It is a turbulent time in the galaxy.

Another one of Luke's students fell to the dark side amid the wreckage of the supreme leader's throne room. The Resistance, with the help of Luke Skywalker, has built themselves up in numbers, readying themselves for the next battle against the First Order.

Leia Organa has sent Poe Dameron and Finn to infiltrate the Finalizer, Kylo Ren's personal flagship. Rumors have been swirling in the First Order of Master of the Knights of Ren becoming soft. The Resistance spies are currently searching the database to find Lord Ren's quarters, hoping to capture him in his weakened state…

"Poe!" Finn shouted, dressed in an officer's uniform like that long ago day on the Supremacy. He typed frantically on the database

"Tell me you've got good news, buddy," Poe replied, jogging over.

"I found Lord Ren's quarters!" Finn said excitedly.

"Good, good. Anything about her?"

"No." Finn said sadly. "What if Ren killed her?"

"It's been a year, we would've known by now." Poe said, putting a comforting hand on his companion's shoulder. He knew from the start that Finn cared about Rey, but overtime he observed Finn becoming fonder of Rey in her absence. He was borderline obsessed, crazy in love.

Too bad she was probably dead.

Poe and Finn moved quietly into the Supreme Leader's quarters. Their eyes widened in shock upon the room.

"What the-" Poe started before Finn clamped a hand over his mouth. Then Poe heard it. Loud snoring coming from the right hallway. They moved in the direction of the snore, Finn almost tripping over something in his path.

"Look, Rey's staff!" Finn whispered excitedly to Poe. "Why is it in Kylo Ren's quarters?" Finn wondered out loud.

Poe's mouth fell open as he opened the door. He pulled Finn up by the armpits, who let out a squeal of shock.

There, on the queen sized bed, lied not one but two people. Kylo Ren, in a clad of loose black pants, hugged the last jedi to him as he slept. But that wasn't the most shocking. Rey wore tan sleeping shorts and a tank top pulled a little over her belly. The ever growing bump covered by Kylo's large hand.

Poe, got out his weapon, and aiming it at Kylo. he nudged Finn, who reluctantly retrieved his.

"We have to kill them both at the same time, alright."

"What, why?" Asked Finn angrily.

"We can't risk one of them waking up, Finn. C'mon buddy. For the republic."

"But I- "

"Finn-"

"Fine."

Poe and Finn aimed their weapons. They both shot. But Rey's eyes flicked open as the shots went off. She held up her hand, stopping the bullet from hitting Kylo. But the one heading for her didn't stop.

It hit her straight in her swollen stomach, blood seeping out.

She have a blood curling scream, causing Kylo to immediately awaken.

He immediately lifted his hand off Rey's stomach, seeing the blood.

Finn had never seen a man look more afraid in his life.

He then turned furiously to Finn and Poe quickly cutting off their supply to oxygen. The last thing Finn heard was Kylo yelling for medics, carrying an unconscious Rey out of the room.

Finn awoke in chains in a dark room next to Poe. He looked up seeing Rey looking at him somberly. Kylo Ren leaning against the doorway with a bundle in his arms, looking down softly, completely unaware of Finn's awakening. Poe stirred next to Finn, and Rey gave him a weak kick. Kylo looked up, sneering at them.

"I'd kill you if it wouldn't upset Rey." He said, oozing with devotion.

But all Finn could see was Rey. Her brown hair and hazel eyes. Those freckles. Oh how he wanted to pull her close and kiss-

"Please stop." Rey said, looking him squarely in the eye. "That isn't going to happen, Finn."

Finn's eyes widened in shock, not knowing she could read thoughts. But he didn't think she could stop blasters either.

"How-how could you?" Rey trembled. "You-you almost killed her."

"Who's her?" Finn asked dumbfounded, not articulating his thoughts yet. Rey looked over to Kylo, giving him a nod. Kylo resistantly held up the bundle for all to see. Inside was a newborn baby. Freckles with tan skin. Black curly hair and big ears.

"Rey how could you? He's a monster!" Poe said. "I don't understand."

"You almost killed her." Rey repeated robotically, looking at Finn with tears in her eyes. "I thought we were friends."

"And he's not a monster, you nerfherder!" She said, Turning to Poe, "He's the father of my child."
