#15- Double Date-Double Trouble!
Marinette, Luka, Juleka and Rose decide to go on a double date tonight, Marinette was able to make a reservation at the "Golden Sparrow" Paris' most exclusive Chinese resterant, let's just say being half-chinese and having designed the the resterant's center statue gets you a lot of social points.
As the group make their orders, Marinette told Luka about how well she and the Miraculous Girls have been doing, although HawkMoth had upped his game, they have managed to beat him back, Luka was most impressed with Kagami/Azure-Orochi, she uses Seccond Chance in ways he never thought of.
In time, the waiter comes with their orders and the couples dig in!
Everyone was enjoying themselves until...
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE A TABLE FOR US!" a familar voice growled.
Marinette turned to find, Audrey Bougois, Andre, Chloe and Zoe at the entrance.
Marinette half expected Chloe to be the one yelling, but it was her mother!
Chloe and Zoe were giving off a "Oh dear god, just kill us now godamnit!" vibe.
It just further cemented how much Chloe had changed, with Zoe's help of course!
"Mom...stop..you are going to get us kicked out!" growled Chloe.
"Honey, she's right, we'll just wait for a table to open..." Andre said, Zoe nodding.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT! i had reserved us a spot here months in advance, and i will not wait just because this idot didn't keep a table open for us!" She growled, "Who did you let in here that could be more important than the Style Queen herself?"
The attendant pointed to Marinette's table...
"Fuck Me..." the bluenette thought.
"Ha..ha...HAHAHAHAHA! this urchin! her! how is she more important than yours truly?" Audrey asked.
"well, she helped designed the central statue, so my boss gave her a free dinner!" the attendant explained.
Audrey walked her way to Marinette's table, "Stand up.."
"Huh?" Marinette asked.
"I said...STAND UP!" Audrey said with more authority.
Marinette did as she was told as Audrey looked her over.
"You must Cindy and Zippy's friend." she said, apparently she still had a habbit of not remembering her own daughter's names, "I must say, i'm not impressed, i've seen some of your work, and that statue is a nice touch, but it's obviously an act of dumb luck."
"The Fuck?" Zoe thought, Chloe's fists tightened, was this how she treated Marinette in the past?
"There are two types of people in the world, those who get crushed, and those who do the crushing, you fall in the former, oh sure, you have some design talent and some impresive sewing skills, but at the end of the day, it's not just about skill, but about where you are in the social ladder, you can design the most amazing dress in the world, surpassing Gabriel himself, but at the end of the day, you're still just a baker's daughter..." Audrey said.
Marinette lowered her head, until...
"DON"T YOU DARE!" a familiar voice said.
Chloe and Zoe, and even Andre stepped foward.
"Don't you dare bow your head Mari, you are ten times the designer SHE is, you designed for Jagged Stone, Clara Nightingale, you have made thousands of euros from you comissions alone, don't you dare let her tell you otherwise!" Roared Chloe.
"You helped reunite me with my children, you have done more for this city with your kindness alone than i could ever hope to achieve." explained Andre.
Zoe walked up to Audrey and did the one thing she should have done...WHAM!
She delivered a deadly right kick to the side of Audrey's head!
"Huh!" Marinette said, eyes widened.
"Damn..." said Juleka.
"Eeep!" squeaked Rose.
Everyone in the resterant clapped for joy, some even reccorded the event.
"You have embarrassed us in front of everyone for the last time Audrey!" Andre roared, "Now, go wait in the car until you can behave yourself!"
"How dare you! i am no child!" growled.
"Now Woman!" he barked.
"Hmph! we WILL be discussing this at home!" growled Audrey as she left.
Marinette walked over to the three, "If you guys want, we can share my table..."
"Thank you my dear, if there were more people like you, the world would be a way better place." Andre said with a bow.
Audrey was in the car, "How dare he! treat me like i am some sort of child, since when did he grow a spine!" she thought, unaware of the butterfly that landed on one of her gloves.
"Dragon Queen, i am HawkMoth, you have burned by your family, your husband and even your own children, i can give you the power to burn them instead, all i ask in return is Ladybug and Jinxx Noir's Miraculous." he said.
"By my royal decree, i shall reduce all your foes to ashes!" Audrey roared as she transformed...
Back at the resterant...
Everyone was enjoying their dinner, Andre saw how much Chloe and Zoe have grown, no longer was Chloe spitefull, or bratty, she was a changed woman.
"I really thought Mom could change, we tried so hard..." Chloe said.
"Chloe, people cannot change if they do not want to, you WANTED to be a better person, your mother didn't..." Marinette explained.
"Chloe, you mother...she wanted only the best for herself, somwhere along the line she lost herself in the fame and glory and admiration..." Andre explained.
Just then, a powerfull Explosion shook the building!
Everyone turned to face the source of the explosion.
She was a large, pink anthropomorphic Dragon with a ruby necklace, she was sporting a silver-plated gauntlet with claws and a long tail with a poisonous tip,
"Audrey?" cried Andre
"That's Dragon Queen to you, peasent, and for your treachery, i shall reduce you to ashes!" she said
She then fired a powerfull green flame from her gauntlet at Andre, reducing him to ashes within secconds.
"DAD!" both sister said.
"Girls' Room, now! Marinette said, Luka understood and ran to help the people escape!
Once inside each girl's respected Kwami appeared.
"Well, that was...unpleasent..." said Plagg. Stompp nodded in agreement.
"What, the fact that Audrey was Akumatized, AGAIN! or that she just fried dad!" Zoe asked.
"We'll figure things out after we de-evilize your mom!" said Marinette, Tikki nodded.
"Tikki, Spots On!"
"Plagg, Claws out!"
"Trixx, Let's pounce!"
"Pollen, Buzz on!"
"Stommp, Charge!"
And with that, The Miraculous Girls were ready to face this new threat!
