Chapter 8:
A loud slam could be heard.
"Azazel help!!!!" I said out as fast as I could when the call got accepted.
[ok, hmm, do you know what time it is?] Azazel asked.
"It's two in the morning why?" I answered not getting the point.
[Yeah, so why in the name of all that is holy did you call me this early?] he said in a monotone since the underworld time was modified to mimic the earth's light cycle to help the reincarnated devils adapt to the environment.
"What? Did I wake the never sleeping princess?" I said sarcastically.
[I was taking a nap, so I can look presentable] Azazel said
"Wow did you finally get a date?"
[no you asshole, thanks to your little move in I have to file in some papers so it wouldn't look like you just popped out of nowhere, and I have to personally make an appearance in kuoh to distract them, so that they can just think that they accepted you in kuoh and not look suspicious] he said with a yawn.
"Wouldn't you appearing, be you know… a bit suspicious?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
[True, but i've done it multiple times, so aside from the increased security, and sending warnings to you know who, it would probably be a positive thing if you look at it] Azazel said and soon entered a muttering rant on how this would help him more, and could be a possible excuse.
"Ok we're getting out of topic now, Azazel send me something in my room please,"
[what?]
"Look Azazel You either do that or I lose a goddam arm," I said.
[ok, , , , so what did you do] Azazel said and I swear I could see him rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"Remember when I told you I found a way to hide my presence from the devils?" I said.
[yes]
"Yeah I got that from an ancient tribe that was wiped out by one of the researchers you sent me to kill," I said.
[Jesus Christ kid, I told you, you can take anything in the mission area, but never had I thought you, you out of all people would try something like this]
"Ok Mr. Judge, but before you continue can you get my thing so I don't lose an arm?" I said.
[(sigh) what is it?]
"Thanks, man, it's a small band inside my room, it should be in a jar, you can't miss it since it repels magic,"
[wait hold up]
"What?"
[what did you just say?]
"What?"
[Before that]
"A small rubber band that repels magic?"
[ok, , , , now tell me how you made it]

[Right, right, loosing an arm thing, hold on i'll send it, but you got to tell me how you made something like that in a rubber band]
"Oh you'll know when you see it,"
[alright kid, give me 5 minutes]
{Five minutes passed}
A flash of light appeared along with a magic circle, soon the magic circle disappeared like it was never there.
"Noice," I said while I grabbed the box with my right arm and ripped it apart.
And what was inside was a sports rubber band, and a note attached to it.
-dear Gin, it's weird making something from what essentially is the shit from your son. -ps good materials, by the way, Azazel.
I ignored this and pulled out what I wanted, its basically a slime rubber sports band, it can stretch and snap like a normal one, but there is one thing special about this one, and that is the fact that it has runes in it, that's right baby, it's a rune of repel, mixing in mystical it repels magic, sad part is that it only repels array magic and the fact that it needs to surround the thing before it repels, I mean if you put it in an arm then were all good, but put it to someone with a curse, it easily captured the creature and, , , cleanse it? I don't know if it was something the monks did.
Or one of those giant magic circles that I think is called, , , , , , you know I forgot, let's just move on from that.
Anyways I took it out of the box and looked at my jelly like arm, I mean the bones are there and I can still feel it but it's kind of funny, I can still stretch it out cause my shoulder is still good, but this got me to question how I can still move it since my muscles are jelly as well.
-Ehh fuck it,- and I then slipped it through my arm, I had half a mind to just leave it where the numb feeling had started, I generally thought of it for a while since I would look weird just having one side, so I slipped it under my shoulder and above my tricep, I mean its stupid since I generally wear shirts with sleeves or a lab coat, or a jacket so it would do nothing for my look so yeah it's generally stupid.
After slipping on the band, the numbness started to fade away, but with this another feeling began, as the feeling within my arm slowly returned another also came.
Do you peps know that feeling when you sleep on your arm or sleep weirdly, and when you wake up it feels like someone had just injected static in your arm, yeah feel that but a thousand times worse, because unlike the other times its not just a simple weird sleeping position, but a weird magical knife stabbing a little too deep into it, so yeah its super worse.
Also fun fact this band doesn't just dispel the array it encircles but also hides it, so to some it looks like a sacred gear that is on the cusp of awakening, but with the signal of the weaker sacred gear, I guess being Azazel's little helper for a month or so has its upsides but still fuck him.
And then I went through my days like normal.

"Awhhhh," Issei yawned while he stretched out his hands.
Soon after Issei jumped out of bed, took a bath, brushed his teeth, made miso soup and fish, woke up his parents, and left for school.
Issei left the house, he felt like he had forgotten something but he brushed it off and went to school because Miss Rias or the president said that today would be special, so he wanted to be there a little early, I mean its not every day that she said something would be special, but I think that's just the fact that i'm new, since everyone seems to not think too much about it.
A little while later Issei arrived at school, standard things happened, Matsuda and Motohama partied together and started talking about pornstars, porn flicks, and porn games, Issei didn't really respond to the first two but the last one they started chattering.
And it continued until the bell rang, and when it did Issei took his seat and looked at his teacher.
"Good morning students," he said as he placed a book and clipboard on the table.
"Good morning sensei," everyone said.
"Take your seat," and everyone did.
"I would like you to pass your assignments now," some pulled out their textbook, some groaned, and one in the back said "WERE FUCKED,".
"But before that, I would like to introduce you to a new student," he said as he stood straight and faced the students, everyone started murmuring and whispering, and the two idiots in front of Issei began to imagine a big tittied girl, and whispered about the fact that this felt like, in one of those anime, where a big tittied girl would transfer to their school, Issei just wished its not someone from the underground fight club that searched for him, since it did happen once or twice, once, some waited for him at his house, and some looked around koah and just challenged him.
"Ok now silence everyone," and everyone did. "Alright miss, you may enter," and soon a blond petite girl entered, She seemed to be nervous, she bowed and greeted everyone in perfect Japanese Issei assumed due to his classmates being able to understand her, and this was very shocking since Issei knew dam well that Asia may be a fast learner but he was sure as hell that she wasn't that good.
And soon she began to write on the board, and as Issei had expected her writing was a little crude since she was still new, but it was enough for everyone to understand and everyone thought it was cute and that she must be protected, and after everyone doted on her the questions soon began, it started with simple questions like where she came from, where was she born, what were her hobbies, likes, dislikes, and it soon devolved into asking where she lived and as to be expected I soon became the center of attention.
"ISSEI YOU TRAITOR," Matsuda and Motohama said while crying tears of blood, and everyone just shouted that it was unfair, and Some had ideas of me protecting her from thugs, the best one was them saying I won her in some sort of underground fight club since they somewhat know about me being a fighter, but they don't know what kind of fighter so it made Issei laugh inwardly.
Aside from people ranting and screaming at me I mostly the two idiots, I couldn't help but smell the devil's scent strongly, and more Interestingly was that it got stronger when Asia entered the class, combined this with the fact that Miss Rias told me something special had happened he pieced those together, and realizing that Issei sighed making the two idiots flinch and back off, Issei however felt like a weight had suddenly been removed from his shoulders and a gentle smile appeared on his face.

After everyone calmed down school got going back like usual, after that Issei showed Asia around and introduced her to his friends and when some girls came by and asked Asia to join them, Issei smiled at a timid Asia and just let go of her small hand he had held for the whole time he showed Asia around, Issei smiled as her wish had finally come true, she can live, she can make friends, and she can be happy, he and Asia made eye contact before he turned around and Asia smiled as she followed her new friend.
Soon after school ended we were gathered in the club room.
"Welcome everyone, I hope your day was alright," Rias said after Issei entered the room, in the room Kiba gave Issei a salute, and Koneko just nodded as she continued to eat her sweets.
"FUCK!!!," Issei said out as he finally remembered what he forgot shocking and catching everyone's attention.
"Whats wrong Issei?"
"What happened?"
"Are you alright?" Were the questions everyone asked.
"I forgot to put on my weights," he said and everyone just looked at him.
"Alright… lets put that aside for a bit," Rias said as she coughed into her hand. "now that everyone is here," Rias then clapped, and Akeno left the small kitchen, and in front of her holding a tray of cookies was Asia.
"Surprise, say hello to our new bishop, little miss Asia," she said cheerily.
Kiba was a little shocked since he didn't know she was the new devil his mistress said, Koneko just accepted her since she already knew, but Rias was surprised as Issei wasn't surprised, but instead of surprised it looked like he already knew.
"Oh my, it seems like Issei already knew," Akeno said as she served everyone tea as Asia left them cookies.
"You know I thought the most surprised would be Issei and not Kiba," Akeno said noticing that Kiba was the only one that was surprised, and Kiba, Koneko, and Rias focused on Issei.
"What? I mean it was already clear that she would invite Asia, I did ask her and she did say she would wait to get her consent," Issei said.
"Yeah, but how did you know she was a devil?" Kiba asked.
"Simple, it's how I knew when Akeno is trying to sneak up on me on my lunch, or when the girls are close when i'm on watch, it's by smell," Issei said, Kiba just gave him a look, Akeno tightened her thighs a little, Rias was curios, and Koneko actually stopped eating for a bit.
After a few minutes of silence. "Can you explain," Rias asked since this was the first time she heard of this particular skill of her pawn.
"Sure, but I don't really know what to tell you, because far as I know i've had this sharp nose since I was but a small boy," Issei said.
"Hmmm, can you tell us how we smell?" Akeno asked with her head tilted on her palm.
"Sure, Koneko smells like sugar and cats, Kiba smells like swords, Asia smells like a spring, Akeno smells like, well I cant really explain this, ahhhh," Issei thought out thinking of how to describe her scent.
"She smells like a very faint scent of bleach or best to describe electric scent," a voice sounded out.
"Yeah like that, and miss Rias just smells like a bed of roses," Issei said.
"I see," Rias said.

"Wait!?!?!? Who was that!?!?!?" And everyone looked to the right and saw the same masked man from that night, but unlike before he felt more faint.
"Sup," I said as I closed the book I had taken off the shelfs and placed it back, while taking another one, after getting myself comfortable on a wall I looked up. "What? Never saw something like this before?" I said and everyone was in fighting position.
"How did you get in here," Rias said a blast of destruction prepared.
"That's simple," I said as I pointed my thumb at the opened window.

"Rias! I came as fast as I could!!" And a bespectacled girl with a bob cut appeared followed by a similar bespectacled girl but with longer hair and more gifted in a certain area.
She gawked at me and soon prepared a blast of her own.
"Woh, woh, woh, chill, i'm not here to kill or anything, well I could be here for that if I was an idiot and had a death wish," I said as it was clear I couldn't read the book I had taken now.
"Put your hands up," the bespectacled girl said, and I complied by raising my only useful arm up.
"I said hands up," she said noticing that I hadn't raised my right hand.
I looked at my arm and sighed. "Sad to say I fucked up on a little experiment and my hand is a wee bit numb, so best I can do is," and I used a basic spell as strings came out of my left hands fingers, everyone was tense and followed the strings as they went up and over the wooden frame and down to tie on my hand and pulled it up. "Yeah this is the best I can do," I said as my right hand was being lifted by strings from my left hand.
"Ok, now tell us why you are here," Rias said.
"Oh that's simple, I was told it was polite to inform the guardians of ones presence," I said as my trench coat suddenly grew a little hand and placed a pen on my mouth and a note book was placed in front of my face, to which I slashed something on it.
"Whats that," Kiba said while tightening the grip of his drawn sword.
"Oh this? Don't worry just something we bet on, also lift it a little Alex," I said as I slashed something.
"What is your purpose here," the bespectacled girl asked, and another slash mark was made.
"I already told you, its to inform you of my presence in this place you call kuoh," I said.
"Anything else?" She asked.
"I mean if I want to die probably assassinate you guys since apparently you two are the siblings of the two most strongest satans, which I still think is stupid by the way, because if you can easily replace the head satan then the bible doesn't make sense," I said.
"Sona, I don't think he is a danger now," Rias said.
"I'm not sure Rias," she said.
"So Rias, the crimson ruined princess, and the flood princess," I said as I let my hand fall.
"Wait what?" Sona asked since that nickname has never gone public.
"Oh I guess that wasn't meant to be public," I said as then I pulled out a camera and in high speeds flashed around her and took picture of different angles.
"Rias I take it back, he is definitely not to be trusted," she said and she let her magic explode around her, wetting everyone in the room and the people who just got here.
"Hahaha, I wonder how much materials I can get with this?" I said out as I was far enough to not get soaked from the sudden outburst of water magic.
"Get him!!!"Sona yelled out as she sent a blast of water at him, which was easily dodged and struck the wall behind him, everyone couldn't move, not from fear or pressure but because for the first time the calm and collected girl had become enraged.
Sona however in her fury attacked, but as she continued to attack she did not notice the strings that attached to her and had paralyzed her, and to add a cherry on top he slapped a seal on her preventing her from shooting magic.
"Hehehehe, its show time," I said and from the devils room everyone could only watch as Sona was put in various scandalizing poses, some tried to go and stop him but the people who was way to curios out numbered them, and from the school only sounds of struggling and yelling could be heard.
[a few minutes later]
Sona was currently on a corner somewhere muttering something about being violated and that she will get him one day.
"Phew, its been so long since i've done that," I said as I reviewed the pictures.
"Uh, you seem to be well aquatinted with Sona," Rias asked since she has never seen her friend attack someone like that.
"Oh yeah, i've met her a few months ago, it was a small mission someone sent me, at first I thought it was weird since it said any sort of pictures, but it did say impress me and I can add some Z so I did what I could and since I was bored I thought I might as well, and after overpowering her with some numbing drugs I put her in like 5 different costumes on different angles around her bed, and sent, sooner rather than later I became a personal friend to one of the satans, not before she interrogated me and nearly killed my by frost but I survived and now I have a good as contact and a source of materials," after that everyone just looked at me like was some sort of mystical creature.
"Pervert," the white haired girl said glaring at me.
"Hey now, i'm a mercenary, plus if I was a pervert, none of you would be safe," I said as I took a sip of the tea. "Hmm this is good, better than what I could make,"
"Ok, but can you tell me why your really here?" Rias asked.
Sigh. "Would you believe me if I said I have a boss and he stationed me here," I said while lifting my mask a bit to eat a cookie.
"And who is this boss?" She asked.
"Sorry little lady but that's top secret," I said as a book was on my face and I slash on something, after that someone just giggled behind me, I looked back and placed my finger over my lips as I showed her a devilish grin.
"What are you two smiling about," saji said while walking to see what they were laughing at but Alex covered his view, and I dashed on the paper.
"Hahaha, BINGO!!" I yelled out surprising everyone and after that I tossed the paper on the table showing everyone the bingo book.
"Ahh," they said.
"Get, this thing, off of me!!!!," Saji screamed out as Alex now covered his face fully, but he was wholly ignored.
"Ok i'm done here," I said as I stood up.
"Wait what do you mean? You cant just leave, we haven't finalize anything yet," Sona said as she stood up.
"Here is my contact number, my documents, formal data, likes and dislikes, current occupation, and~~~~ hobbies," I said as I tossed a piece of paper from every sentence, and as I said hobbies I dropped a thick book that shook the room as it hit the small table, but most curious of all was when he said contact number because it wasn't a card but a poster.
"Now i'm off, and if you want the story on how I got to calling her the flood princess just call me," I said as I put a phone sign over my ear, but before I left I placed my hand on the ground and after a small glow of blue and what looks like blue glowing veins appeared over his visible hand, and after a small explosion of power the same blue veins on my hand spread out and the broken wall and window slowly repaired itself.
"Welp adios amigos," I said as I jumped off the landing on the school ground and disappearing with a blast of magic.
After minutes of just starring and looking around to see if he was still here a voice cut the silence. "Well that was an experience," Issei said, and after a few discussion and properly organizing the mess that Gin had left them there night became normal, sending mails and hunting stray devils.
Soon after that Gin went home and did his usual when Azazel had nothing for him to do, and that usual was generally.
"BOOM!!!"
"SHIT!!!"
"RUN ALEX!!,"
"DON'T LET IT TOUCH YOU!!!"
I screamed out because of two things, bad happened, one was clearly a fuck up due to the adding to much hydra venom, and currently its melting away at the living area of my giant warehouse I am currently truing to save my son who had tried to consume it, and in the middle of the confusion I had written runes, the runes were simple, giant, blizzard, storm, and freeze. -fun fact giant doesn't mean big, and giant represents power in runic language, add storm, blizzard and freeze yeah it froze everything, if you go outside you can see it all, about a 2 meter radios from my house it looks like Christmas came early, a few more from that patches of snow and rarely ice.
After breaking through the front double door of my warehouse, I shakily looked at Alex. "Well at least your safe," I said as my body was shaking like a leaf, Alex doesn't feel it cause he doesn't have any sort of nervasystem.
After a long while of defrosting slowly so that my body doesn't go into shock due to the sudden temperature shift I then did the same to my warehouse, it was simple just writing blaze and gentle breeze to melt them away, I know I can just wright defrost on the ice but that will take multiple writing so I chose the easy way out.
After finally defrosting everything I took a break, I entered the forge and before doing anything I pulled out some food from the fridge, taking a bite out of it and holding it on my mouth I equipped a glove that goes over my elbow, after making sure it was on right, I then proceeded to dunk it inside the blood bath, pulling out one of them I then hanged them on a wire rack over the blood bath, and did it to three more, each one was unique on there own right, the first one after cooling off has began to take a purplish hue, and the rest are still shifting in color.
Leaving the forge I continued to eat what I had, leaving the room I instantly turned to my chair, passing by a food bowl I dropped some shavings on it, and he happily took it.
Sitting down on my chair I come to realize that I didn't dry off anything, a grumble later and a few runes everything was dry, and soon I was comfortable, that was until the ringing of his landline phone sounded out.
"Hello welcome to what the fuck do you want, what is your request here," I said with food still in my mouth.
[uhm, is this the masked man?] a familiar voice sounded out.
"Who might you be my lady, and it seems like your new to this, but worry not I can give you a quick recap, here in what the fuck do you want or WTFDYW, we provide services such as murder, gathering, protection, intel gathering, and anything that won't get us killed," I said.
The line went silent until. [wait what? Did he literally just give us a way to connect to his boss miss Rias?] another familiar voice sounded out
"Ahh Rias, a sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, i'm guessing your talking about white," I said.
[who is this white?] she asked.
"It's the guy that was sent to your division and the one that helped your peerage," I said as I finished my snack.
[can we ask for him directly?] she asked.
"Sadly no, i'm there boss, I keep my men's information hidden since this is a business and all that, but you can directly ask him for a mission," I said while I began to write formula's on how I could fix what I did.
[oh can I ask who you have as a roster?]
"Sure, as you know there is white, he is the gun slinger focused on assassinations and quick strikes and he is good with tracking for those pesky little run aways, also he is no good in a direct fight since he is mostly an assassin
There is dante, he is perfect for elimination missions, he has destructive power and speed, he is perfect for killing people and direct fights, just watch out since he likes to play rough.
Uryu, he is a marksman, he can rain arrows on where you want and is a decent swordsman but mostly a marksman," I said as those are the only ones I had thought off so it would make it seem like a proper business but there all just me playing different characters so I find it hilarious when someone who I know asks another one.
"Let me guess, you want to hire someone to help you hunt down the devils right?" I asked.
[we know where most of them are, we just need some to confirm there presence]
"Hmm dante should work for that, he is human with a high amount of magic he should be able to coax them out," I said while checking my magic, feeling out the circuits I adjusted them to let out magic but not to much, enough to attract a hungry devil, but not make people notice him to much, basically a human with high magic aptitude.
[what about white?] she asked.
"White is, kind of off right now, plus with his set of skills he would already be at a disadvantage since he is an ambush fighter, so unless it's a low tier devil then I cant give him to you, that's a bit high of a threat, and before you say something like he is strong and can take it, keep in mind we are humans, a well placed punch or a perfect ambush then were dead, and I can make sure that it happens a lot since this work is kind of deadly on its own," I said.

[how can this dante guy help?] Issei asked.
"That's simple lad, dante can hide his magic enough to be a civilian with high magic affinity, most devils don't find it useful but for us we like it cause they underestimate us," I said.
[should we take his aid miss president] the voice of what I could only tell to be Kiba said out.
[why not, extra muscle would be perfect] a monotone voice sounded out and I could instantly tell it was Koneko.
[it would be interesting to see this dante, I find it interesting that he is named after the only human to go through all 72 pillars] a sultry and dangerous woman sounded out which was Akeno.
[well it seems like its settled] Rias voice sounded out with a smile.
"Alright my lady, he will be in central park waiting for you," I said and closed the call.
"Well shit, at least i'm doing something, lets go look for my dante gear," (A/N imagine dante from dmc but without his devil arms), he has rebellion and Ebony and Ivory, Ebony the black gun meant for long range gun, Ivory the white gun perfect for close range with its rapid fire function, difference is there desert eagles, unlike the original where they are modified M1911 here there desert eagles since I quite literally need more fire power, plus they look like the ones in the game but slightly bigger, there still black and white which reminds me of emiya alter, also lets not forget the trench coat, the cool blood red trench coat, also the mask, the dante mask has the smug smile on it.

"I wonder what he is like?" Kiba asked wondering how much of a fighter he will be like.
"I don't know but how strong do you think he is?" Issei wondered.
"I just hope he will be useful," Koneko said.
"Now now, lets not put to much expectations on our new coworker," Akeno said as they entered central park.
And what greeted them was not what they had expected, as a tall man wearing a black button up shirt, black jeans, and steal toe boots, he sat on the park bench? They had wondered due to the fact that he is upside down, and he was humming along with a musical toon coming from what he was holding.
"Booyah! Eat that skeletron," he said said.
Everyone just stared at him, they even looked at each other wondering if this nonchalant, imbecile was what white's boss (me) mentioned, he did have a signature of a human who has a passive connection to magic.
"Ahem," one of them finally sounded out, interrupting his game and looking up? At? Lets just say he looked there direction.
"Ahh, you must be the devils boss talked about," he said as he turned off his game and rolled on the floor to stand up.
"Um, dante right?" Rias asked bewildered at the hyper active human.
"At your service," dante said as he did an over dramatic bow.
Everyone looked at the man they labeled eccentric man in there head, but different from everyone's stare, Koneko's seem to be way deeper, she saw this man and what she saw was a greasy bum, his coat was read covered with stains of what she could only say as blood and oil, he seemed to be confident, over confident if she had to say so, she had doubts that this man could help them, but before she could word out her thoughts they were ushered by there president.
Before they left dante went back to the park bench, he clumsily picked up black and white guns, aside from that he took out a overly designed sword that was only meant to look cool and nothing else, after that he had went with them.
On there little walk towards a stray signature close by Issei asked questions. "So, ugh, mister dante how long were you in this work?"
"Just call me dante, and i've been in this job for as long as I could remember," I said, I mean its not a lie, my dante persona was literally made just to fill a roster.
"What? Then could you tell us some stories?" Issei asked with childish curiosity, while Kiba, Koneko, Akeno, and Rias couldn't help but close in and listen.
"Hmmm, alright," and dante told them multiple stories of his adventure, some about him fighting off a horde of monsters, him going toe to toe with a devils that was mid class, and many more fantastical stories.

"Were here," Rias said. "Now mister dante if you would please," she said and dante just entered.
"Are you guys sure you can just let him enter all by himself?" Issei asked.
"I mean he did say he was perfect for a one on one fight, plus his stories did mention him fighting a ton of monsters," Kiba said.
"Oh, it seems like its starting," Koneko said as bullets were shot and slamming sounded out.
"Seems like he is having a blast in there," Akeno said.
"Shouldn't we help him?" Issei asked.
"Why should we?" Koneko said in her usual monotone.
"Didn't we say we would help him?" Issei said worried.
"We ordered for his services, so if they cant deliver they I guess they weren't on point," Rias said coldly reminding Issei that his friends weren't all that human.
So Issei stayed silent, that was until the doors broke as a dante was tossed out with his sword jammed through his chest, Issei screamed as he equipped his boosted gear, but before he could move further a gunshot flew through the air as it hit the devil directly on the forehead.
"Ugh, dam, don't want to experience that again," a voice sounded out as everyone looked back worried at there hired gun.
"Oof, yet another stab," dante said as he got up and patted the dust off his body as the sword clinked around.
"W-w-what!?!?!?!" Everyone said.
"What?" Dante asked as he didn't know what the big deal was.
"H-h-how, a-a-are y-you ok?" Asia asked as she hid behind Issei.
"Oh, you mean this?" Dante said as he pointed at his sword. "Nah its fine, this is the good old, oh no I dropped my sword, I hope they don't use it on me trick," I said as I gave them a twirl showing that the sword did stab through him.
"Oh my, I think our little friend isn't all human," Akeno said a little excited and wonder in her voice.
"Nah i'm all human, though," dante pulled the sword making the blade in front of him lengthen as the one stabbed through his back shrunk. "I do," he pulled out a little more. "Have a higher pain," and another grunt later the sword was finally pulled out and stabbed head first on the ground shaking it a bit. "Tolerance," he finished by leaning on his sword.
"Do you do this for every mission?" Issei asked.
"Of course, you would be surprised at how many devils fall for it, since they all fall for that highly magically saturated human, if I could have a dollar for every demon that fall for it I would have about a hundred give or take but its still funny to pull it off, hahaha," dante laughed as he touched around himself, after a second he pulled out a pamphlet and listed down something.
"What is this sword sir dante?" Kiba asked as he did focus on the sword heavily when it caused a mini earth quake.
"Oh that, its my rebellion, its handle is created from the norse bone steel, and its blade was made with reinforced tungsten, I know its not the best material for magic, but i just needed something to be heavy enough to cause a lot of destruction, plus if I cant infuse it with magic I can always just coat it," dante said as he put back his pamphlet, and in front of everyone's eyes wiped the blood from his skin and mask with his blood red trench coat, creating more splotches of red.
"Ohhh, no wonder you smell like blood," Issei said catching everyone's eyes. "What?" He said to the multiple stares at him.
"Why didn't you tell us Issei?" Kiba said.
"His right you know, if we didn't know before hand we might have been killed," Akeno said worried her cheek on her palm.
"Why?" Issei asked.
Sigh. "Issei if we didn't know that he was the contact he might have been an assassin," Rias said.
"How come?" Issei.
"Well you see people who generally smell like blood tend to be sectioned into groups, one is a battle junky, they are generally distinguished by there muscles, loud personality, and over all scarred, and the second one are the assassins, they don't generally have any over all features, there small and silent, and can take you out in an instant," Rias said.
"Hey, I take offense in that," dante butted in. "I'm not small and silent," as I flexed my muscles.
"Yeah, his right, over all he was the opposite, he was loud and forward, he has scars over his forearms, and from what we saw and heard he is a battle junky," Issei said, while Kiba nodded and Koneko nodded silently, Akeno just giggled.
"Being cautious isn't bad, it can even save your life," Rias said shaking her head with a smile.
"Yes, yes, being cautious is good and all, but enough about that," Akeno said while she skipped next to dante. "How about we test that tolerance of yours," Akeno asked seductively while stroking the exposed muscles from the tare left behind by the sword.
"Oh speaking of that, can I ask how you survived that attack?" Kiba asked noticing marks on his sword.
"Maybe later sweet heart," dante replied to Akeno along with tracing his finger over her cheek, caress her neck and grazed the top of her chest.
After that dante put his focus on Kiba. "Well its kind of a thing our boss added," he said as he pulled up his shirt and showed his stomach showing a crest in the shape of a middle finger. "He said with this I won't die to my own weapons, I think he said it has something to do with this rune," I said, while pointing at a rune in one of the sockets of the skeletons eye.
"Why is it in that shape though?" Issei asked.
"It was something I did," he said sheepishly
After that they went on and continued to hunt down the stray devils, it came to the point that I asked why we were hunting the stray devils, and unsurprisingly Rias replied with an answer and that was to regain the devil pieces used to reincarnate them, after that I asked where are the drops? To which she said it was a safety thing, since this was a unique devil thing and so when a war breaks out they have an upper hand on numbers.
After my silly little questions, we just continued to hunt, reaching 12 pm is when I was allowed to go home.
