Malcolm Reynolds is MIA leaving behind his 12 year-old daughter, Ellie Reynolds. Refusing to believe that her father is lost forever she vows to find him. 11 years pass and Ellie is the Captain of Serenity and her first mate - Jayne Cobb. Ellie, Jayne, and crew travel about the 'verse taking jobs to keep 'em flying and to get Ellie closer to finding her father.

The Alliance made a mistake with the G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate on Miranda. They also make a mistake when they let a psychic go from the Academy. What happens when she shows up on Serenity. Will her presence have an affect on River? Her being there will throw multiple wrenches in Mal's plan, one of them being the cold showers he has to take because of her.

Jayne isn't too impressed with River when she brings her silly Christmas ideas onto the ship, but maybe a tradition she calls "Mistletoe" will change his mind. Post BDM, no smut.

She sits on a throne of nightmares, needles piercing the dreams that dance about her consciousness, spinning and leaping and swaying to the music that makes no sound. This is my first fan fiction, so reviews are very shiny. I have to change the rating from K to T because of Violence. It's after the movie, somewhat, but the difference is Wash is alive but Inara is dead. Sorry, not sorry. I really hope every Browncoat enjoys it.
