AN: I changed Taylor's cape name to Jiang-shi. Thanks to Akuma-Heika in QQ for the suggestion!
Taylor feels sore after yesterday.
She is so glad that Oni Lee is not training her today.
However, Lung tells her that he is going to introduce her to another cape in his gang named Bakuda. A bomb tinker.
Taylor is not looking forward to it.
Not one bit.
She doesn't know about the other female cape. The only thing she knows about her is that the tinker is a bit temperamental just based on the rumors circulating around the ABB headquarters.
She feels anxious about the coming interaction
Unfortunately, she doesn't have a choice on the matter.
Lung insists that she meets Bakuda where the Dragon probably hopes that they will hit it off.
Well, she will just see how it goes.
"Lung tells me that you are a white girl behind that mask," the woman says to her after the introductions. "So how come you join ABB instead of the Empire?"
Taylor glances at Lung, who is watching the interaction carefully with his arms crossed in front of his bare, tattooed chest.
"Maybe you should ask Lung," she says in a tight voice, gesturing towards him. "He knows the true reason why I am even here in the first place."
She watches as Bakuda looks at Lung and then turns to her again.
"I heard a rumor but I wasn't quite sure if it was true. Was it because Lung abducted your father and threatened to harm him if you didn't join ABB?" Bakuda asks her curiously.
"Somewhat," Taylor replies, meeting the tinker's pale blue eyes through her mask.
"She offered herself to me in exchange for her father's freedom," Lung clarifies in his usual gravelly voice.
"What he said," she reluctantly admits.
"Huh," the woman says, "Well, better stick with us now that you are here."
Taylor doesn't comment and waits for the silence to become awkward.
Fortunately, Lung moves to prevent it by saying, "Jiang-shi, are you able to absorbed Bakuda's tinker power?"
Taylor looks at Lung and replies, "I can only do it with male capes, Lung. Something about not being compatible with female capes."
"Well, damn," the Dragon says in displeasure. "How long do you have before you can't use Oni Lee's power?"
"I already ran out of his power last night. Drinking blood from the source only provides me twenty four hours of use at most."
"Let's go and fill you up with another batch of blood then," Lung says as he grabs a hold of Taylor's arm and begins to drag her alongside him while the Dragon ignores Bakuda's squawking indignation.
"Oi! Where are you two going?" The tinker calls after them to which they both ignored.
"Or do you want to use a permanent solution?" The Dragon inquires while he peers at her through his metal mask.
"I'm not kissing anyone," Taylor says hastily as she tries to match Lung's long stride.
Despite Taylor being nearly six feet tall, Lung is still nearly a head taller than her. She can hardly keep up with him.
"For now, I will let you do as you wish, but when the time comes that I need a permanent solution, then you will do as you are told," He rumbles lowly. "If I order you to kiss someone to absorb their power, then you will do as I say. Am I clear?"
"Crystal," is Taylor's sarcastic response.
Lung tightens his hold around her arm and she winces.
"I don't like your tone," Lung snarls at her. "No respect at all."
"I'm sorry," she mutters, sounding contrite.
There is a momentary pause as they continue to march through the hallway.
"Oni Lee is busy with some gang-related business. That is why he can't train you today. So for today, you will be shadowing me," Lung tells her as they neared the door that she knows to be his personal office.
At his statement, Taylor perks up.
"Is that all I have to do today? For me to follow you around?" She asks curiously.
"We are not going anywhere. We will remain in the office while I do a bunch of paperworks," Lung informs, already sounding bored with her.
"You don't have any subordinates that do your paperworks?" She inquires in surprise.
"Why do you sound so surprised? Do I look like some stupid brute, who isn't able to do his own paperworks?" He looks down at her from his towering height. They pause in front of the door.
"Well -" she begins to say but Lung stops her.
"Don't answer that," the Dragon grumbles as he finally opens the door to his office.
His office is a big room with a dark, mahogany desk at the center, bookshelves lining the walls and with leather upholstered chairs, which look comfortable enough for sitting down. Taylor also notes the beautiful katanas displayed on the walls as well as the oil paintings of mythical beasts, which mostly consists of dragons.
"Very oriental. I like it," is Taylor's remark as she gazes around the room before her eyes settle on Lung, who is standing a meter away from her while she surveys his office.
"Sit," Lung orders and Taylor moves to sit on one of the chairs in front of the desk.
She assumes that Lung is going to take the seat behind the desk afterward, but is somewhat surprised when the Dragon remains standing and looming over her from his great height.
Lung looks contemplative when he regards her for a moment.
"I want you to absorb my power," The Dragon suddenly says, almost quietly but Taylor hears him well enough that she looks up at him with wariness. "As a test of sorts. I need to know if you will obtain the same power mechanics as I have. Or is it going to be different? You said there is no weakness to consider when you use the power you absorb yourself."
"I think it's going to be different than yours when I use your power," is her answer as she meets his dark brown eyes through his mask. "I suspect that I don't need to ramp up from a fight just to reach a specific criteria for increasing power."
"Well, let's find out tomorrow since I will be doing paperworks today. I will give you as much blood as you can to last for two days today. So we need to make it worth it because I intend to train you before we attack the Empire two weeks from now. You need more training Jiang-shi before I unleash you upon the empire capes." Lung says to her as he extends his left wrist towards her.
"I think it will be ideal if I drink it from the vein in your neck. It will be fastest to drink from there before your regenerative abilities start to become a bother to me," Taylor suggests softly.
"Alright," He replies, sounding amused for some reason.
"You need to sit down first though," She tells him as she stands up.
Of course, Lung doesn't like the way she orders him and he makes it known to her.
"I don't like the way you order me, girl," Lung sneers as he steps forward to try and intimidate her.
"I said that for a reason. I'm just being practical. I don't want you falling over once I begin to suck the blood out of you," is Taylor's calm response.
She desperately wants to roll her eyes at him but she resists the temptation. She doesn't want to anger the Dragon all the more.
She hears Lung snort at her explanation right before he stalks behind his desk to sit on his leather upholstered high back chair.
Without much prompting, Taylor follows soon after him and stands up next to his chair.
"Well? Get on with it!" The Dragon impatiently demands of her.
She lets out a huff of annoyance. Then, proceeds to do as she is ordered. First, she removes her mask and places it on top of his desk. Afterward, she puts her hands on Lung's broad shoulders and his bare, sculpted chest.
His bare skin is so hot, Taylor thinks, frowning. He feels like he is burning up right next to me.
"Don't move," she orders as she leans slowly towards him.
At this close, she can already smell his scent. Lung smells like brimstone and something spicy and so masculine that makes her head spin for a moment right before she snaps out of it.
"Do you get a thrill or something from ordering me around, girl?" Lung grumbles in irritation that she can feel it vibrating through his chest.
"Hmn," she mumbles absentmindedly while she finally has her mouth close to the pulsing vein on Lung's neck.
Without her meaning to, her tongue flicks out to lick a straight line at the skin right above where Lung's carotid vein is.
She senses it when the Dragon freezes for a second but she doesn't let him relax into her before Taylor bares her fangs and sinks them on his neck.
She doesn't hear it when Lung makes a sound as she is far too busy savoring his unique taste. Her olfactory senses are flooded with the scent of him while her taste buds are drenched with his essence.
Taylor is having a sensory overload while she continues to suck Lung's blood, where she feels only sheer bliss. At the same time, adrenaline and endorphins run rampant inside of her while her mind blanks out in complete ecstasy.
She relishes the experience. She wants more, so much more that she tightens her hold on Lung and sinks her fangs further into his flesh despite Lung's regenerative ability. A moan escapes her while she remains oblivious to the fact that she is now straddling the Dragon while Lung starts to use his large hands to latch unto her desperately to keep her in place as he pants raggedly in front of her.
Taylor is so out of it that she hasn't realized what Lung is going through as she floods his bloodstream with venom in excess. She fails to notice the hardness pressing between her thighs or the way Lung moans in pure pleasure until the Dragon himself suddenly yanks her away from him in sheer force of will.
"Fuck!" Lung curses loudly while he holds Taylor at arms length, who remains a bit dazed by the sudden movement.
"Fucking hell!" The ABB leader states hoarsely as he stares at her with his pupils blown wide and his breaths coming into pants.
A flush suddenly suffuses her face. She realizes that she is sitting on Lung's lap, where she can feel something large and hard pressing against her.
Lung's stare seems to intensify as he gazes at her like he is seeing her for the first time.
Her heart flutters strangely against her chest as she looks back at him as well.
Taylor tries to stand up but Lung's large hands tighten around her arms and he pulls her closer to him until there is only a couple of inches left that separate their faces.
She can hear him huffing and puffing through his ornate mask like Lung just ran a marathon.
"That was…that was something. Oni Lee didn't warn me how intense it was going to be," Lung says raggedly as he finally release her with obvious reluctance.
Taylor scrambles to her feet, flushing scarlet when she realizes what he means.
In those short minutes, Lung must have seen something obscene while she was sucking his blood and pumping him full of venom.
She doesn't want to know what he saw but curiosity got the better of her so she asks him.
"What did you see?" She says, biting her lower lip.
This time, her movement doesn't go unnoticed. She observes how Lung's eyes seem to darken as he stares at her lips.
"You already know what I saw," is Lung's distracted growl as he continues to regard her almost hungrily.
Something hot settles at the pit of her stomach as she meets his darkened eyes.
"No, I don't," she denies.
For some reason, she wants to hear Lung admit that he was sexually fantasizing about her a few minutes ago.
But it was not to be.
Lung is stubborn. He won't admit it just to spite her.
So he remains silent while staring at her with a look that sends pleasant tingles down her spine.
"Fine. Have it your way," she says at last when the silence becomes too much to bear.
"Do you need anything else from me?" She asks after another moment.
"No, nothing else," Lung says shortly. "You can go back to your room."
"Alright," is her response. Just as short as his. "I better leave you to do your paperwork then."
It seems Lung has changed his mind. He doesn't seem to want her around his office anymore.
Well, good for her. She doesn't want to be around him either.
Afterward, Taylor hurriedly leaves the room without looking back but she can still feel Lung's heated stare bearing down on her.
AN: I already finished writing this a couple of days ago and was planning to post the chapter on Friday afternoon, but I just couldn't resist. I had to post it because I have zero self-control. Ahaha...Anyway, I hope you like the chapter. And please don't hesitate to ask question or tell me what you think!
