I know I said in other stories that I would update on either Sundays or Saturdays, well happy Labor day!
I had the day off and deiced to work on this.
Once again, this is for Riseoftheblossom. Go and check her stuff out!
Remember, no beta so all mistakes are mine.
Kakashi was right.
They really didn't need sleep. Sakura figured that out when she opened her eyes and felt as well rested as she felt once she got to Hell. Though, she didn't like the wake up call she received.
A girl with long blonde hair and light blue eyes was staring at her, which made the pinkette uneasy.
"Hi!" The blonde said, kneeling at the edge of her bed, a little too chipper for whatever time it was down there.
Sakura blinked twice before sitting herself up in her new bed. She looked at this new girl with a surprised expression but relaxed when she figured this new person wouldn't do any harm.
"Who… are you?" Sakura questioned.
"My name is Ino. I assume you're new? Kakashi told us about you."
Us…?
Sakura looked around to find people in the other beds; a girl with red hair and glasses was on the bed beside her. Ino stood up and went to her own bed in the other corner beside Kakashi's bed. This other girl looked her age as well, though she was curious.
"...why is there a man staying in a room full of younger girls?" Sakura asked aloud, a little confused.
"What? Oh, Kakashi? No, he doesn't stay in this room but sometimes he sits in our beds when he wants to get away from his own crazy roommates." Ino explained with a shrug.
"He's basically allowed to do whatever he wants when he wants without any consequences,"
Sakura nodded her head.
"So whose bed is that then?"
"That is Tenten's bed, but she is currently running an errand of sorts… I think? I'm not entirely sure. That person beside you is Karin. She's a bit of an obsessive bitch but she's pretty cool beyond that."
Sakura waved at Karin. The red head scoffed and got off the bed to storm out of the room.
"Don't mind her. She's mad because you're the new plaything. It used to be her but you're now here." Ino told the other woman, not minding the whole gossip thing.
Sakura nodded her head once again, sitting up even more to stretch her arms behind her back.
"So what do we do around here?"
Ino hummed and thought for a moment.
"Basically whatever the demon brothers wants us to do. I mean, we have daily tasks and when they want something specific they send Kakashi to get us. It's nothing harsh or anything… usually."
"Usually?" the newcomer questioned.
"Yeah. Sometimes we have to lift things, clean large rooms or deliver something to Madara… which I never wish that on you." Ino explained with a shiver.
"Okay… Who is Madara?"
Ino shook her head.
"I'm surprised Kakashi didn't explain all of this to you. Oh well, you have me now and I'm much better at it anyway. To answer your question, Madara is in charge of everything here. Something humans would call "Satan" or the "devil." We just call him Madara."
"I really am in Hell…" Sakura mumbled to herself, letting the realization hit her again.
"Yeah. You are. It isn't too bad to be honest. We could be someplace else doing other things for other people, but I personally think we are lucky to get the Demon Brothers. They're pretty relaxed. We could have gotten Obito or Fugaku to rule over us but we lucked out."
Getting too much information for one day, Sakura nodded, her head turning to face the door when a brown haired girl with buns came in to sit on the bed Kakashi sat in earlier.
"I swear, I'm going to kill him one day…" The brunette griped, bringing a foot up on the bed so she could rub it.
"We've been through this before Tenten, we're already dead. You can't kill Kakashi because he's already dead, but what did he do?" Ino went on in a tone that said they've had this conversation before.
"Get this. Itachi had asked Kakashi to rearrange their office, but he 'had to show someone around' and told me to do it! I hope that new bitch is happy-"
"Tenten, this is the 'new bitch' though her name is… Wait, what is your name again?"
"...Sakura." She told them meekly. Tenten held in a laugh.
"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to call you a bitch."
"It's okay. I would be mad too." The pink haired woman smiled, not bothered by the comment in the least. Being a nurse she's heard worse. Speaking of which..
"Uhm… do you mind if I ask you guys a personal question?"
Both Ino and Tenten shook their heads, curious to know what Sakura was going to say.
"Do you guys know how you died, How you ended up here?"
Ino sighed while Tenten simply laughed.
"I do, surprisingly. Do you really want to know?"
Sakura nodded her head, hoping Ino would keep going. The blonde took a deep breath and began to speak.
"Long story short, I died when I was 19 in a drunk driving accident. Yeah, normally that doesn't earn you a place in Hell, but I was the one driving. Killed everyone else in the car. And before you asked, we stole the liquor out of my mom's cabinet. No one gave it to us"
The new girl felt bad about what was said.
Tenten cleared her throat.
"I guess it could be said that I was murdered. I was living on the streets and no one really cared about prostitutes in the 1950s."
Sakura gasped at that.
"But, none of that warrants a stay in Hell... does it?"
"Sakura, you're too optimistic. I selfishly killed people when I died and Tenten here was having premarital sex. Those things don't necessarily give you a one way ticket to heaven. Besides, how did you die? We told you our stories so spill."
"I-I don't know." Sakura sighed joylessly.
"One moment I was getting off the bus, then there was a bright light and here I am. I have no clue. How did you guys find out?"
Tenten began to scratch her chin as she thought.
"I've been here for a while, but Shisui told me how I died. I'm not sure about Ino though-"
"Kakashi told me. He was the first person I saw when I got here." The blonde said.
"Do you think he would tell me how I died then?"
"I don't see why not, but both Shisui and Kakashi would want something in return. They're both self-serving like that, but they aren't too bad once you get to know them."
"I am not self serving…" A voice said from the entrance to their room. Kakashi was standing there with a blank expression on his face. He looked at Sakura and motioned for her to follow him. Quickly, the girl got up from her bed and followed him out. As they walked, Kakashi spoke up.
"You're being summoned. Sasuke would like to see you."
Sakura nodded her head. She remembered Itachi and Shisui, so it was easy to assume Sasuke was the one of the brothers she hadn't met yet. Maybe he would be the one telling her how she died. That would be great.
Once they were in the office, Kakashi told Sakura to sit down while he went to get the man who called for her.
"It may be a minute, so wait here please." Kakashi instructed her, leaving Sakura in the room by herself.
For some reason, this made her a little nervous. Yes, the other girls said they were with the nicest people of Hell, but she hadn't met this Sasuke yet so she could only imagine how he was. Maybe he was quite like Itachi, or as bold as Shisui. Either way the thought made her a little shaky.
It took a few minutes before a man taller than her appeared. He had longer hair than the others, his bang covered one eye but he seemed more annoyed that he was there than the other two were. She personally thought he was the more handsome out of the three, but that opinion may change. She still didn't know who he was.
"Sakura," He said, staring her down a little.
She looked up at him and smiled, which surprised the demon in front of her.
"Sit," He demanded.
She did as asked, feeling a bit uneasy for the time being.
"Good. Because there's something I need. Nothing too big for your first day."
Sakura nodded. Apparently she had been doing that a lot lately.
"I don't like how Kakashi arranged this room. Do that for me, will you?"
Sakura stared at Sasuke for a moment, her mouth opened. She knew that it was just done, so why is Sasuke asking her to do it? She thought it wasn't going to be anything too big, like he had assured her.
"O-of course. But if it was just done, why ask me to redo it?"
"Did you not hear me? I said I didn't like what Kakashi had done with the room. Don't worry, I'll tell you where everything goes."
Sakura glared at Sasuke before standing to do as she was told.
"Be careful, I wouldn't want you to pull your back out. That would make for a bad first day, wouldn't you think?"
I didn't know the perfect spot to end this, so I'm so sorry if this was a bad spot.
Kudos will make me feel better though.
Thanks for reading!
