Years ago, in the 1930s, a young boy and his parents saw a show of a dancing bear named Fredbear. This show sparked the imagination of the boy to wit whose ambition growing up was the recreate such joy as he felt for the children of future generations. This young boy was named Billy. Well, his parents called him that, but legally, his name was William Afton.

Years passed and as William worked as an accountant in New Harmony, he pondered how he could replicate such an act. He loved children-at first, he did-and he wanted to bring such an inspiration and joyous act to the children of the future, but how? He was, indeed, highly intelligent, but he was not creative. He knew how to run a business from his time at the University of Utah, but he did not know how to bring his ambitions to fruition.

In the university, William met who would become his wife, Clara Schmidt, soon to become Clara Afton. It was she who pushed him to pursue his dream, not for financial gain, but for the sake of his happiness. Therefore, he began brainstorming character designs and names. He decided to keep the name "Fredbear" but changed his design from a brown bear to a yellowish bear with a purple hat and bow tie. Thinking it strange that Fredbear was alone, he made a friend for him; a yellow rabbit named "Bonnie the Bunny." He showed his drawings to Clara and they immediately stitched together costumes for them.

To begin, William set up roadside attractions for the two much like the one that had inspired him. Clara portrayed Fredbear and William portrayed Bonnie. The smiles on the faces of the children that they performed for were reward enough for him, but they did accumulate enough funds to open up a permanent home; Fredbear's family Diner. For William, life was perfect.

However, that was not to last. A competitor saw William's success and wanted to capitalize on it. A rival restaurant opened up across the street called "Chica's Party World" and that place began to steal William's business. Everything he had worked so hard for began to crumble before him.

It was the same premise; a children's restaurant and arcade with performing mascots. However, whoever had built the mascots was more skillful than William in that the animals looked as though they were real-well, as real as a robotic character could seem. After some research, he found out that these robots were made by a guy named Henry. He had never seen this Henry before, but he already hated him.

Nevertheless, this rival continued to grow. He tried to hold on, but could barely afford to pay his staff. He went bankrupt soon after only for Henry to buy him out of it. He was humiliated by this act of weakness on his part. What kind of man allows himself to be bought by anyone? Let alone a rival? However, he now had three children, two boys and a girl. No matter his hatred toward Henry, he had to provide for his family.

Soon after the merging of Chica's Party World and Fredbear's Family Diner, the franchise gained more and more popularity in the New Harmony area. As their popularity grew, they launched a new company; Fazbear Entertainment. With that came new characters, a cartoon starring those characters and Fredbear, and a new pizzeria in Hurricane, where Henry lived, that featured the new characters, leaving the original mascots to Fredbear's Family Diner exclusively. These events surpassed William's ambitions.

Henry soon became a part of William's family, though he was still envious of him. His daughter, Charlotte, became best friends with William's youngest son, Evan. William's oldest child, Michael, even grew to love him.

However, good things too must pass. In just a year, the very foundation of Fazbear Entertainment will crumble, leaving the entire company and the families that touched it devastated.

A/N: I just decided to redo this story. It was unnecessarily wordy and I just was not happy with it. So, I decided to remake it, but this time focusing on Evan instead of exclusively William. Sure, there will be some scenes with William and Henry, but the majority of the story will be focused on Evan. I will leave the original story up just in case someone wants to read it, but this is the main story from here on out. Thank you for reading and feel free to favorite and review!
