A week had passed sense Din had arrive.

Din woke up, he glanced to the side seeing Grogu was still sleeping. Din smiled softly, Din got up and walked into the main room. He glanced around surprised Luke wasn't there. He usually was in the house preparing breakfast and probably waking up way to earlier then He should. Din glanced outside, he wasn't even in the place he always watched the sunset. Worried din stepped out of the house.

He headed towards Luke's, as he was walking he saw Luke sitting down by the lake. Din walked over to him. Don hesitated when he was a couple steps away not sure if he should I . Luke suddenly said.

Hey. Din replied sitting next to him. Are you alright? Din asked. Luke nodded.

It's just a hard day. He replied staring at the water. Din tilted his head.

Did something happen? He asked.

Nine years ago. Luke replied.

I'm sorry. Din said touching his arm. Luke nodded. Din noticed tears in Luke's eyes. What was it? He asked. Luke let out a shaky breath.

My Aunt and Uncle died today nine years ago. Luke finally replied.

I'm sorry. Din said again.

It's fine. Luke said staring straight ahead. I really shouldn't even be mourning, my Sister Leia lost her whole planet today nine years ago. She lost everything.

Din frowned under his helmet. You can still grieve the loss of your aunt and uncle. Luke shook his head standing up.

I should go make breakfast. Luke said.

No, it's fine, I'll make it. Din said touching his hand. Luke glanced down at Din's hand that was touching his.

It hurts today. Luke said quietly. Din frowned rubbing at his prosthetic wrist where it met real skin.

Phantom pains? Din asked. Luke nodded. Din could see he was trying to hold in tears. How's the other pain? Din asked watching Luke's expression carefully.

It's fine. Luke replied not looking at Din.

Luke, is it bugging you today? Din asked. Luke shook his head avoiding eye contact. Luke, look at me. Din said. Luke didn't. Din reached out gently tilting Luke's chin up. Luke reluctantly looked at him. Are they hurting you today? He asked again.

A little. Luke replied. Din nodded dropping his hand. Luke took a deep breath.

Let's go, I'll make breakfast. Din said.

Luke shook his head. I can make breakfast. He said.

No, Luke let me. Din said staring at him intently.

Luke sighed. Fine. He replied. Din nodded.

They started walking back towards the house, Din noticed Luke was limping slightly and had a slight tremor In his hand. Luke glanced at him.

What? He asked.

Nothing. Din replied.

A few minutes later they walked to the house. Grogu! Din called walking in. Grogu popped his head around the bedroom door. Din smiled going over to him and picking him up. Grogu cooed happily. Din saw Luke turning towards the kitchen.

Luke. Din said firmly. Luke turned around. Go sit, I'll make breakfast. Din said. Luke reluctantly sat down. Din dropped Grogu into his lap. Luke looked startled for a moment. Hold him while I make breakfast. Din said moving into the kitchen. He glanced at Luke and Grogu as he got out food. Luke was staring down at Grogu gently rubbing his ear. Din smiled.

A few minutes later Din walked out with plates. He smiled when he saw Luke talking quietly to Grogu. Luke laughed slightly and Grogu squeaked. Din watched them for a moment, Luke looked happier but Din could still see the grief in his eyes.

Breakfasts ready. Din said. Luke glanced up. Din took Grogu from Luke. Grogu made a noise reaching for Luke. Din chuckled softly. Let Luke eat. Din said setting Grogu on his chair.

Thank you. Luke said. Din nodded. He sat down across from Luke. Luke picked at his food. Din handed Grogu his food. hoping Luke would start to eat. Luke moved his fork around but didn't eat.

Are you hungry? Din asked. Luke jumped looking up.

What? He asked.

Are you hungry. Din asked again. Luke shook his head.

I'm sorry, you made the food I should eat. Luke said.

It's alright. Din replied. I Don't mind. Luke looked down. Do you want some tea? Din asked. Luke nodded Din saw tears welling in his eyes. Din stood up and went into the kitchen.

A minute later he came back and handed Luke the tea. Luke stared down at it.

Are you alright? Din asked. Luke shook his head slightly.

My Aunt used to make me tea. Luke whispered. Luke started crying. Din crouched down Infront of him taking the tea and setting it to the side. Din then pulled Luke close. Luke clung to him sobbing. Din saw Grogu come over and squeeze in-between them. They all sat on the floor Din holding Luke as he sobbed lost in his grief.
