Authors Note : that I need to clarify. Lucas officially became a father at 15. Which would make Sebastian 2years old. Since Lucas is 17.
Lucas hadn't expected to unload his life and problems onto Brooke Davis 's shoulders. But she had listened closely and opened up to him which took him by surprise.
They had exchanged cellphone numbers. And he hoped she wanted to keep in contact because he did.
Hours Later
In the morning
Dada!) Sebastian called out through the baby monitor.
Which was Lucas 's wake up call most mornings. He got Sebastian up washed fed and dressed before taking care of himself.
When Lucas and Sebastian made their way into the kitchen.
They found Karen and Sam.
She was dressed in a different outfit then yesterday.
And she was eating breakfast.
(French toast. Eggs. Sausage links.) Karen announced.
(Yum!) Sebastian exclaimed. As he was getting placed into his high chair with a plate of his own.
(Thanks momma.) Lucas said. As he sat down and started to eat.
(Thank you for letting me spend the night Miss Roe. And thank you Lucas.) Sam said. Once she had finished breakfast.
(Call me Karen dear. You're welcome here anytime.) Karen said. Smiling warmly.
(I made you a plate for lunch and dinner. Just heat them up.) Karen added in.
Karen took over with Sebastian. She would take with her to the cafe until Lucas finished school.
(I should get you back to you're mom.) Lucas announced. Once they had finished eating.
It was a half an hour drive. And a very quiet one.
Lucas parked the car in the parking lot. Wrote down his cell phone on a sticky note.
And handed it to her.
(You call me day or night. If you need me I'll be there.) Lucas stated matter of fact.
Sam tucked the phone number away.
Reaching out to hug Lucas.
(Thank you ) Sam whispered. Before letting him go and leaving the car.
Lucas waited until Sam got into the hotel room before driving away.
