This is a drabble in which Mal thinks over some recent news. Rayne!

This takes place during and after the BDM, so, naturally, there are spoilers. Wash's POV. -ON HIATUS-

River wants to make sure her memories are her own. So she keeps things, small things, to remember what is really important. Pre-BDM. Oneshot.

Inara is forced to put theory to the test when Kaylee requests a visual demonstration of her lessons on seduction. Unfortunately for the companion, her subject just happens to be an irate captain. Mal/Inara, Kaylee/Simon. Post BDM. Rated M for sexual content.

My first Firefly story. Set post-Serenity. Light for Firefly- the light in River Tam's eyes.

They got back just after nightfall, reporting that there were no other survivors—Inara was the only one. Book was surprised when he saw Mal look up briefly from Inara's form and whisper "Sheh Sheh" To the heavens.

"She hates complications." Loving the one person you know you shouldn't inevitably means complications - and neither Mal nor Inara is prepared to handle that.

Malcolm Reynolds receives a piece of mail from the last person he'd ever expect – Saffron. Dying in prison, she begs Mal to deliver an enclosed letter to Durran. This sets in motion a series of events that will alter the course of life onboard Serenity.

Post-War Stories, Inara and Simon help the captain through a tough night. This is the follow-on to 'A Place of Safety' and takes place the same night. A few people have asked for this - I hope you enjoy it!

The Lady Tam was surely dressed for floor-twirling antics, and not the foufy-skirt type like what Kaylee preferred, nor the violent sort that had ended with Jayne on the floor, neither.

The look on her face was clear enough to read, little Miss was on the hunt and Jayne was her intended prey. Absently leaning in closer Zoe could only wonder what the merc had done to raise River's ire.

Simon being the man and brother he his needs to speak with her, but what he finds is a shock even if, in that back of his mind, he saw part of it coming. Some slight spoilers for the Movie, but not enough to ruin anything for you.
