Monday

March 3rd

2003

Rebecca is alone in the house and there is a cold chill, surrounding her. She hears voices calling out her name and fears she is losing her mind. Rebecca looks in the Basement and finds nobody down there. Then, she searches in the Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room. Completely empty of any other persons. The Voices still call out to her. Cautiously and nervously, the twenty three year old, ascends the staircase and is about to head into Harry and Bethany's room, when she is distracted by a massive cold wind, coming from the direction of her bedroom. Rebecca slowly walks to her bedroom door and knowing how scared she is, she still turns the door handle and the bedroom door flies open. To her horror, she sees the corpses of the one's she loved, Linda Perry, Clara Barton and Emma Wilson sitting up staring at her, calling out for her to help them. Rebecca hyperventilates and stumbles backwards, as the three dead girls manoeuvre towards her. Then, Rebecca turns around and is met by the ghost of Gloria Lang, who taunts her, 'It's all your fault.' Rebecca screams and slips and falls through the Bannister and towards ground.

Rebecca jolts up from her Nightmare, trembling. She scours the room and finds herself back in reality. Taking a deep breath, she has a brief flashback from the previous evening. The mysterious Brunette following her through the Central Park Fairground. Rebecca stares into Space, as she comes to a possible realization.

"Oh my God," Rebecca says to herself.

Rebecca and Joshua do there utmost best, to put an act on in front of Bethany, whom they intend to have incarcerated very soon, for her evil crimes. And that goes for her psycho son, Benjamin too. Bethany claims she is heading into Manhattan for a few hours and is happy to allow Harry to acquaint himself to his long lost son. When Bethany heads out, Rebecca curses her silently.

"Fuck off, you rotten Bitch," Rebecca seethes. " Same goes for that looney son of yours."

"Take it easy Becks," Joshua calms. " We don't want her getting suspicious."

Rebecca relaxes, with vengeance a main priority in mind. Considering, Bethany had her Biological mother, Clara murdered on Christmas Eve.

"I can't believe Benjamin was her Bastard son all along," Rebecca states.

"And I can't believe you Lesbian affair with her," Joshua replies.

"Tu Shay. I'm not proud of it. It's just...I'm kinda messed up."

"Yeah, but you're not a Psycho. It's shit that we know few."

"I did cover for my Vampire Lover - Linda. She couldn't help it. She told me she was inadvertently infected by Harry's Brother's second wife, Lea, before she died. She was having an affair with Christopher."

"Harry's adopted nephew?" Joshua figures.

"Right," Rebecca agrees.

"What happened to him then?"

"It wouldn't surprise me if either Bethany or Benjamin got to him and...you know."

"Well, with the tape recorder, I've got safely tucked away. It might give us some answers, to give us a plan to take, her, Bates and Dominic down."

While, Joshua takes Harry for a stroll near the estuary, to show him the Tape recorder, Rebecca makes plans for Emma's funeral. While she's on the phone, she has flashbacks of the Scarlett, pursuing her in Manhattan and her falling in a river in 1989.

While, Joshua goes into town to find Benjamin, Rebecca tries to convince Harry to go to the Police, following Joshua revealing the tapes contents to him. After Rebecca's listens to Bethany and Dominic's inadvertent confessions to Joe Hayes, it's just instinct that she would consider, Harry does the right thing. Harry states that Bethany's connection to the Cosmos could alert on call operatives to act and they could be caught off guard. The door opens and Joshua enters, informing the two, that Benjamin has accepted his fony peace offering, the next evening.

Rebecca awakes at 11:15 am, with a throbbing headache and she shuffles downstairs and goes to grab a coffee and aspirin. Rebecca finds a note by Bethany, claiming Harry has suffered a repercussion of his leg injury and had to rush him to Hospital. Rebecca finds these new events suspicous.

Rebecca and Joshua head into town, to find Benjamin, who is not at work. They then head over to look for Bethany, who should have worked a shift , but has also not turned up. They both get concerned and suspect, their worst fears. Joshua suggests going to the authorities, but Rebecca reminds him of the Cosmos.

While, both, Rebecca and Joshua wait anxiously at home, a Weather report comes on the TV, of a severe Thunderstorm and torrential downpours going through New York City and Long Island. Bethany arrives home and claims Harry requires a second operation and that her phone battery went flat.

Later, Joshua attempts to call for a Pizza, but the phone goes dead, due to the Heavy Thunderstorm, that's ongoing. He goes to Benjamin's Cabin House, leaving Rebecca alone with Bethany. Rebecca queries if she can speak to Harry? Bethany suggests he is too tired to talk and was sedated, due to severe pain. Bethany heads to the Kitchen to fetch some wine. Rebecca gets nervous. Bethany returns and dims the lights, as Lightening profusely flashes through the window and the continuous sound of rain lashes against the window. Bethany pours their glasses and she sits across from, somebody that is planning her downfall.

"Becky, love, what do you think of me?" Bethany blurts.

"I'm sorry, what?" Rebecca frowns.

"What I mean is, have I treated you well?"

"Bethany where's this going?"

"I miss us. You and me."

Rebecca feels annoyed and on tender hooks, as she sips her wine. Bethany is attempting manipulate her again.

"Don't start that again," Rebecca suggests.

"Why?" Bethany sniggers.

"You're not the person I expected to live with."

"You were not the person I expected to live with, but I love you."

"Do you? Or am I your sex toy, you try to win over, when you think you're getting found out?"

"Everything, I've sacrificed, to save us, was because I love you."

"What would Dad say, if he found out, you're bed hopping with your step daughter?"

Bethany looks at Rebecca confidently and seems completely unnerved by subtle hints, that she is giving.

"What would your father say, if he found out, you were not his daughter?" Bethany adds.

"Well, it wouldn't be worse, than your dirty secrets stashed in the cupboard?" Rebecca counters.

"Oh the Cosmos."

"And the rest."

There's a huge thunder clap, as Bethany suspects Rebecca knows more than she's letting on. Rebecca starts to feel uneasy and tiresome. Almost like she is about to passed out, but refrains herself from doing so. Bethany smirks and places down her glass. She kicks off her shoes.

"It's getting hot in here isn't it?" Bethany puffs.

"If you say so," Rebecca groans.

Bethany then takes off her skirt and reveals black stockings. When Rebecca sees this, she hallucinates that Linda Perry is undressing in front of her. Bethany has drugged her and Rebecca is seeing things.

"And the rest too?" Bethany teases.

"Linda behave yourself, you naughty naughty woman."

Rebecca has succumbed to the drugs and controlled.

"Lets get hot and wet," Bethany encourages.

Rebecca visualizes herself in the shower with Linda Perry, whom she once loved and protected when she was a vampire. In fact, it's Bethany taking advantage of her and thrusting against her, with her leg rapped around her waist. The radio is on in the shower room, during the sex act, playing the 1962 song, 'Do You Love Me,' By the Contours.
