As James and Lily made their way towards the gardens, their hearts raced with anticipation. What would they find? Would their daughter be there? The sound of laughter and music in the distance heightened their excitement.

And then, as they stepped into the garden, James looked up at the sky and couldn't believe his eyes. There, soaring gracefully on a broom, was their daughter. Hermione was flying with remarkable skill, executing maneuvers that left her father in awe. He watched in surprise, realizing that he didn't recognize any of the moves she was performing. It made him wonder who had taught her to fly like that.

With his eyes wide open and his heart pounding, James couldn't contain his astonishment. He blurted out, "She flies... my daughter flies!"

Lily couldn't help but laugh at her husband's reaction. She teasingly remarked, "Oh, James, if you think this is surprising..."

James, still trying to process the sight before him, explained, "I'm just surprised, that's all."

Lily playfully added, "James 'I'm the best player' Potter can't believe his daughter is flying and playing Quidditch, I seem to recall that when I was pregnant with Hermione, you wanted all our children to have your 'amazing' talent at Quidditch."

James, now blushing slightly, scratched the back of his neck and admitted, "You're right. I'm nervous, okay?"

In the distance, James and Lily spotted three approaching figures. The taller of the three, James assumed, must be Theo. Walking beside Theo was a blonde boy, who held his daughter's hand. James couldn't help but frown slightly. His daughter seemed too young to have a boyfriend. However, he didn't dwell on it for long, as his focus shifted to the young woman his daughter had become. Notably, she had grown taller, her hair was now brown with a slight curl, and she possessed the same blue eyes as Isabelle. Those blue eyes now gazed at James with a hint of shyness.

Unaware of his own surprise, James blurted out, "You're taller."

He immediately regretted his words as he realized how they might have sounded. Lily, standing beside him, quickly interjected, "Excuse him, he's really nervous."

Holding onto the blonde boy's hand, Mia replied, "I think we all are."

James, regaining his composure, expressed his apologies. "I'm really sorry for my earlier comment, Hermione, It's just the last time I saw you, you were three years old."

Mia unintentionally tightened her grip on the blonde boy's hand, which James couldn't help but notice.

"Sorry. I forgot you go by another name. What should I call you?" James said scratching the back of his neck

Mia, still feeling a bit flustered, replied. "I prefer to go by Mia," James nodded, acknowledging her choice.

Lily, flashed a warm smile at Mia and asked, "Mia, would you mind introducing us to your friends?"

Mia's shoulders relaxed further, and she gestured to the two boys. "Of course," she replied with a friendly tone. "This is Theo," she pointed to the black-haired boy, who gave a small wave, "and this is Jace," she said, indicating the blonde boy who had Mia's hand intertwined with his "We've been friends since we were little."

"Mia, are you studying at Hogwarts?" she inquired eyes sparkling with interest

Mia shook her head. "No, we're actually studying at Durmstrang," she replied. "With Theo and Jace here. We'll be starting our third year next year."

Lily's smile widened as she found common ground. "That's fascinating," she said. "You know, your brother, Harry, goes to Hogwarts."

Mia's eyes widened in surprise. "Harry?" she exclaimed. "How old is he?"

Lily chuckled. "He just turned will be starting his second year next year."

"You fly with such impressive technique! I've never seen anything like it." James said wanting to know his daughter further.

Jace, with a proud smile, replied, "Mia, Theo, and I are the chasers for Durmstrang's Quidditch team."

James's eyes lit up with excitement. "Chasers, huh? I was a Gryffindor chaser back in my Hogwarts days. I've always loved Quidditch. Who taught you the moves you're practicing now?"

Theo, who had been listening to the conversation, chimed in, "Actually, Mia came up with most of our plays. Thanks to her, we've been undefeated in both the War Games and Quidditch."

James turned his attention to Mia, a mix of surprise and pride in his eyes. "You created those plays?"

Mia nodded with a modest smile. "Yeah, in my free time, apart from dueling, I like to fly. It helps me relax and relieve stress."

Lily chimed in with a smile. "James does the same thing when he's nervous."

James, eager to learn more, suddenly asked, "War Games? What are those, Theo?"

Isabelle decided to join the conversation. "The War Games are one of Durmstrang's traditions," she explained. "At the end of each year, all the students compete against each other, fighting for first place in their respective years."

James's expression turned horrified and indignant. He turned to Isabelle, his voice tinged with disbelief. "How can you allow such a thing? They're kids!"

Theo, ever the calm and collected one, stepped in to clarify. "We've been the champions of our year since we entered Durmstrang, James. The War Games are actually a lot of fun. It's a way for students to showcase their magical abilities and strategic thinking. It's not as dangerous as it may sound."

James was still skeptical but willing to hear more. "Fun, you say?"

Theo nodded, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Oh yes, and we take great pride in defending our title. It's a unique experience that bonds us as students of Durmstrang."

Lily, with a curious expression, turned to Theo and asked, "What are the rules for the War Games?"

Theo leaned in and explained, "Well, pretty much anything goes, except for the Unforgivable Curses, of course. We also have some restrictions based on year levels. For instance, a second-year student couldn't face off against a fourth-year student. It's mainly because the spell knowledge and magical abilities differ significantly between the years."

Lily nodded in understanding and then turned to Jace, intrigued by something she had heard earlier. "So, you've won the War Games two years in a row, is that true?"

Jace grinned proudly. "Yes, that's right. In Durmstrang, we're known as the Unholy Trinity."

James couldn't resist his curiosity and chimed in, "Unholy Trinity? Why do they call you that?"

Mia, with a hint of nostalgia in her voice, explained, "It's because we're legacies. Our mothers, when they were at Durmstrang, were known as the Holy Trinity."

At Mia's mention of their mothers, Lily's smile faded, and she looked down for a moment. Mia immediately noticed the change in her expression and felt a pang of guilt.

"I'm sorry," Mia said softly, addressing Lily.

Lily quickly reassured her. "No, Mia, it's perfectly fine. I understand. Isabelle is your mother, I'm a stranger to you."

James hesitated for a moment before addressing her daughter. "Mia, would it be possible for your- Lily and I to have a private conversation with you?"

Isabelle and Enzo nodded and walked back into the villa, leaving Jace,Theo, Mia, James, and Lily in the garden. However, Theo and Jace had remained in their places, not budging an inch.

Theo turned to Mia, his expression earnest. "Star, Jace and I will be nearby if you need anything. But you need some time alone to talk with them."

Jace leaned down and kissed Mia gently on the forehead. "Don't worry about us, princess. We've got your back."

As Mia was left alone with her parents, no one quite knew how to begin the conversation.

James decided to break the ice, albeit awkwardly. "You know, when we entered the garden, the song 'Somebody to Love' was playing."

Mia's eyes lit up with surprise. "You know that song?"

James exclaimed, "Of course! It's by the greatest band in existence."

Mia smiled warmly. "It's my favorite song."

James, his eyes shining, asked with a touch of disbelief, "Is that so?"

Mia nodded, feeling a connection. James continued, "When you were little, you loved that song too. You and Sirius would sing it during bath time."

Curious, Mia asked, "Who's Sirius?"

James smiled at the mention of his best friend. "Sirius is your uncle, Mia. He was also Harry's godfather. Sirius' little brother is your godfather. Would…Would you like to meet them sometime?"

Mia's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and she said, "I'd really like to meet the people who knew me when I was little."

James nodded warmly. "That sounds wonderful. Whenever you want to meet them, just send me a letter via owl, and we'll work out a date."

"What are your favorite classes at Durmstrang?" Lily was curious about her studies.

Mia thought for a moment before replying, "I love Defense Against the Dark Arts."

James's face lit up with enthusiasm. "That was my favorite subject at Hogwarts too! What's your favorite part of the syllabus?"

Mia smiled and shared, "I really enjoy Apparition, Non-Verbal Spells, and Occlumency."

Lily couldn't help but be impressed. "Those topics are usually covered in fifth grade and up at Hogwarts."

Mia chuckled for the first time all afternoon, "Things at Durmstrang don't work quite the same as they do at Hogwarts."

The conversation continued, Mia, James, and Lily began to find several common grounds. It was a small step toward building something stronger. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows in the garden, James and Lily realized that it was getting late. James cleared his throat, breaking the moment of silence that had settled over them.

"We should probably be heading back now," he said with a hint of reluctance. "But Mia, we want you to know that we'll find a way to make this work."

Mia nodded, her voice filled with sincerity. "I'm glad I got to meet you both. It means a lot to me."

Lily, feeling a bit shy but genuinely moved, asked, "Mia, would it be alright if I gave you a hug?"

Mia's eyes glistened with emotion as she nodded. Lily stepped closer and enveloped Mia in a warm, motherly hug. Tears welled up in Lily's eyes, and she whispered, "I love you, you've grown into such an amazing young lady."

James, who had been standing nearby, couldn't resist the urge to join in. He approached them and gently hugged both Mia and Lily. For the first time in eleven years, James had the two most important women in his life in his arms. It was a moment of pure happiness and fulfillment that he had longed for since the day Mia had been taken away from them.

With smiles that stretched from ear to ear, Lily and James arrived back at Potter Manor, their hearts filled with joy and a sense of newfound family. James couldn't contain his excitement and immediately hugged Lily, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"I think it went rather well, don't you?" he asked eagerly.

Lily grinned. "It went wonderfully, James. Our Hermione has grown into a remarkable young woman."

Waiting for them in the dining room were Sirius, Regulus, Narcissa, and Lucius, all of them looking expectantly at the couple who had just returned.

Sirius, unable to contain his impatience, blurted out, "Well, spill it! How did it go?"

James beamed with pride as he shared the exciting news. "Hermione plays Quidditch!"

Lily couldn't help but laugh. "Of all the things we discussed today, James chose to keep the Quidditch part to himself."

Regulus leaned forward, curious to hear more. "What else did you talk about?"

Lily shared the details with enthusiasm. "Your goddaughter is studying at Durmstrang and will be starting her third year next year."

James added, "She's an exceptional witch, mastering non-verbal spells and Occlumency at the age of fourteen."

Lucius raised an eyebrow in surprise. "At her age? How is that possible?"

James shrugged. "Apparently, they start young at Durmstrang."

Narcissa, always concerned about the well-being of those she cared for, asked, "Is my goddaughter happy?"

Lily nodded with excitement. "Oh, yes! She's been brought up in a loving environment and has two friends she's inseparable from."

James, however, couldn't help but voice his disapproval. "I don't like that blond one, Jace."

Sirius, curious as ever, asked, "Why not?"

Lily chuckled and shared the amusing detail. "James doesn't like Jace because Hermione and Jace didn't let go of each other's hands the entire time we were there."

Laughter filled the room as everyone realized that James's protective instincts were alive and well, especially when it came to his not-so-little princess.

James pouted, "She's not old enough to have a boyfriend."

Regulus, his curiosity piqued, asked, "Could we meet her sometime?"

James smiled warmly. "I told Hermione that if she wants to, we can arrange a meeting."

Sirius turned to James and asked, "Are you going to tell Harry about this?"

Lily nodded in agreement with Sirius. "Yes, we'll tell him calmly. You know how both Draco and Harry can be a whirlwind of energy, and we wouldn't want to overwhelm Hermione."

Just as they were discussing their plans, a Patronus in the form of a panther suddenly materialized in the dining room. Kingsley Shackelbolt's voice resonated from the Patronus, "James, we need you at the Ministry immediately. The Dark Mark has appeared in a Muggle neighborhood."

James and Sirius apparated directly to the Auror's Office, where they were greeted by chaotic scenes. Aurors were rushing around, phones were ringing incessantly. In the midst of the chaos, Kingsley Shacklebolt, who was shouting orders, spotted James and Sirius and hurried over to them.

Sirius wasted no time and asked, "What the fuck happened?"

Kingsley replied swiftly, "A Muggle spotted the Dark Mark in the sky and called the police." He then turned to James and said, "Crouch is waiting for you in your office."

James nodded and made his way to his office. Upon entering, he found Crouch pacing back and forth, his face etched with worry. James greeted him and inquired, "What exactly happened, Crouch?"

Crouch explained, "A few hours ago, the Muggle Prime Minister contacted me, informing me that a Muggle had witnessed the Dark Mark in the sky."

James asked the crucial question, "Did anyone die?"

Crouch replied with some relief, "No, fortunately, there were no casualties. The Mark appeared on top of the Wellington Memorial in Hyde Park."

Seeing the concern in the Minister's eyes, James pressed further, "Is there anything else?"

"A black rose and a note were left at the foot of the statue. The note read, 'I know what you've done. I'm coming for you." Crouch revealed.

James requested to see the rose and the note, to which Crouch replied, "They're in the interrogation room. I'll take you there."

Exiting the office, James found Sirius waiting for him, leaning against the wall. Sirius inquired, "What did Crouch say?"

James replied as they entered the interrogation room, "He knows the same as we do."

Sirius glared at the black rose resting on the table and the ominous note, his anger simmering just beneath the surface. He turned to James with frustration evident in his voice. "What kind of twisted joke is this, James?"

James carefully examined the handwriting on the note, his brows furrowed in concentration. "The handwriting is different from the one we found in Godric's Hollow," he noted.

Sirius, still puzzled, asked, "I don't understand what you're getting at."

James began to explain, "Regulus mentioned that someone left a black rose on Evan's grave, Isabelle's brother."

Sirius's eyes widened in realization. "Are you trying to tell me that we're looking for another person, and we don't have any leads on them?"

James nodded grimly. "Yes, it appears that someone is disrupting the peace we've had for fourteen years, and they have a purpose."

Concern etched on his face, Sirius asked, "What does this mean, James? Most of the Death Eaters are locked up in Azkaban."

James fixed his gaze on Sirius and replied solemnly, "Someone is trying to avenge Evan Rosier's death, and they don't seem to mind bringing back the Death Eaters."

As James and Sirius were deep in their discussion about the situation, a Patronus materialized in the room. It took the form of a doe, and Lily's voice resonated through the room, carrying a sense of urgency.

"James, you need to come home quickly," Lily's voice urged. "A letter has arrived for you, and the owl refused to give it to anyone other than you."

Without a moment's hesitation, James and Sirius shot out of the room, leaving behind the chaos at the Ministry. Kingsley Shacklebolt spotted their swift exit and called after them, "Where are you two going? The Ministry is in chaos!"

James turned to Kingsley, his expression serious. "My wife needs me at home," he explained, "If there's any more news, please let me know."

Sirius, running alongside James, couldn't help but express his unease. "I don't fucking like what's happening, James."

James nodded in agreement as they Disapparated. "Neither do I, but we're going to get to the bottom of this."

Just before they disappeared, Sirius muttered with a hint of foreboding, "This feels like a sick 1979 rerun, and we both know how that ended up."

Lily, Regulus, and Lucius stood in the dimly lit room, their gazes fixed on the distressed owl perched on the windowsill. Its feathers were ruffled, and it hooted anxiously. The owl had arrived shortly after Sirius and James had departed to investigate a troubling situation.

James and Sirius Apparated back to the room with a sharp crack. Lily's face lit up with relief as she exclaimed, "Thank God!"

James, his brows furrowing in concern, scanned the room. "What's going on, Lily?"

Regulus spoke up, "It's this owl, James. It wouldn't let anyone near it."

Lucius nodded in agreement. "And it arrived right after you and Sirius left."

James approached the owl cautiously, his eyes locked onto the distressed creature. The owl hesitated for a moment, its large, expressive eyes darting between the three of them. Then, as if sensing James' intent, it extended its paw towards him, offering a tightly clutched letter.

James carefully took the letter from the owl's grasp and examined it. The address was unmistakably his own. He tore it open and began to read aloud, his voice heavy with a mix of curiosity and trepidation. James opened the letter and read aloud.

Hello James,

My name is Evan Rosier and if you have received this letter, it is most likely that I'm already dead. I'm the person who kidnapped your daughter years ago, erased her memories of her and changed her physical appearance so that no one would suspect her. I'm not looking for your forgiveness, God knows I don't deserve it but somehow I want to redeem myself from the damage I've caused. I left Hermione with my younger sister, her name is Isabelle and she is married to Lorenzo Grimaldi.

I'm a Death Eater but I suppose you already know that, I may be many things but I don't murder children. I know you're probably thinking that kidnapping is an act just as heinous as killing. I was unable to kill your daughter and that's why I left her with my sister, her husband and she have money and will be able to take care of her. Do you want to know something curious? Your daughter saved me. They were about to kill me and Hermione saved us both, I would dare say that was the first manifestation of magic of hers.

I don't know exactly when you will receive this letter or if you have already found Hermione, but the spell I used can only be broken if I undo it. If you receive this letter and you still haven't found Hermione and I'm dead, look for my sister. She carries my blood and can reverse the spell. The spell I used was "Heredatis Vinculum Obstruens".

If you have been to Godric's Hollow and seen the statue of your family, you will have found black roses, they are mine. If my last name isn't enough of a clue, the roses will be. Don't leave red roses, the color red implies love and affection and it seemed wrong to me when I was the cause of so much pain.

If you're wondering if I regret what I did, I would say no. When I did it I was convinced of what I was doing and I was in favor of pureblood supremacy. I still am, I'm just sorry it was Hermione.

I know that you would never allow yourself to be advised by a Death Eater, especially if it was the Death Eater that kidnapped your daughter, but let me give it to you, don't trust anyone. If there's one thing I know about power, it's that it consumes you. You become addicted to the feeling it produces and you want more and more. Voldemort and Dumbledore are more alike than you think. They seek above all to safeguard their interests and know how to say it to make us believe them.

A Japanese proverb says that everyone has three faces. One that we show to the world. We only show the second face to those closest to us and we do not show the last face to face is only for us. It is the only and most real reflection of who we are. It is the one that gives us peace or doesn't let us sleep.

It doesn't let me sleep, it's part of my punishment for all the sins I have committed in this life. Tell my sister I'm sorry I'm not the brother she wanted and please don't blame her for your daughter's kidnapping. When I gave it to my sister I didn't tell her that she had kidnapped her or that she was the Potters' daughter.

One last thing, don't you find it curious that your daughter has the same name as Helen of Troy's daughter?
