When Buffy gets a job somewhere other than the Doublemeat Palace, she faces a whole lot of new stresses, and completely different challenges. Not so much a Season 6 rewrite as an office story featuring Buffy and her life on the Hellmouth. Originally begun in 2007, though only a few chapters were ever previously posted.

When Willow breaks 'thy will be done' spell Buffy is heart broken. She wants to feel that loved again, and she came up with a plan to get that. Pretend that the spell was never broken, let the scoobies spend all their time trying to break a spell that isn't even there while she and Spike see if they can be happy together as a couple.

While visiting Joyce in the hospital, Buffy learns some hard truths about the summer she spent in LA.
