Summary: Naruto finds a dying Superman, who had been shot with Kryptonite bullets and stabbed with a Kryptonite Knife by Lex Luthor, and Naruto thanks to Kyuubi can now absorb others and gain their powers and abilities. Watch what happens when Naruto become more powerful than even he could imagine.

MAJOR SAKURA BASHING

Chapter One: Passing The Mantle

Eighteen year-old Genin, Naruto Uzumaki was seething, his lazy, good-for-nothing Senseis, Kakashi Hatake and Jaraiya flat out refused to train him for the upcoming Chunin Exam Finals that were two months away, he'd gone to the Library looking for some scrolls that could help bolster his Jutsu arsenal, but of course the Librarian hated him for being the Container of Kyuubi, who had killed her Parents and boyfriend on the night of the attack when Naruto had been born.

Dejected, Naruto went for a walk outside the village, as it served to calm him down, as he ventured away from Konoha, Naruto began thinking about his upcoming match against Neji, and the likelihood that he'll face that Gaara guy from Suna, or his Sister, Temari, who he had to admit was a real looker. Naruto also thought about the possiblity of facing Sasuke and the Jinchuriki didn't like his chances right now if he went up against either Sasuke or Gaara from Suna.

Then, his acute hearing picked up something, shallow breathing and it was close by, following the sound, Naruto came to a clearing and found a dark-haired man dressed in a tattered red, blue, and yellow outfit. He has several bloody holes all over his chest and abdomen.

Naruto hurried over to the downed man, kneeling down beside him.

"Hey, Mister, are you gonna be OK? Who are you and what happened to ya?"

"L-Lex Luthor...Kr-Kryptonite bullets and kn-knife...shot and stabbed, can't recover. G-gonna die, world in grave peril without me." Superman said, spitting up some blood.

From deep within Naruto, Kurama stirred.

"Kit, I sense incredible power from this one, he is vastly more powerful than all of the Kages and the Sanin combined."

Naruto was shocked hearing his tenant's words.

"Wha-? R-really?" Naruto replied, taken aback by what Kurama had told him.

"You want to get stronger, Kit? Then use the Absorbtion Jutsu that I taught you to gain his powers and abilities." the Fox said.

"B-but what about him?"

"He's dying, act quickly before you lose this chance!" yelled Kurama.

Sighing, Naruto says, "Alright."

Doing the required handsigns: Ox, Fox, Tiger.

"Secret Ninja Art: Omni Fusion." the blonde said.

Then, a large pillar of red and blue light encircled the two men,

"Thank you, take care of the earth for me. You..are her champion now." Superman said before he disappeared, then there was a large explosion.

Sarutobi and the ANBU that were in the Tower all felt a massive surge of power.

"ANBU, let's go investigate that surge of power."

"Hai, Hokage-sama." Neko said before she and the other ANBU vanished.

Sarutobi and the ANBU appeared in the clearing where there was a large plume of smoke billowing from the ground.

Then, Neko spotted movement from within the smoke.

"Hokage-sama, there is someone in the smoke."

"Come out, we mean you no harm." the Hokage said.

Suddenly, the smoke was blown away, revealing Naruto, but he looked different, he had a clean cut hair cut, he was dressed in a blue body suit, red boots, he wore a red S on his chest with a yellow background, a red cape flowed in the wind behind the blonde.

"Naruto?"

"Hello Jiji, how do you like my new look?"

"Wha? What happened to you and what was that strange surge of power that we just felt?" the old man asked.

"I found someone who was gravely injured and my "friend" sensed his power so I absorbed him and aquired his powers and abilities." the blonde explained.

"Really, that's interesting." Sarutobi said.

"Let's go back to the Tower and talk more." Naruto said, suddenly becoming guarded.

Sarutobi noticing this nods his agreement and shunshined out of the area with Neko and the other ANBU while Naruto flew away at blinding speed, moments later, Danzo appeared.

"Well, this is interesting." the Warhawk says before vanishing.

Once in Sarutobi's office, Naruto began to explain what happened at length, shocking the Hokage at the blonde's story.

"Well, will you be using your new abilities during your matches, my boy?"

"Hai." the blonde said.

"Good, it should make things much more interesting and entertaining." Sarutobi said, surpressing a wry grin.

Timeskip- The Day of the Finals

Konoha is abuzz with excitement as people packed into the Arena, they were eagerly awaiting the Chunin Exam fights, two in particular. The very first fight pitted the year's Dobe (Worst) student against a Prodigy and the previous year's Rookie Of The Year and then there was the current ROTY versus the impenatrable defense of Suna's top Genin.

All of the Rookie 8 (Minus Shikamaru, Sasuke, Naruto, and Shino) were in the stands waiting for the event to start.

"I can't wait to see Naruto face Neji, he's gonna teach him some humility!" Ino cheered, earning curious looks from Sakura, Chouji, Tenten, and Kiba.

"Y-you're actually rooting for the Baka, Ino! I don't believe you! What about Sasuke?!" the pinkette screeched.

"Pfft, I'm sick of wasting my time chasing after that heartless Baka, I think I'll take a leap and reach for the unknown." Ino said, smiling and blushing.

"Well, looks like you'll have to compete with Hinata, and I doubt she'll give up her pursuit of the idiot easily and he'll probably be just as clueless to your advances." Sakura chuckled.

Ino frowned for a moment, but then she smiled.

"You know, Naruto will have both Hinata and myself, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind sharing Naruto with Hinata if she's open to it, heck I might even make a pass at Hinata, I'd really like to know what she's hiding under that coat of hers." the platinum blonde said with a lecherous grin that unnerved Sakura a little.

Soon everyone else began arriving, Neji, Shikamaru, Gaara, Temari, Shino, Kankuro, Kin Tsuchi, Dosu, Sasuke, Kakashi, along with the other Jounin instructors. The only person missing was Naruto.

"Grrr... Where's that Baka!?" Sakura roared, "I swear that if he's late, I'll-"

Sakura's rant was silenced by a sonic boom going off overhead and then a sudden gust of wind passing over her head, when she looked up the pinkette along with everyone else was shocked to see Naruto, dressed in a blue battle suit with red boots and a cape, on his chest was a red S insignia with a yellow background, he has his arms crossed and was smling warmly at the crowd.

"Naruto-baka?" Sakura said in amazement.

"Naruto." Ino said, unable to hide her blush.

From her hospital room, Hinata and several Nurses were watching the matches on a TV, they were all blushing at the sight of the blonde.

Ino jumped to her feet.

"Go Naruto! Take that arrogant jerk down a couple of notches! I'm rooting for you!" she shouts.

"Will Neji Hyuuga report to the ring?" inquired Hayate Gecko.

Neji made his way to the Arena floor, smirking arrogantly the entire way.

Once they were staring across from each other, Hayate raises his right hand.

"Begin." he says before leaping away.

"Now, I will prove that Fate rules all." Neji said before he charged Naruto, who hadn't moved from his stance.

Neji reached Naruto and delivered his first Gentle Fist palm strike and cried out in pain and recoiled from Naruto as he felt his right hand brake upon making contact with Naruto's chest, this shocked and surprised many of the other Genins, the Jounins, and the crowd.

"Well, that was easy enough, though I have to say that I am very disappointed in you, Neji. All her life the only thing Hinata wanted was your love and acknowlegement and your support so she can try to unite your Clan, but your too blinded by hate to see that, and they call you a genius, pfft."

"Hollow words from a fool, I don't want to acknowlege that pathetic waste of space and I suredly will never show her love." Neji spat.

In her hospital room, Hinata was in tears as she listened to her Cousin's biting words.

Naruto grits his teeth as a memory of Superman's earthly Mother, Martha Kent flashed through his mind, she was crying.

Clenching his left hand into a fist, Naruto hit Neji hard with an uppercut that sent the arrogant Hyuuga flying high up into the sky.

Everyone in the crowd gasped at what they were seeing.

Naruto then looked at Maito Guy.

"Guy-Sensei, I hope you don't mind, I'm going to borrow one of yours and Bushy Brow's moves." he said before taking off after Neji.

"GO NARUTO LET THE POWER OF YOUR YOUTH EXPLODE!" Guy roared.

Naruto caught up to Neji in mid-air, he grabbed him in a bear hug and flipped upside down, Neji instantly knew what was coming.

'H-he knows this jutsu too? I thought only Lee and Guy-Sensei could do it?'

"Now, for a little flair." Naruto said.

Just then, red chakra wrapped around him and Neji.

"Hidden Lotus: Uzumaki Style: Crimson Moon's Tear!" the blonde shouts before the pair fell back to Earth at great speed.

Then- BOOM!

Naruto and Neji impacted the ground, making a massive crater and a large amount of smoke and dust. Ino was up on her feet, biting her nails in anticipation, everyone else was also on the edge of their seats.

Slowly, the smoke and dust cleared, revealing Naruto standing beside a clearly knocked out Neji, his arms crossed.

Meanwhile...

(Prime Earth)

Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Hawkgirl, Vixen, Captain Atom, Batman, and Green Lantern, John Stewart are all looking for Superman, who has been missing for past three weeks and Kara and Diana are now beginning to worry about the Kryptonian, the heroes had hit a dead end in their search until they came across Mercy Graves and Livewire and after some "convincing" by Shayera and Diana, Mercy and Livewire told the heroes about Lex Luthor's plan to kill Superman and send his body somewhere they would not be able to find it.

(Back in Konoha)

The crowd erupted into raucous applause for Naruto as he was announced as the winner, Ino lept to her feet, but she stumbled forward and fell over the guardrail in front of her with a yelp of surprise, but she didn't fall as she had expected.

"Uh Ino-chan, you can open your eyes now, you're safe now.' Naruto says softly.

Ino opens her eyes, finding that she was floating, cradled safely in Naruto's arms.

Ino looks up at Naruto and blushed as the blonde floats Ino back over to her seat.

"Are you alright, Ino?" Naruto asked, smiling warmly at the platinum blonde, causing her to blush, Sakura was shocked as she watched Naruto and Ino.

'What is going on here? Naruto-Baka just saved Ino-Pig and she's actually blushing because he's holding her. ' Sakura thought, narrowing her eyes at the scene playing out in front of her.
