "She has a good shot at being able to reason with them."

Mera nodded once in agreement. "Yes. I daresay that Tsuyu Asui here may be the single most important person in the country right now, as she may be able to win over the allegiance of the two strongest villains in the country, can get them to fight for our side." The UA staff all perked up at the idea that Mera suggested; both Usagi and Felgrand fighting for the heroes? Toshinori was especially interested in such a prospect. He recalled from the alternate timeline that Usagi and Felgrand were both far too strong for the heroes to take on, their being unstoppable helped see to Dabi's Crew taking over Japan.

...But having that power working FOR the heroes rather than AGAINST the heroes, now that would help ensure that heroism will win out in the end. "Now hang on there a minute," Recovery Girl spoke up, "Are you suggesting that we use elementary school-aged children to carry pro hero burden?"

"They've proven more than strong enough, for better or for worse," Mera pointed out, "They could become valuable assets."

"They are six and ten respectively," Recovery Girl said firmly, "They do not need to be put to work if we're able to make them leave the villains and come back to us! What those children need is a warm, loving home and to be raised and treated right! They're lost, scared, confused, and being led astray by villains! Hell, I can make an argument on why Usagi and Felgrand themselves aren't really villains!"

Mera essentially ignored Recovery Girl, turned his attention back to Tsuyu. "Do you think that you can convince your younger siblings to leave Dabi's Crew and come over to our side?"

"They're rather adamant about finding Endeavor so they can get revenge on him," Tsuyu pointed out.

Mera nodded once in understanding. "We can easily bring them in on efforts to track Endeavor down. Hell, their power would make the physical efforts a breeze for us. However, you need to stress it to them that killing Endeavor isn't allowed."

"They explicitly made it clear they have no intention of killing Endeavor kero," Tsuyu replied, "They want Endeavor to be alive so they can, as they had put it, 'make him suffer', which can't be done if Endeavor's dead." Tsuyu looked a little troubled. "They... Satsuki and Samidare... they want to get revenge on Endeavor because of how he is responsible for the accident on the highway to UA the day of the USJ attack. Me and my siblings' parents, our mom and dad, they... they were among the victims that were killed in that accident."

"So that's why Usagi and Felgrand wanna get to Endeavor," Mera remarked. Shifting in his seat, Mera said, "Very well. It helps them that they have no intention of killing Endeavor. That, combined with how they can potentially give us intel on Dabi's Crew, means convincing them to join us could help save a lot of trouble. The next time Usagi and Felgrand are spotted in the field, you'll be needed to go to them and-"

"Hopefully it'll be when I have my provisional hero license," Tsuyu interrupted, "I'm not allowed to go out into the field until I do. The only reason I was able to encounter Satsuki and Samidare the last few times is due to them catching my classmates and I when we did supplementary lessons off campus so that we'd be able to earn our provisional hero licenses kero."

Mera's eyes widened a bit, but then relaxed as a look of realization appeared in his tired gaze. "That's right, we've barred you kids who don't have provisional licenses from going out into the field." Letting out a tired and mildly annoyed sigh, Mera said, "Damn it. Well hopefully you and your peers can earn your provisional licenses soon." Straightening up a bit, Mera said, "Aside from Minoru Mineta who I heard was recently added back to you class. He already has his provisional licence, earned it while attending Shiketsu before his transfer returned him to UA."

"He already has his provisional hero license?" Tsuyu asked, a hint of annoyance in her tone. Many in Class 1-A were already annoyed with Mineta being back at all, regardless of his professed changing of his ways. But Mineta not only already had his provisional hero license but withheld that fact from everyone else; that was bound to make the rest of Class 1-A feel even more pissed off at the grape-haired short person. There was little else to say, so Tsuyu was excused.

Tsuyu was about to leave after turning around to walk out, but stopped short upon hearing Mera say, "So can I get in on the betting pool action you guys have going right now?"

"Oh yeah, I can give you good odds on Ashido, Mr. Mera," Hizashi replied.

"What's this about odds on Mina-chan kero?" Tsuyu asked, turning around to look at the teachers with curious wonder in her eyes.

Some of the staff looked nervous, but Mera cut in by saying, "Oh, the UA staff has a betting pool up and running where they are all taking bets on which girl in your year of UA's hero course it is that All Might's son has a crush on. We know he has a crush on one of you girls, but he hasn't confessed it yet so the identity is a mystery."

"Sir you weren't supposed to tell her!" Hizashi screamed, "Now the hero kids under Sho and Sekijiro are gonna find out!"

"It may leak to the student body as a whole as well," Aizawa said dryly, "And no doubt it'll become a topic of debate among my students and Sekijiro's students on which girl among the two classes is the one Midoriya has a crush on."

Shrugging, Nemuri asked, "Can't we just tell Asui to not say anything about it?"

"We could, but this could be considered top tier level gossip among the student body," Aizawa said, "No doubt Asui would want to tell others."

"Too late kero," Tsuyu spoke up, making the teachers all turn to look at her and see she had a phone out, "I literally had just texted Mina-chan about it. You guys making such light of Midoriya having a crush on one of the girls in our year of the hero course is not very considerate towards him, nor is it considerate towards the girl that he's in love with."

Letting out a breath, Hizashi said, "Hoo boy, I can't wait to see how this will shake things up for Sho's students and Sekijiro's students."

...

Back where the 1-A and 1-B students were left behind, there was some displeasure from the rest of 1-A over Mineta already having his provisional hero license as Tsuyu included that in her text to Mina as well. But that was (thankfully for Mineta's sake) quickly and firmly suppressed by the OTHER bit of intel that Mina got in the text that she got from Class 1-A's resident froggy girl. Indeed, all eyes had turned to Izuku, standing there nervous with a face as bright and red as a fresh ripe tomato, as all of the other students were looking to him.

"Dudes, the teachers are betting on which girl among our two classes it is that Midoriya has a crush on," Kaminari said, "An interesting topic of debate that may be aside, doesn't anyone here think it's kind of disrespectful towards both Midoriya and the girl he's crushing on?"

"Well Midoriya is a top tier guy if you think about it," Mina said, "Good handle on a powerful quirk, top of the class, nice looking, legitimately great personality, and there is no denying his dad being All Might is also upping his appeal. I can see why the UA staff is taking bets on which girl from our year of the hero course is the lucky lady that Midoriya has a crush on."

"He does have a lot going for him, now that the subject's been brought up," Hagakure remarked, "I bet that any of us girls here would be lucky if we're the one that Midoriya's after."

Nodding in agreement, Setsuna remarked, "At least he doesn't look like the kind of guy who takes your microwave burritos from the freezer, nor does he look like the kind of guy who plays online poker in ass-less chaps."

"For the last time, you need to put your name on things in the shared fridge slash freezer in the dorm building's kitchen," Nirengeki said as he turned to look at Setsuna.

"And I don't know how you got it into your head Tokage, but I do NOT play online poker period," Togaru said as he winced slightly from pain as he shifted a bit, "Much less doing so while wearing ass-less chaps."

"Come at me bro!" Setsuna said challengingly at Togaru.

Stepping forward, Yui said, "But all of this talk about Midoriya having a crush on either a girl in 1-A or a girl in 1-B raises a rather pertinent question. Which girl is it that he has a crush on?"

A great many pairs of eyes turned to look at Izuku, making him blush even harder. Many of those pairs of eyes came from members of the fairer sex, many looking on in eager anticipation. Izuku was about to speak up, but Tenya cut in as he along with Todoroki and Shinso stepped forward. "This is ridiculous," Tenya proclaimed, "Trying to bother Midoriya over him having a crush on one of our female peers here! You guys ought to back off and give him space so that he may confess to the girl he's fallen for in a private and proper manner!"

The green-haired boy let out a relieved sigh. "Thank you, Iid-"

"I'm very much certain that Midoriya and Yaoyorozu would appreciate the privacy," Tenya spoke up.

"...Huh?" Izuku said, surprised to have heard what came out of Tenya's mouth.

Likewise, a number of the students in that area, 1-A and 1-B alike, all let out surprised cries, Yaoyorozu especially so. "Well it's pretty obvious that Yaoyorozu is the girl who Midoriya has feelings for," Tenya explained to everyone else, "She's one of the top performing students in our year, both in hero training and academics. Both she and Midoriya have a lot in common."

"Actually, I was thinking that it's Ashido," Todoroki spoke up, getting others to turn to look at him, "Midoriya strikes me as the kind of guy who'd appreciate the company of an energetic, excitable, fun-loving kind of girl, something that fits Ashido to a 'T'. Similarly, Tokage in 1-B will work just as well, so it may be her."

"Like hell any of you neanderthals in 1-A will ever be allowed to be romantically involved with any of the girls in 1-B!" Monoma proclaimed, "I won't allo-"

*WHACK*

Monoma was cut off when, surprisingly enough, Reiko whacked him in the back of the head, cutting him off and cutting off Itsuka who was about to do so. As Monoma writhed a bit in pain, Shinso stepped forward to stand with Tenya and Todoroki. "Actually, I'm fairly certain that Midoriya is crushing on Uraraka," Shinso said, drawing surprised looks out of many of those in the room.

Shihai turned to look at Shinso, shot him a confused look. "...Ain't she the fat one?"

"I'm calculating that there is a ninety-one point six percent chance that Uraraka is the girl that Midoriya is crushing on," Shinso explained. Izuku was already as embarrassed as possible, so it didn't show in his expression any hint at all that Shinso had hit the nail on the head perfectly.

Jiro turned her attention to where Mineta stood next to Kaminari, shot the short boy with grape-like hair a suspicious look. "I'm surprised you've said nothing about any of this, you little troll."

"I was actually thinking about how Iida has a point on how not only is it most likely that Yaoyorozu is the girl Midoriya likes," Mineta explained, "But for the same reasons that Iida had offered."

Jiro arched a wry eyebrow in surprise as she regarded Mineta. "...You aren't focusing on Yaoyorozu's looks?"

"Don't get me wrong, Yaoyorozu is a pretty girl," Mineta said, "But Midoriya strikes me as the kind of guy who wants more out of a girl than just a pretty face and nice form. The points that Iida brought up not only really do reflect the kind of girl Yaoyorozu is, but they are traits I can realistically see a guy like Midoriya putting stock in."

The others in 1-A, especially the girls (especially Jiro), were surprised to hear that Mineta of all people was focusing on the traits of a girl ASIDE from her physical appearance and how a guy may find value in said traits. Turning to look at Midoriya, Mineta went on, "Of course, there's no way to know for certain which girl it is that you have feelings for, Midoriya. And Kaminari has a point on how discussing the matter isn't all that respectful to both you or the girl you're crushing on."

"Yes, I'd very much appreciate it if everyone here were to drop the subject," Izuku said, relieved that someone was trying to let him off the hook.

However, despite Mineta (of all people, again to the surprise of many) wanting to let Izuku go, he would soon learn that others among the first year hero course weren't so willing...

...

The following day, word got out to the entire UA student body that Izuku has a crush on either a 1-A girl or a 1-B girl, but he hasn't revealed who it is yet. As such, the student body of UA, much like the UA staff, started up a betting pool where the students can take bets on who the lucky girl is. Students had to pay one-thousand yen to enter, and the first year hero course girls (due to supposed self-interest), as well as Izuku (who obviously knew the answer), were all barred from placing bets. Despite the UA student body betting pool having a one-thousand yen buy-in compared to the ten-thousand yen buy in for the UA staff's equivalent, literally every student (who was eligible to enter) had placed a bet, meaning the prize for the student body betting pool easily surpassed that of the staff's betting pool.

Also, despite how they were barred from entering, nothing was stopping Mina, Hagakure, Setsuna and Yui (surprisingly enough) from setting up and running the betting pool. Aizawa and Sekijiro normally would have objected on the grounds that students shouldn't be setting up and running betting pools, but relented on the twin basis that one, they as the teachers would come off as hypocrites as the staff also has a betting pool going (for the same reason no less), and two, the girls running things are two from 1-A and two from 1-B, and they were working together with a friendliness and unity that Aizawa and Sekijiro wanted to use as an example on how 1-A and 1-B ought to be getting along with one another. As such, the student body betting pool was allowed to go on without orders from the staff to shut it down.

Curious, Aizawa and Sekijiro took a look at which girl had how many bets. Similar to the betting pool that the UA staff had going, the betting pool that the UA student body had going saw Yaoyorozu with the overall greatest number of votes, also Uraraka had exactly one vote. "Yeah, Shinso is the only student who thinks it's Uraraka," Hagakure said, "Don't get me wrong, Uraraka is a sweet girl, but it's highly unlikely that Midoriya is crushing on her. I mean, boys tend not to like fat girls, as sad and as shallow as that may be."

"Shinso is basically throwing his one-thousand yen away," Yui went on.

Arching a wry eyebrow, Sekijiro asked, "How do you girls have figured the odds that it's Kendo?"

"Why, Kan-sensei?" Yui asked.

"Because he bet on Kendo in the UA staff betting pool," Aizawa said dryly, "Hence why he had Kendo paired with Midoriya during exercises to get 1-A and 1-B to work together when he got to decide on pairs."

Mina gave Sekijiro an unamused look. "Trying to up the odds in your favor, ehh Kan-sensei?"

Chuckling a bit in mild embarrassment, Sekijiro replied, "Well can you blame a man for trying?"

Rolling her eyes, Setsuna said, "Well to answer your question, we here in the student body betting pool got it that Kendo is the second most likely girl after Yaoyorozu to be the one Midoriya is crushing on."

Holding a hand to his chin, Aizawa said, "That's not too far off the mark compared to the staff betting pool."

...

Later that day, Aizawa and Sekijiro, backed by Hizashi and Ryo, were supervising another exercise between 1-A and 1-B to get the two classes to work together. To the surprise of the teachers, Mineta had specifically asked that his partner be one of the boys. "Yeah, I'm getting vibes that the girls still aren't all that comfortable with the fact that I am back here at UA," Mineta explained, "Both those in 1-A with me and those in 1-B. Forcing one of the girls in 1-B to work with me on an exercise might end up souring relations between our two classes even more. Hopefully one of the guys will be more willing to put up with me."

Looking to where the 1-B girls were gathered and seeing that all of them were looking towards where Mineta was talking to him and the other teachers, Aizawa said after turning his focus back to Mineta, "As wrong as it is that they're wanting to exclude you based on your past behavior and reputation despite how you've shown thus far you had been able to shake off past habits, the fact you're taking their feelings into consideration ought to be used as an example that 1-A and 1-B do have the potential to overcome bad feelings between the two classes as a whole."

"I... was actually planning on partnering you up with Komori to be honest," Sekijiro admitted, "I got put in charge of assigning pairs again-"

"You were totally gonna try and pair Kendo with Midoriya, weren't you?" Hizashi cut in dryly.

Chuckling a bit in embarrassment, Sekijiro said, "Ah, you caught me." To Mineta, Sekijiro said, "But you do raise a valid point, Mineta. The girls as a whole still aren't all that warmly receiving of you, so it was good you had asked to be partnered with a boy instead."

The students soon lined up when Sekijiro called out for all of them to gather. The pairs were mostly mixed to try to get the gender ratios evened out as much as what could be done. But Mineta was paired with Monoma, and Izuku (Aizawa did NOT want Sekijiro to try to influence Izuku's decision making again) was once more paired up with Yosetsu. Similarly, Yaoyorozu was paired up with Itsuka again.

When the exercise started, Yosetsu said to Izuku, "So Midoriya."

The green haired boy picked up a hint of knowing seriousness in Yosetsu's tone. "What's up, Awase?"

"According to the betting pool that the student body had going," Yosetsu began, "Momo is the girl everyone figures is the one you're most likely to have a crush on."

Blushing in embarrassment, Izuku said, "I know."

"Just to give you fair warning," Yosetsu went on, the seriousness in his tone never fading, "If Momo DOES turn out to be the girl among our year that you're crushing on, I'm willing to fight you for her."

Izuku looked surprised by Yosetsu's admittion. "You have a crush on Yaoyorozu?"

"You saw how I was smiling back when I was partnered with Momo for an exercise, right?" Yosetsu asked, "Yeah, it's because I got a very serious-"

Izuku held up a hand to cut Yosetsu off. Giving him a calm and reassuring smile, Izuku said, "There's no need to worry about it, Awase-kun. Yaoyorozu is not the girl that I have a crush on, so you're free to-"

"What did you say just now, Green Bean?!" Hizashi exclaimed, cutting Izuku off and making him turn to see that Hizashi, as well as the rest of the men who were supervising the exercise, standing there looking at him and to a lesser extent Yosetsu. Hizashi, as well as to a lesser extent Sekijiro and Ryo, looked surprised whereas Aizawa looked calmly amused.

Gesturing to Yosetsu, Izuku explained to the teachers, "Awase here told me that he has feelings for Yaoyorozu and he warned me he'd fight me for her if it came down to it. I was simply reassuring him that I do not have any romantic feelings for Yaoyorozu, so he doesn't have to worry about me getting in his way." Arching a wry eyebrow, Izuku asked, "Why, how many UA staff members bet on me having a crush on Yaoyorozu?"

"Over half of the total staff," Aizawa replied dryly, a growing hint of amusement in his expression. Izuku's eyes widened with shocked surprise; even discounting Toshinori as he wasn't allowed to place a bet due to knowing the answer, over half the UA staff members meant that loads and loads of people had made wrong bets. The green-haired boy hoped that this was not going to blow up TOO badly.

END, CHAPTER THIRTY

Author's notes;

It's gonna blow up worse than Izuku could ever expect as there's also the betting pool the student body has going. Putting that aside, this chapter sees the 1-A and 1-B class members get details about the result of endeavor showing up to make his mark after Hawks and Majestic caught the nomu Hood. Tsuyu is called into a UA staff meeting that Mera from (the remains of) the HPSC is attending to work out a game plan to deal with Tsuyu's little siblings. Word of the UA staff's betting pool gets out, inspiring the student body to have their own, and both will see a lot of bet changes in the next chapter due to Izuku confirming it's NOT Yaoyorozu he's crushing on. By the way, the next chapter may take a while as I'm out of what I have prepped in backlog.
