"Hello Ladies." Tony smiled.
"It is very nice to meet all of you." Angela said.
"You too." Cindy said.
"If you would please have a seat?" Ilene pointed out two chairs that were situated in the middle.
Tony and Angela sat down in the chairs while Els and Ilene resumed their seats.
"Will there be anything else?" Jenny asked.
"I think we're good for now." Els told her.
Jenny nodded and left the room.
"Well I have to get back to typing up that report. " Sue told them.
"Oh Sue I'll have some research projects for you later." Ilene told her.
"Oh good!" Sue said enthusiastically. She turned towards Tony and Angela. "It was a pleasure to meet you. And you are in excellent hands."
"Thank you." Angela smiled.
Sue bid everyone farewell and left the room.
"I am so glad we hired her. That woman is the best on the computer!" Els said.
"Yes, she is." Ilene agreed.
"So, now we can get down to business. You said on the phone that you have someone to videotape your wedding?" Els asked.
"Yes. Our good friend Renata."
"Okay. What we want to do is go around the room and have each lady tell you what her job is and what she will do to make your wedding everything you have ever dreamed of." Ilene informed them. "Marissa, why don't you start?"
Marissa smiled. "I am a whiz at making arts and crafts and I thought I could make some party favors for the guests. "
"That sounds great. What did you have in mind?" Tony asked her.
"I could make a set of coasters. The first two could be your high school graduation pictures.. The third your engagement picture, and the fourth your wedding invitation."
Tony and Angela looked at each other. "How does that sound to you sweetheart?" Tony asked her.
Angela looked over at Marissa. "That sounds wonderful. Thank you." she smiled. Marissa smiled back.
"So, then I guess we will need to get those pictures to you?" Tony asked her
"You can copy them and send them to me in the mail." Marissa said.
"Okay. So we just send them here?"
"Yes, just put on it attention Marissa and I'll know it's your pictures."
"And speaking of invitations." the lady next to Marissa said.
"Yes Ashley?" Els smiled.
Ashley turned towards Tony and Angela. "I will be making your invitations. I can do any color, font, or style you want."
"Well we would like something simple." Tony told her.
"Well not that simple. We want a little pizazz." Angela protested.
"Well, what colors do you like?'
"My favorite color is emerald green and Tony's is black
"I could do the invitation in white with black writing. And for the envelopes I can use emerald green."
"That sounds good." Tony nodded.
"Yes, it does." Angela agreed. She unzipped her purse and took out a sheet of paper. "Here is our guest list with all the names and addresses." She handed it to Tony who handed it to the next person until it finally got to Ashley.
"Thank you." Ashley said.
"Okay then. Who's next?" Ilene asked.
"We'll go next." "My name is Hilary."
"And I'm Kerstin." The lady next to her said. "We handle the flowers."
"What is your favorite flower?" Hilary asked.
Angela smiled. "Pink roses."
"We could put a bouquet of pink roses on each table." Kerstin said.
"That sounds lovely." Angela smiled.
"And for your wedding bouquet we could do a mix of pink roses, and white carnations." Hilary said.
"I like it." Angela smiled at them.
"Okay since we discussed the flowers I guess we should discuss the decorations next." Els said. "Tiffany. Cindy. You're up!"
"Hi. I'm Cindy."
"And I'm Tiffany."
"And since you're going to have pink roses on each table the table cloths could all be cream colored." Cindy suggested.
"And the chairs can be in black with green cushions." Tiffany added.
"That sounds good." Tony smiled at them.
'Thank you." Cindy replied.
"Well I guess I'll go next. Hi, I am Audrey and I will be your photographer."
"And I'm sure you will do a lovely job. But there is no camera on earth that will capture this lady's beauty." Tony said and picked up Angela's hand and kissed her palm. Angela blushed and shook her head.
All the ladies smiled at each other. Tony and Angela looked to be so much in love. Every once in a while they would sneak glances at each other and smile in a secret way only they knew.
"And I will paint a portrait for you of your favorite photo. Oh by the way I'm Jessica." Another woman popped into the conversation.
"You will? Gosh that sounds amazing." Angela smiled.
Jessica smiled. "It's all part of your wedding experience."
"Okay, so Sierra and Shavonn would you like to go next?" Ilene said.
"My name is Sierra and I am the hair stylist."
"And I am Shavonn and I will be doing your makeup."
"And since it's going to be a spring wedding I could do your hair up or in a French braid." Sierra suggested.
"That sounds good to me!" Tony grinned.
Angela laughed and kissed him on the cheek. 'He told me once that he loved my hair up because it makes my neck look very sexy."
"And I'm not wrong." Tony winked at her.
Angela shook her head.
'And I think some very soft and natural makeup will do wonders." Shavonn said.
"How many will be in your wedding party?" Sierra asked.
"My matron of honor is Tony's daughter Samantha, and I will also have my friends Emily, Isabelle, and Wendy as the bridal attendants.. And the flower girl is my cousin Christy's daughter. "
"And my best man is Angela's son Jonathan and my groomsmen are Eddie, Paul, and Philly and our grandson Nicky will be the ring bearer." Tony added.
Sierra nodded.
"And last but certainly not least we have Jamie B and Jamie W." Els said, moving the conversation along.
"Jamie B and Jamie W?" Tony laughed.
Jamie B laughed as well. "Yes, they have to distinguish between us somehow. So I am Jamie B and I will be making the dinner. I know you are Italian so I can make a variety of pasta dishes and maybe some meat or fish?"
"Okay. So what did you have in mind?"
"I could make some ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and Italian sausage. Is there anything else you would like?"
"How about some chicken parmesan? Angela suggested.
"That sounds delicious." Tony smiled.
"And we also need side dishes." Jamie B tapped her chin. "I could make some garlic bread knots to go with the chicken parmesan and a mixture of broccoli and cauliflower as your vegetables. And also some Italian wedding soup."
"That sounds good to me!" Tony informed her.
"Thank you." Jamie B smiled.
"And I am of course Jamie W and I will be making the desserts. Now we can start with the wedding cake. Do you know what flavor you want?"
Tony grinned at Angela. "Chocolate definitely chocolate!"
"I can make a three tier cake with white buttercream icing and decorate it with mountain laurel flowers made entirely out of icing."
"I love it! And I'm glad you suggested the mountain laurel flower since it is after all the name of this establishment." Angela smiled.
"Thank you." Jamie W. smiled.
"So do you have any other ideas?" Tony asked.
"I can also make some Italian wedding cookies, cannoli's, and tiramisu to go along with it."
"My mouth is watering already." Angela laughed.
Everyone else laughed too.
"Okay and we also have Mona, Marina, Amy, and Jo. They are new hires and they will be helping out with the decorations and the food preparation." Els informed them.
Tony and Angela smiled at the four ladies that Els pointed out.
"Okay, if there isn't anything else?" Ilene asked.
"I have a question." Marina held up her hand.
'Yes?" Ilene asked.
Marina turned toward Tony and Angela. "How did the two of you meet?"
"I'm curious myself." Amy chimed in.
"I have to admit so am I." Jo said.
'Yeah, me too." Mona said.
Tony laughed. "Well our story is probably something you have never heard before."
Angela laughed as well. "No, it certainly isn't!"
"Please tell us. We would all love to hear it. That is if you're comfortable telling us." Els said.
"Oh we are. It's just like I said it's something you have probably never heard of."
"Well we are all ears!" Marissa said.
