Hey pups, I'm working on finding a day to be consistent with uploads this is going to be my third week in a row updating and I'd like to either keep that streak or switch to every other, I'd have just said make Wednesday update day but I've been busy back at school and at work so I decided to just send this to ya'll now, maybe next week you'll get another new story or an update to this, or From the remnants might finally get it's 6th chapter, who knows sure as hell not me

Kana knew the first step in this situation, she spent enough time playing RPGs with Kazuma when they were kids to remember what to do.
"The first thing we need to do is find the Guildhall, When we do that we can register as adventurers, but more importantly we can find information on Kazuma." Kana said, taking stock she noticed that her outfit had been changed, Instead of her funeral attire she found herself wearing linen pants and a loose shirt that went down to her thighs, feeling in her pockets she found some coins that the angel gave them, 'likely to fit in' she thought looking at her hands, they were uncovered which was new for her but gloves couldn't be too hard to find in this world.
"That'll be easy, We can just ask someone for directions, this is supposed to be a starter town so I'm sure people are used to the question," Sumi responded, Her outfit changed as well, she wore the same kind of shirt Kana did, though while Kana got pants Sumi was wearing a long skirt reaching down to her ankles that one could mistake as a dress if not for its different color from the dress when moving Kana could see some pants going further down that looked thinner than the ones she was wearing and a bag was fastened to her side, Sumi's cheat item, though Kana won't admit that she wasn't paying attention to what she chose.
The two walked down the road, and soon they spotted someone with silver hair a green jacket over what looked like a shredded black top, and some gray short shorts, An odd fashion sense but hey this is a new world.' Kana thought.
"Excuse me, sir, do you know where we can find the adventurers guild? We're new and trying to register." Sumi asked in a voice so sickeningly sweet it almost made Kana gag.
"I'm sorry, can you say that again." The silver-haired person said with a strained smile.
"You deaf man? we're looking for the adventure guild we just got here and wanna start questing and all that shit." Kana said.
The silver-haired person started tearing up. "Um, I'm actually a girl," she said causing the Japanese women to freeze in shock.
"O-oh I'm really sorry ma'am I uh, I can't see how I made that mistake," Sumi said with a bead of sweat running down her face.
"Um yea sorry lady just kind of went with you ch- with my first thought! didn't really pay attention." Kana said, offering a nervous chuckle, both ladies having the same thought in their mind 'She's so flat I thought she was a boy!'
"Ugh, you two aren't the only ones, it not the worst time someone thought I was a boy." she said with her cheeks heating up leaving the two newcomers to wonder what that story was, and deciding that it was not something they wanted to know. "but for your question, I'll show you two to the guild, I was going to look at the quest board anyways so might as well take you two also."
"Thank you very much." Kana and Sumi said in synch before they froze and glared at each other as their new friend burst out in giggles.
"Too funny, I don't see many friends who match speech so perfectly, though let's get going, my name's Chris by the way," Chris said through her chuckles.
"I am Sumi, and my traveling companion is Kana," Sumi said.
"And we are not friends, we're just looking for the same person," Kana added.
"Alright, well once you two get registered at the guild we can see about that person you gals are looking for," Chris said with a smile before the three began walking deeper into town.

"Kazuma Kazuma!"
"I'm Kazuma"
"How much longer until we get home!" Aqua asked while looking from on top of their carriage, they were making their way by Caravan back to Axel from the front lines because the girls agreed that the scenery was good enough to look at on the way home, though Kazuma prefers fast travel for the end of quests he couldn't find himself hating the situation they found themselves in.
"Just a couple more days, two or three if we keep pace I'd say," Kazuma replied, he ended up looking into the maps upon the girls deciding to travel the long way.
"Three days! How is a beautiful and wonderful goddess like me supposed to go without bubbly for three whole days!?" Aqua whined.
"if you rationed like we told you to you'd still have some for the rest of the trip." Kazuma pointed out.
"It'll be fine Aqua, we'll be home again before you know it." Darkness said she was the one driving the carriage with Kazuma sitting next to her and Aqua and Megumin sitting on the roof, they decided that since it was a nice day they would leave their gear inside and sit on the luggage rack, it was all of their decision and yet.
"But my bum hurts too! Kazuma switch with me!" Aqua whined.
"I'm navigating Aqua, and I won this seat fair and square." Kazuma reminds the Arch-Priest.
"But I'm getting uncomfortable!" Aqua whined, Kazuma looked back with a dead stare, Aqua was sitting on a pillow and blanket 'commandeered' from the fort, Megumin was sleeping next to her with her own blanket under her and Chomuskue napping on her chest, though did the cat look bigger than normal? might just be the heat getting to him.
"You'll be fine, We'll keep going for a few more hours and then tomorrow we can switch back to having you and Megumin back in the carriage," Kazuma said.
"But I wanna be out in the sun! Why can't I have your seat?" Aqua cried.
"I just told you, I am the navigator as this party's leader the job naturally falls to me in making sure that we arrive at our location, and I won the seat in rock paper scissors." Kazuma reminded her.
"Who made you the party leader? I'm the wonderful goddess it should be me in charge and in the comfy seat!" Aqua cried.
"I believe Kazuma is well suited for the job, his brutish tactics have led us to victory on every occasion." Darkness chimed in.
"And if you fight with me on it I'll switch parties with Dust again to remind you exactly how much I contribute," Kazuma threatened, Aqua began blubbering and apologizing causing Kazuma to release the breath he held when making the empty threat. After all not even Dust was stupid enough to switch parties a second time.
he'd know, he's tried.

"Here we are, Axel's adventure Guildhall," Chris said with a smile.
"Thank you so much for showing us the way," Sumi said, she wasn't used to this kind of world and it looked like Kana at least had some knowledge about what to do as she began walking to the counter, Sumi decided to follow along wordlessly as they approached a blonde woman wearing a white uniform that showed of her rather large chest.
"Greetings! My name is Luna, Is there anything I can help you with?" she asked.
"Yes there is, We're new here and wanted to register as adventurers," Kana said.
"Of course, is this your first time registering with an adventurers guild?" Luna asked.
"Yes ma'am, we're not too sure about what to do," Sumi confessed.
"Of course! there is a fee of 1500 Eris per person, do you have that with you?" Luna asked, Sumi could see Kana freeze up, Sure The Angel gave them money but how much was an Eris, and what denomination were their coins? What was the exchange with yen for that matter?
"I'll spot them," Chris said causing Sumi and Kana to jump a little, They didn't hear the girl coming up behind them and barely registering as she went up to Luna and placed some coins on the table for the receptionist.
"Why that's quite generous of you Chris, Alright girls let's get your adventurer cards ready to go," Luna said with a friendly smile as she gestured for them to meet her further down the room. "I'm sure you know since you want to be adventurers but just in case you don't that is a job that involves fighting monsters, or creatures that would do hard to people, However, the term is rather generic since it applies to anyone who has chosen that as a lifestyle regardless of what your actual job is."
the three ladies followed up to a strange machine, an orb above a table with machine-like pieces around it.
"This here will help us determine your stats and give you an adventurer's card," Luna started, holding up a small blank card with little lines and dividers. "That will keep track of your stats, the monsters you kill, your EXP, Levels, Class, and of course Skill points and let you learn new skills, the more experience you gain the more you level up which gives you more skill points that you can then use to get even stronger, the more work you put in the stronger you will become, now which of you would like to go first?" Luna supplied.
"I'll do it," Kana said, walking right up to the machine.
"Excellent, simply put your hand here and it will all be done in a moment," Luna said, placing a blank adventurer's card down, Kana put her hand where she was directed and a blue light lit up the orb as a beam of light began etching her information down.
"Whoa." Sumi breathed out, The process was weird to her sight but it was fascinating to watch, soon The light died down and Luna picked up the card.
"Let's see here Kana Kurama, your strength, dexterity, and agility are pretty well above average, your intelligence is slightly below average, and your luck is quite low, not the lowest I've ever seen though, it looks here like you have a skill already though. With these stats I'd say you could be well suited for most of the martial classes but magic will be more difficult for you to focus on, your mana is pretty low too, it looks like you already qualify for archer, warrior, lancer, or sword fighter," Luna recommended.
"Lancer sounds good," Kana said instantly.
"of course, and you can change classes if you need to, You cannot take exclusive skills though so I recommend making sure you're happy with the class you have and figuring out how you want to specialize," Luna recommended.
"Thank you for your help," Kana said giving a polite bow before stepping out of the way and allowing Sumi to come forward.
"Same thing for you dear, just put your hand right there and your card will be printed right out," Luna said
Sumi took a deep breath and placed her hand over the orb, the same blue light flashed below her handwriting on the blank card before her.
"Alright here, Sumi Masa, your intelligence is above average and your luck is just above too, but it appears most of your stats are rather average, not much available to you yet but it looks like you could be a priest or a wizard and once you get some levels I'm sure you can specialize into something you enjoy," Luna said with a smile, Sumi thought about it, she didn't have an archetype that she wanted to do, perhaps she could be a priest and heal Kazuma but maybe he already had one around…
"I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what class to pick," Sumi admitted.
"That's alright, you can select the basic adventurer class, They can use any skill taught to them and get a slight bonus to levels but they are extremely weak so I recommend figuring out what you want to specialize in sooner rather than later so you can grow stronger in that." Luna offered.
"That sounds useful, why is it the worst class though?" Sumi asked.
"Adventurers are widely considered the worst class because you lose out on much more than you gain, Your Lancer friend for example will be gaining more strength as she levels up and she needs fewer points to learn her Lancer skills, it also takes less for her to be able to learn the skills with a few being automatically available to learn, Adventurers on the other hand don't get any special increases to stats, your stats will only go up if you invest more into them and you don't have any skills automatically able to be learned, you need someone to teach you any skills you want to learn." Chris piped up.
"Quite right, I know of only one man who has yet to make any effort to trade out of the Adventure class," Luna said.
"While this is good and all, we are looking for someone who might have passed through here a while ago," Kana said.
"She is right, maybe you've seen him? He's 5'5'' with brown hair and green eyes, his name is Kazuma Satou." Sumi said, his information and appearance had burned into her mind, though hopefully she'd be able to see him soon, without the blood covering his body.
"What did he do this time?" Luna and Chris said simultaneously, eyes gleaming and malice radiating off of them.
"He didn't do shit to us! Me and him are… old friends and I'm looking for him." Kana said.
"The two of us can't be called friends yet, but he saved my life once and I want to find him and thank him for that." Sumi said, her cheeks heating up at some ideas she had on how to thank her knight in shining armor, That was probably his class now that she thought about it, 'after all What else would be fitting for such a heroic man,' her mind supplied, cheeks growing even more red.
"Well I'm glad to hear that it's not for anything bad, he actually still lives in this town but he's out with his party at the moment on a quest from the royal capital." Luna said Kana stood mouth agape at the thought, and Sumi simply accepted the knowledge, 'of course, he's probably a very important and well thought of man.'
"Do you know when he'll be back?" Sumi inquired.
"Unfortunately we don't," Luna said with a tense smile.
"I'm sure Kazuma's party will be back soon enough, he's good about making sure those misfits do their job good and fast," Chris said with a chuckle.
"That is true, though if you ladies would like I'll let you know when I see him in the hall next," Luna said.
"That would be nice." Kana and Sumi said at the same time.
"Great, and while you two ladies wait for him how about I show you around town and we can go questing tomorrow to pass the time?" Chris said.
"That sounds lovely," Sumi said.
"Beats sitting on my ass," Kana shrugged.
