Donna took the blank check. (When I think of a number. I'll call you.) She said.
(I've had access to money all my life. My mom is willing to kick in some too if needed. But this will only happen if you leave and never come back.)
(Do we understand each other?) Nathan asked.
(We do.) Donna said. As she left the Scott mansion.
(Nathan where have you been? I've been upstairs waiting for alot longer than I planned.) Rachel Gatina questioned.
(I'm busy. I'm here now.) Nathan replied.
(Tonight was supposed to be about spending quality time together.) Rachel said.
(If you're going to be nagging and bitching at me. You can just go home.) Nathan replied.
Rachel glared at him. (Why do bother trying to make this work!) Rachel exclaimed.
(Because you know you can't do better than me.)
(I on the other hand. Can have any girl at that school minus Peyton.) Nathan replied.
(I hate you!) Rachel exclaimed.
(I love you too. You'll come back. You always do.)
(Bring some condoms with you. We're out.) Nathan replied.
As Rachel pushed past him to leave.
...
(Mom you should of seen it. This run down hotel room. Sam is living out of a suitcase. The fridge and cabinets were empty. It makes no sense.)
(Why hasn't she got a more stable life going for herself and more importantly Sam?) Lucas questioned.
(Some people become parents when they don't want to be because of what they can gain from it. If she wants she can stay for the night. But this isn't our fight or responsibility.)
(I sympathize for that girl. My heart breaks believe me. But we can't just keep Sam here.) Karen explained.
Lucas sighed deeply. He was angry and frustrated. But she was right.
There wasn't much he could do but offer to be a safe place. When Sam needed it.
...
(I'm breaking up with Nathan.) Rachel and Peyton looked to each other.
...
Later on that night
Brooke was surprised to see Lucas Scott on her doorstep.
She left her bedroom and made her way onto the porch.
(Are you lost? Or just looking for someone to talk too?) Brooke asked.
(Someone to talk too. I needed to walk and clear my head. Somehow I ended up here.) Lucas replied.
Before Lucas knew it he was opening up to Brooke about what was going on in his life.
And in return Brooke shared about her turmoil filled growing up. That during her parents divorce she was the kid neither of them fought for.
That's how she basically ended up living with Peyton for a few years.
Because going home to an empty house is one thing.
going home to a place where you aren't seen heard or loved.
(That changes you.) Brooke explains.
