2 years later:

Jeremy and Meredith had married. Selena grew up into a beautiful and adorable person. The village loved her more and more. But, Katherine still felt a little jealous and excluded. She and Selena were spending less time with each other now because Selena was always with her new friends now or reading somewhere else.

The scene opens with a person in a dress running through the forest, while mounted on a horse.

The person finally arrives at her destiny. She sees a picnic made and a man seated on the floor next to his horse in front a place that had a waterfall.

The person came closer with her horse and climbed down from it. She seats on the other side of the picnic, next to her horse.

- I'm sorry father for being late! - The person says

The man, who turned out to be King Jeremy, turns to his daughter and said with a smile.

- It's okay, daughter. There isn't much time that I arrived. So, where were you? - King Jeremy asks

- I went to the baker and borrowed a book about Snow White. I'm gonna read it later - Selena says

King Jeremy nods his head and turns to the place in front him.

- Do you know what day is tomorrow? - King Jeremy asks

- My birthday? - Selena asks

- Yes and something more - The king says

Selena only looks at him confused.

- It's the day you turn fourteen, sweetie. The age where you need to choose a partner for yourself - The king says

- Again, father? I already told you that I don't desire to choose anyone else - Selena says

- But, someday you'll have to. You'll find a love who will stand by your side no matter what happens and will love you unconditionally. That person will understand you by who you are and love you despite your flaws. There will be hard times when you both will fight, but in the end will make everything better again. You will stay together forever, even in death - Jeremy says

- Wow, even death? I doubt it! - Selena says

- But, it's gonna happen, like you or not. We don't comand our hearts. It just happens - King Jeremy says

- And when will I know that I met the right person? - Selena asks shy

- You'll know at the right moment - King Jeremy says while smiling

- That's what you felt for mother? - Selena asks

- Yes! She was my sun! A light in the darkness that was my life - King Jeremy says

- What do you mean by that? - Selena asks

- Nothing, princess. Nothing that you have to worry about, alright? - King Jeremy says

- Alright. Let's just enjoy this moment before you have to go back to Meredith again - Selena murmurs this last part

- Selena ... - King Jeremy sighs

- Sorry, Dad! It's just that we never spent anytime together anymore. Now, it's always Meredith and Work - Selena says sad

- Selena, I'm sorry if you left out. But, I'm helping Meredith to get used to these things, you know. It' s not easy for someone to enter a Kingdom's business. But, no matter what happens or how busy I can get, you'll always be my priority, okay? - King Jeremy says while holding his daughter's chin.

- Okay! I love you, father! - Selena says while smiling

- And I love you more more, my dear! - The king says while hugging his daughter and kissing her cheek.

At Night:

Selena couldn't sleep, so she took the book that was under her pillow and started reading. When she was reading the part that Snow White runs aways from her the hunter, Selena feels a pang in her chest, like something was wrong. She got out of her bed and went to her father's bedroom. She slowly opened the door, but what she saw would traumatize her for the rest of her life. Her father's body on the floor with his eyes closed, not breathing. Her stepmother Meredith was on top of him.

- Dad? - Selena whispers in shock

Her stepmother looked up at her with so much hatred. Selena runs pretty scared, but not before hearing her stepmother ordering the guards to get her. Selena enters her bedroom and puts a chair on the door to stop the anyone from coming in. Years ago, her father her a secret passeway under her bed in case something bad happened. Selena pushes her bed and tries to open the passeway, while hearing the guards coming. She was desesperate now. But, finally she is able to open it. She takes the book and climbs down. She closes it and starts running until she finds an exit and continues running. She is crying while running under the rain. She finally arrives at her destiny, to the place she and her father always came. She lies down, with her arms crossed and her head on top, only showing her hair and the backside. She sobs.

- Dad - sobs - Dad - sobs - Why? - Why? - Selena contiues sobbing and crying until a hand touches her. She lifts her head up and saw a boy, with dark eyes and dark hair looking at her. Selena noticed he had tails. The boys was a mix of human and fish. She asks:

- Who are you? - Selena whispers

The boy only puts a finger on her lips and takes her slowly to the water. Selena didn't even hesitated. She was memorized by such a beauty. Right now, she didn't even mind if she was gonna die. Her only precious person died and now she was completely alone.

The boy took her underwater to hider her. They kept staring at each other in the water while the guards had arrived and noticed the girl wasn't there. When they leave, they both go up to the surface of the water. Selena asks while being very close to the boy's face.

- How did you ...? - Selena couldn't understand how he knew the guards were near there.

- Super Hearing - The boys says while smiling at Selena

- Thanks for saving me - Selena says

- You are Welcome - The boys says

- You didn't answer my question. Who are you? - Selena asks already tired and almost closing her eyes. The boy only puts his finger on her lips and everything turns black.
