Point taken. He might have not learned the ways of marriage but he had lived with his aunt long enough to get a feeling I would say. After that, the Dragon would not have made a deep dive into those topics. The Vampire Queen though, is a whole different affair.

Shoutout to Neptune20 author of "The Brightest Witch", who put me on a trip to use AI for ideas. Not to write my story mind you, but to help me unblock and move forward.

Harry slowly blinked, the last thing he could remember was that he looked for a way to stop a certain baby snake to suck him dry of magic. Wait! The snake. Harry thought nearly rushing his head to look at his arm. Where once a little snake had bitten down on him was nothing, not even a scar. But where was that little bugger? As his body was slowly adjusting to getting back up again his mind was catching up with what his optical nerve and those under his skin wanted to tell him. He was lying with his back against a rolled-up snake. The now not-so-little Basilisk looked at him with killing curse green eyes. The coloration was suspiciously like his.

He could not fathom how the snake that was not longer than his forearm looked now more than aron 100 or more feet. Looking around he found some skin, the snake must have gotten rid of. Looking like the only living being in the know was looking straight at him Harry gulped and hoped the snake would be able to bring some light into the matter.

"Hello, there" Harry hissed at the snake before it looked like some enthusiasm took hold of the young snake. As its tongue shot out and gave Harry some good licks"

"Glad that you are back Master. I was afraid I took a little bit too much" Harry could hear the little difference in the way the Basilisk answered. That was not the normal Serpents Tongue that was the one that Dragons spoke.

"You may better start explaining the best that you can you can't be older than some hours but you speak perfectly. You looked like your size exploded and your Parseltongue sounded different. And let us not start about that your eyes are not yellow like they should be.

For a moment Harry looked into the face of a thinking Basilisk before it nodded once.

"It may be prudent to start at the beginning master. We Basilisks are not only regarded as the king of snakes because we can be as big as the one you killed in the chamber of my maker, no, it is because our kind is superior to most magical snakes. First, when we are created, the magic used will connect us with those before us. Giving us access to the wisdom of other Basilisk that have lived before us. Nothing like direct memories and such but enough to let us know how to use our abilities and what we are. So I knew what I had to do to be a strong Basilisk fast. You see. After we hatch, we have two options to gain strength and some basic immunities. We could bite one of our parents, this is if we are born the 'normal' way. Or we could bite the first person we see and bond. Normally we would prefer the first option but…"

The snake stopped and looked at Harry who nodded. "You had no option in that moment and bonded with me. I understand and you sucked my magic out to grow?"

He said the last words with a questioning sound in his voice.

His new companion nodded and on his unspoken question answered directly.

"My name is Ophion and yes that was what I did. With unexpected consequences."

"Like the Greek god, great name but what do you mean with unexpected consequences?"

"Well, it looks like our bonding has given you the ability to control my gaze and made you completely immune to the Basilisk gaze, as far as I can feel it. And there is that"

The snake waited before Harry was standing as itself uncurled and now Harry could see them. Scaly wings unfolded on the snake and left Harry dumbfounded.

"You have wings. Never was there a Basilisk with wings."

The young wizard summarized only for the snake to nod.

"That is true Master, I am superior to those Basilisks before me I can feel the magic in the wings, but I will need more room to try out if I can really fly. You maybe should get back to sleep but this time in a bed maybe?"

"And what about you?" Harry asked about the implications of the snake.

"Me? Oh. I see." The son of James Potter never thought that a snake could have a mischievous glint in their eyes but before he could react the snake started glowing as it struck at him only to seemingly meld into his skin. Harry looked at his form lifting his clothes to see a tattoo of a snake forming on his skin that looked like a snake that was about to strike. Prominently placed on his chest while the tail and rest of the body looked like they were coming from his back. It felt funny for the young wizard but damn, that was convenient! The Sanctum was empty of all belongings except the Grimoire that Harry picked up and took with him before he used the cloak to disappear. Minutes later he was back in his room and began to read while his snake came out and curled up on the floor.

Two Weeks Later

Harry was sitting in the Ravenclaw Common Room looking at the letters Hedwig had brought him. Ophelia had promised him some punishment in the summer. Oh, joy. The last time he was punished by her personally, leading to him getting strapped to a chair and getting the extended version of the talk. It was only getting worse with her as far as Harry had learned about the Queen of the French vampire court. The last letter though gave the last Potter much to think about. Looking at a certain blonde that was talking with Sayuri animatedly he just didn't know how to approach her with his question.

~~~CN: Mention of a potential suicide attempt~~~
"Hello Harry,
first of all, I am really cross with you. How often do we need to press the topic that you should not have to endanger yourself all the time? I made a short trip to your little friend at home and he will speak with you about that too.
We all are very glad how it worked out in the end. I also applied for all your Licences through Newt so we should be able to sort that out in the summer.
Back to the main reason I wanted to write to you. First, make sure you can't be disturbed and nobody else will be able to read my following lines.
Done? Privacy wards and obscuring wards checked out?
Good!..."
The letter had an enchantment on it to only be readable when it was in the mentioned wards. Andromeda had told Harry how each Black child would learn something like that and had expected such security measures in Andromeda's letter. So even if he was kind of prepared the following lines had hit him hard.
"... I will be frank with you. As I traveled to the Rookery. The HQ of the Quibbler and home of the Lovegoods I was witness to Xenophilius ingesting something that would maybe have killed him. I was lucky to have my emergency kit with me that I had since the war, so I could give him a bezoar to save his life. After some talking I got out of him that this was a potion to let him see his dead wife so she could instruct him with Luna. I analyzed everything in that thing and I have seen my fair share of poisons.
This would take him straight to the brink of death and maybe over it too. I investigated more and asked more questions, yeah I maybe took him to the stand so to speak. Uncovering that was not the first time he did this. Besides that, he still is struggling with the death of his wife, money is short with the Quibbler business and all those trips he does. Honestly, I think he tries to the best of his capabilities to be a good father but he needs to deal with his own loss first. I talked with him for some hours after the mess was out on the table and got him to accept, that he maybe needs professional help in dealing with it.
I would not have known how to progress with it if I had not written this letter on the Island. Your brother mentioned that you maybe wanted to protect her with another approach. The same his mother did with you. Well, I approached Xeno with the idea that House Potter would be open to accepting Luna into its ranks as a daughter of a minor branch. Covering her tuition would make some room for his fiances to get some help so he could be back to be the good father that he would be without his problems. I am not sure if I should feel good about my negotiation skills but it took me less time for him to agree than to get him to gulp down the bezoar. The papers are signed and as soon as you sign them as Head of the family, magic should recognize her as Luna Potter. She would still be able to inherit for house Lovegood though and be able to transfer the name to her children.
We may have to use some silent channels through the goblins to file the papers to not get the newspaper mess. Long story short, If you want her to have her as a sister you just have to sign the papers I included. And yes, you would not even need her to agree to this, but when you want to listen ask her before you do so.
Love, Andromeda."
Since he had read those lines he had not opened the other letters from Hermione, the Bolt Brooms company, and a statement about his charity. He looked at Luna again still unsure how to speak with her about her father and the possibility of joining his family. They had talked and he had tutored her on some magical topics and would not say he disliked her. He had enjoyed being treated as Harry and not so much as a celebrity for a change. It looked like the decision was taken out of its hands as had reread the letter again Luna stopped talking with Sayuri and sat opposite of him.
"Hello, Harry Potter." she greeted with her usual airy voice.
"Hello Luna, how often do I have to tell you that Harry is fine." Harry smiled at her putting the letter away even if the enchantments shouldn't let her read it.
"I know that Harry." she smiled "But I like it to rile you up like I do with the others. I felt that you had some problems and decided to not let you brood for too long. My answer is yes. I would be glad to be your sister. I had seen that my father had troubles but could not really help. I was just his little moon. I did not know how he would accept help but now it really looks like you managed to find a way big brother of mine" she smiled brightly.
Harry was on the one hand side happy that he had an answer on how to broach the topic but on the other hand, he was scared of how much Luna could find out with her skills.
"Well, then I should sign the document so everything can work out. I think it would be a good thing that you join me later in the summer"
"You mean when you are yourself again, without having to serve an old vampire?" she asked innocently.
"Huh. Wait a minute what do you mean with myself again?" Harry asked only to get a chuckle.
"Just keep in mind that your curtsy with a skirt should look like this and thank you for keeping an eye on an old friend of mine." the blonde raven said and demonstrated a perfect curtsy before she got up and got back to her dorm room.
Harry just stood there rooted like a big old tree before he got a soft bump from Sayuri. "Everything alright Harry?"
"Uh-huh. Thank you, Sayuri. It really sucks that we can't train more at the moment right?"
The Asian girl looked inquisitive before she nodded.
"That is true have a nice evening with your correspondence."
She waved at him before following Luna to the female dorms. Harry was getting back to his letters. Saving the one from Hermione for the last he opened his other letter. It looked like the Emberbolt was a hit on the market further supporting their development of the successor. It looked like his Galleons were invested well with a good return rate. He looked at his last remaining letter before he would get back to his dorm.
Hermione's letter was as usual a status update about her learning progress. But one segment had made Harry curious about what Fleur was planning.
"... after we had to dust the whole classroom and then some together our detention was over but as we came back to our dorm room Fleur was standing inside and smirked at us. 'My two beautiful maids, I made your work in the future a bit easier.' She was stepping aside and waving her wand. Our two beds had merged into one queen-sized bed. The bed sheet and everything was one big fluffy thing. I have to say that Gabrielle really is a Veela. Her body temperature is very pleasant but thankfully the sheets are charmed to regulate or I would maybe sweat very much in the night. Since that day we have slept under the same sheets. It was something difficult at the start but now I enjoy to lay beside her. She loves to cuddle master."
He first thought Fleuer wanted to make Hermione more comfortable with doing some humiliating tasks but now it just feels like she wants Hermione to familiarize herself more with Veela. Maybe they should talk in the summer? He would have to follow up on this topic later on. Or just wait for how it plays out? So many possibilities.
The next day, dinner time Great Hall
Harry was sitting with Luna and Sayuri at the Dinner, Sayuri talked to Padma as Luna looked at him. "It will be tonight Brother of mine. Please do save her if you can. So many possibilities. If she needs some help to come to terms after that she can talk with me too okay?" Harry had long accepted that having Luna with him sometimes was like cheating in a game. He looked at her and nodded. But that was not enough Luna looked straight at the point where Ophion's head was tattooed to his skin. She was still smiling but her voice had gotten very serious "You will protect my Brother, do you hear me Ophion? I would be most displeased with you if you failed in your primary function alright?"
Harry even was scared by the smile at the end. Luna really was something else. One moment she was the sweetest thing on earth talking about Nargles and the next she could smile at you while plotting your death. "Not yours Harry, but if a certain someone fails to do as I say I may look more into leather made out of snake skin." Luna smiled again. "Oh Look chocolate pudding." Harry looked dumbfounded as she took the whole bowl and used her spoon to begin eating. Wanting to stand up he looked at the teacher's table and a moment later at the Gryffindor one. Luna's implication had made clear what he had to look for over the last days but now the person he wanted to find was nowhere to be found.
Finally standing he made his way to the high table looking at Professor Mc Gonagall. "Professor is Miss Weasley by chance ill or why is she missing dinner?" Before the Head of House Gryffindor could answer Harry was informed by his ward that his trap had sprung.
"Sorry Professors it's time." He cut off the Transfiguration Mistress who looked stumped for a second before she wanted to hold him back only for Dumbledore to interfere.
"Minerva," he said lowly looking as the Boy ran to the Antechamber way while an Illusion of some kind made its way back to the Ravenclaw table. The century and a bit more Grand Sorcerer was sure that maybe only two or three people would witness what he did with his magic before it was too late to follow him. "Even if Mister Potter is a second year. He killed a millennium-old Basilisk on his own. Even if it pains me to say, alas it looks like the time for us to pass the torch to the younger generation has come."
"You can't be serious Albus?" Minerva looked at him after she noticed her old teacher had erected a privacy bubble around them.
"But I am. Mister Potter had explained what he did to capture the culprit. The ward he erected will be most potent if he is the only one against Riddle. He has to be the one to stand against these forces alone. We should not tempt Fate because she is a cruel Mistress to those who meddle with her things." He spoke sagely.
Chamber of Secrets - Moments Later
Harry had used each shortcut he knew and was panting a little bit as he schooled his features and called out to his magic. Letting it flow through him he could hear Riddle rage behind the door.
"HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? WHERE IS THIS STUPID BEAST? I NEED TO KILL SOME MORE TO GET DUMBLEDORE OUT OF THE CASTLE BEFORE I START THE RITUAL!"
Harry had to chuckle as he made his way with extended staff and wand into the chamber. Looking at Ginny who was kneeling on the floor before Riddle's specter. After Riddle was finished with another rant the specter seemingly merged with the girl standing up again and picking up the wand and Diary. "You can come out now Potter."
"Good Afternoon" Harry greeted before he smiled. "I would like for you to leave Miss Weasley alone alright?" The sixteen-year-old Tom Riddle looked at Harry out of Ginny's Eyes. Snapping his Wand a Curse sailed at Harry that he just slapped away by using his staff like a baseball bat. "That's rude."
"Rude you say? What did you do with my legacy? That Snake was mine to command and cleanse the school." Ginnymort spat. "I am the Heir of Slytherin. I alone should be able to enter this chamber."
"Oh, Buhu. Are you crying now? Ophion." The Snake materialized in an instant and used his unfolded wing to take to the sky. Harry took a short moment to awe at the flying Basilisk.
"Don't harm the host body and don't use the gaze but protect as best as you can from the curses"
"Understood Master!"
"What is this why can you speak the Tongue of Slytherin and where did you get this Snake from" Even while Ginnymort hissed those words Harry just smiled before he looked straight into the eyes of the girl that had gotten a red hue.
"Learn to deal with it. LEGILIMENS!" Harry felt his consciousness crashing against the shield of Riddle before breaking straight through them. Opening his eyes he was finding himself in a representation of the Chamber. Ginny was hanging at a snake Stature with her arms chained to them and her mouth gagged by something that looked like a snake. A shocked young Tom Riddle looked at him. Harry looked at Ginny again she had her eyes wide open and seemed that she wanted to scream. "Fight him!" Harry spoke in her direction before he had to move out of the way of a yellow curse that melted the stone wall behind him. "Again that's rude!"
Riddle screamed with rage at him "AVADA KEDAVARA!" The green curse moved faster than the last one but not fast enough for Harry to dodge it.
Still looking at his adversary Harry spoke to Ginny again. "It is your mind, take back control of it Ginny. You have held him back for more weeks than some could don't fall prey to him now!" Again dodging a curse he used his wand to slash the air while stimulating his chakra like he had practised with Sayuri. A wind blade manifested and rushed at Voldemort who tried to block it with a traditional magical shiel only to witness itself getting only slowed down. Raising a physical shield in the last second the former Dark Lord witnessed, as the magic nearly cut through.
"What is this magic, Potter? How can a fourteen-year-old mess up to the might of Lord Voldemort?" Riddle snarled as he threw some curses at Harry. He was again dodging and Riddle tried Transfiguration next to hinder his movement but something was wrong it was like the environment did not want to bow to his might. His head snapped to the still-bound Ginny Weasley who now began to struggle against the chains. "You. How often do I need to remind you who is your superior? CRUCIO!" The red unforgivable flew at the silently screaming redhead only for a mirror image of Tom Riddle jumping before her and getting hit instead. Hissing in Pain Riddle dispelled the curse and turned. to look for Harry Potter. Only to not be able to find him but his voice was coming from everywhere.
"Can't even aim his wand right. Hitting himself with an unforgivable curse. Did you see that Ginny? He is not this scary. Fight on!" Riddle looked for the Body of him that he had hit only to see the now even more struggling redhead.
"Do you ask yourself why you failed Riddle? You don't even know what really happened right? Only what Ginny had told you in that Diary of yours." A curse flew right out of nowhere at Riddle who had no trouble countering it.
"You are a coward Potter, show yourself!" he spat at him. Casting a wide area Finite Incantatem only to see it not working.
"She doesn't want you to find me so you won't be able to. And if I am the coward what are you then? I the fourteen-year-old or the person that had tried to kill me as I was still in my nappies. Who is the coward now?" Harry's disembodied voice came straight from behind him and Riddle turned to throw another killing curse that was flying at a mirror smashing it. Only for the mirror to build itself back up again. Screaming Riddle unleashed a wave of dark magic that hit everything in the chamber. Rattling Ginny even through the shield that had pulled up in front of her and dissolving the snake gag in her mouth. The loss in her concentration was enough to make Harry visible again. Though Harry had changed. He had switched to his Hybrid form donning two leathery dragon wings and the blade of Gryffindor in its new form at his left hip. Spitting out some blood and clearly showing some signs of exhaustion Harry looked at Riddle with a defiant smile. Slowly clapping he looked at Riddle.
"You may be the person that dived into the darkest of magics like none before you but you missed one crucial thing."
Riddle sneered looking at Potter, completely focussed but looking as fresh as ever. "Oh. And what would that be?"
"Obsession with a person can make you blind." Riddle only had time to turn to see Ophion bite down on his wand arm and look at its eyes which were a perfect blend of yellow and green. screaming in pain he looked at the stump where once his right arm was. Ginny let out a scream too while Harry looked at his snake who looked like a scolded schoolkid for a moment before it vanished again. Making his way to Riddle that lay in a pool of his own blood.
"Look at you now Riddle. One arm is gone, and your wand is too far away to reach and all of that because you thought yourself superior while occupying the mind and body of a thirteen-year-old witch." Harry spat directly in Riddle's face as he noticed the yew wand flying in the direction of Riddle's left hand out of the corner of his eyes he unsheathed the blade and sliced straight through it. "Nice try. Do you admit defeat? Leave the girl alone?"
The red eyes of his nemesis looked at him with a hateful fire in them.
"She is mine!" he spat at him while Ginny slowly made her way to the two. Harry put his shoe on the wound getting some screams of pain from Voldemort.
"Ginny, is this true? You want to be his plaything?" The redhead shook her head letting her hair fly and Harry looked at Voldemort again. "You see she is not yours to play with."
Voldemort struggled under him while Ginny slowly moved behind Harry.
"The girl has written in my book, unloaded her heart and soul to me, she is mine and mine alone." Riddle spat again. Harry shook his head and took a good look at the pale girl.
"I can understand, that this is not a nice thing to look at Ginny but if you ever want to be free of this abomination you will have to draw a straight line. You have to evict him from you. Can you do that for me?"
"I... I don't know how?" Ginny struggled to say looking at the both of them while she gulped once.
"Just follow my lead okay? Take this." He held his blade to her so she could take it, which she did with a trembling hand. "Now stab him okay? He can't do a thing Ginny but you have to end him or he will torture you even more."
Ginny nodded slowly but before she could move on her target Harry could sense a magical build-up and pushed her out of the way. A stone hit him straight in the face and dazed him for a second. A second that was enough for Voldemort to rush straight at Ginny. The young witch had no time to react as the person in front of her disappeared in front of her eyes before the sweet voice began to whisper into her mind. "Go on Ginny, kill this Harry that had ignored you for most of the time. It is easy just push the blade through him and I will give you your own Harry to play and love."
Tom Riddle was a good student but as all Hogwarts students may have slept through the occasional history lesson. Not recognizing the Sword of Gryffindor because of it was his first mistake. Trying to make a witch kill her crush was the second. The third was to underestimate the fury of a woman scorned. With a cry Ginny broke out blinking her eyes she saw Harry lying on the side clutching his head, letting her arm move as the sword guided her as she thrust forward, impaling one Tom Riddle. He looked down at the blade disbelievingly.
"How?" were the last words he whispered before the life left his eyes.
Harry was slowly picking himself up and moving towards the struggling Ginny. In the next moment, they were in the chamber again. Seeing Ginny clutching her head Harry looked for the Diary that lay beside her. Summoning it away he threw it at Ophion who had no trouble a bit straight through only for Harry to use the sword to give it a second hole. Witnessing Ginny slowly getting into a kneeling position he rushed to help her. "Ginny? You okay there?"
"Harry? What happened?" she weakly asked him still a bit cold and shaking.
"That Ginny is a very long story but I have time, we maybe should move to a better location should we not?" getting a slow nod he helped her up. Picking her up bridal style got him a eep, he smiled at her and took her away to the former living quarters in the chamber. Igniting the fire and placing both of them in front of it he began explaining.
"Harry?" Ginny asked after he had finished for the raven-black-haired wizard to look at her. The usual blush she had was muted at the moment, the mind still coming to grasp what happened.
"Yes?" was the short reply of the wizard.
"How should I move forward? I can still feel remnants of Riddle in my head even after our short session. The picture you saw me in was in my dreams for weeks. I was helpless and somehow he made me like it." She whispered.
"To be honest Ginny, you can always talk to me about it but somehow I think I am the wrong person to help you at the moment. The last time I did something like that I got a servant for the Potter family," he explained only for Ginny to return just as fast.
"And if that could be something I want? My mother just wants me to marry a rich man and be the witch at home looking after the kids. As far as I understood the short explanation you gave me of Hermione and what you had in mind she will be able to pursue her dreams."
Harry cut her off by shaking his head. "This kind of devotion is far more deep than I can transport by talking about it. Fortunately, Luna somehow foresaw something like that I think she said she would be open to talk with you about literally everything you want, and to be perfectly honest here, I think that is the best idea." He saw that she wanted to reject his standpoint and held his hand up to stop her. "Let me explain. I want to do this right you have had a really bad experience that ended just some minutes ago. Give yourself some time to get over it. Talk to Luna and let us start talking, being friends. If and that is a big if in some years you still want to have the situation in your dreams but with me, we can talk about it okay?"
Ginny looked at Harry. "That is a promise? My fourth year the latest?" After a curt nod from Harry she hugged him and after a short, while they both got out of the chamber.
Shortly after Riddle was beaten, Gringottsbank
In the Office of the Potter Account manager, a certain rune showed the symbol for the number three before a soft chime got the attention of the Goblin working. Looking at it the stone. "Interesting. Another one huh? He really could be the one to maybe help heal our world." He wrote a short note and sent it on its way to Andromeda Tonks that Harry Potter would have to come to Gringotts as soon as possible in the summer. After that, he moved to his stash of Grog and filled himself a good round of it.
Hogwarts, the next morning
Harry was staring at the ceiling of his bed. The next thing he did was to look at his palm and as expected the rune was gone. That was no nightmare the young Potter experienced. IT looked like he had finally completely merged with the shard that was in his head before. He had absorbed it completely. Using his Occlumency in overdrive he sort through all the memories. Of the Evening and the night. After his talk with Ginny, they met Luna in the second-floor bathroom where the blonde took her away. Harry made his way to the headmaster's office to report that the damage had been dealt with. After getting his praise and everything he got back to his room where Ophion stayed out of the tattoo form while Harry quickly got a shower and jumped into bed. The mental battle in Ginny's mindscape had really taken its toll.
Getting into a state of peaceful slumber was easier than ever but what he had dreamed after that was disturbing. Scenes of murder, dark rituals, and objects that he looked at reminded him of something. Dark and forgotten places, how to get there, and what measures were used to protect the remaining shards of his soul. Wait Voldemort's soul shards, not his. It really was confusing. He even knew how the dark bastard had placed the stupid DADA curse. He would have to look into that later this year when he wanted to patch up the mess around the Hogwarts wards but before all of those things he had to go to the room of lost things.
The young wizard was nearly at his door when a hiss warned him and he jumped back to evade the bloody Baron that was floating through his door. "So a raven uncovered the real Salazar. Who else." He shook its ghostly head rattling his chains as a key materialized in his hand that he held out to Harry who took it without a problem.
"Thanks, Baron, I will try to work towards making the name Slytherin respected again."
Harry bowed shortly and the Ghost gave a very rare respectful nod before it vanished as quickly as it had come. Harry was smiling that was key number three and he had a strong suspicion about how he could get number four. It would have to wait though. Hissing at his snake fried to rejoin him and donning his cloak he had no trouble getting out of the dorm and the tower. Luckily Dumbledore saw fit to lift the restrictions in the night or he would have had to wait for the end of the day before he would had time to do what he wanted to do.
Arriving in front of the wall he walked up and down three times wishing for the room of hidden things. Opening the door it took him one hour to locate the object he was looking for.
"That dark wanker. Sullying something this graceful with his dirty magic. I will have to train more but I will deal with you, once and for all." He spoke into the room before he picked up his ritual knife, transforming it back from the bracelet into its original form and cutting his palm where the rune once had prominently sat after the ritual in France. He drew blood and drew a vampiric rune with it before he levitated the Diadem straight onto it. He sent a short prayer to his mother and her sacrifice that had made the ritual possible as long as Voldemort was alive.
Touching his magic he let himself be filled to the brim with it before he began to incant using Parseltongue because it works best for him in conjunction with the vampire runes because he could not really use the vampiric version of blood magic.
"You that you inhabiting this object against its owners will, you that wronged my blood, you that my blood has beaten thrice be gone!"
Magic was flowing out of him and straight into the rune. The tune began pulsating in a rust red before it emitted a bloody vapor, engulfing the diadem, that began to screech loudly.
Harry watched in morbid curiosity as a black mass dripped out of the diadem only to be attacked by the red mist. It looked like an acid that was attacking the black mass.
Harry could feel the drain on his magic and was grateful to Ophion who seemed to replenish him to a part. After five minutes of constant screeching the black mass was gone and the Diadem was free of the taint. Harry had a gleeful smile "Only four lives left, and I will come for you." He picked up the Diadem and called one of his trusty elves to get it out of the castle and into a secure vault back at home. Looking at Ophion that came out of the tattoo in the end.
"I think you will want to hunt in the forest right? I will take you out of the castle so you can go and have fun but don't eat too many spiders okay?"
The Basilisk looked at Harry with its Head turned to the side.
"You are really no fun sometimes Master. I only will eat some of them. Too much and I can get constipation and nobody wants a Basilisk with that situation. Trust me."
Harry blinked shortly before he just shrugged his shoulders and got his snake out of the castle so it could have some fun with the local Acromantula population. Did Harry pity the spiders? Not really. He got the strange feeling that would he had asked them for help in finding Slytherin's monster he would maybe end up as an afternoon snack for them. So, call it a preemptive strike. Seriously who was responsible for letting a colony of maneaters that had a taste for magical folk nest in the vicinity of a children's school? Crazy people right?
At the same time, Harry finished his rant two people with long beards had to sneeze...
A/N: One last chapter to wrap up Year Two I think. After that, I probably will go back to write some chapters for my Naruto fiction. Have to stay ahead of my beta reader… Would love to hear your ideas for possible punishments for Harry in the summer. I decided to start the pairings in year four so you have some time to influence me till then.
