Chloe sighed as she got off the phone and went behind the receptionist desk and pulled out a first aid kit and a key.
She pocketed the key into the pocket of her yellow hoodie and and then opened the first aid kit and sat in front of him.
"Look up at the ceiling and don't move."
Nathaniel did as tool with a blush on his face and felt her dab a cut he hadn't noticed on his face with disinfectant which stung a bit but he refused to move.
Then she dabbed something on the cut with a gentle and delicate finger before placing a bandaid on his face.
Then she pulled away.
"They didn't hit you anywhere else did they?"
Nathaniel blushed and looked away.
"On my gut..." He muttered.
"Take of your sweater and let me see it." She instructed.
He blushed harder but did as told knowing better than to turn away Chloe's rare but genuine care.
When it was off he looked down at Chloe and noted that she briefly blushed for a moment when she examined his upper body for any other damage around the area he had mentioned but more then that she noticed she wasn't wearing make up and her eyes were softer as she pulled out an ice compress from the kit and placed it against his abdomen where a large and ugly looking bruise was forming.
"That should help the pain that will come later. Grab your ugly sweater and come with me loser."
"W-where are we going?" He asked hesitantly.
She deadpanned at him.
"To a room for you to spend the night in, where else?"
"Why not just send me home?"
"Because of the facts that it's late as hell, there's school tomorrow, and you are hurt enough that your slouching from the pain and barely managing to walking without wincing in pain." Chloe said calmly.
As they went up in the elevator, he couldn't help but study Chloe.
She was more beautiful than she normally was.
Her hair was left down and the lack of make up helped to make her natural beauty shine. Her outfit was simple, she wore a yellow hoodie with something white under it. She matched that all with black sweats that brought out her curves gently. Then she noticed her footwear. She was wearing red house slippers that were now dirty and muddy, her feet now dirty as well on the parts the slippers didn't cover.
"I'm sorry you ended up getting your shoes dirty in order to help me out with those muscleheads." He apologized awkwardly.
Chloe looked away a blush dusting her cheeks.
"Don't apologize. I ran out without thinking about what I was wearing on my feet. Besides, I can always just buy some new ones and clean my feet again once I get back to my room for the night." Said Chloe as she led the way out of the elevator.
She stopped in front of a door and pulled out the key she had pocketed.
"I already arranged with my father and mother for you to use this room. This floor is my family's apartment here at the hotel... My parent's aren't here so I'm currently using their room. You can use my usual room here at the apartment for the night, I'll be back with some clothes for you to change into so you can sleep comfortably and look presentable at school tomorrow once I clean my feet up. Here you go, just let Jean-Paul know if you need anything else." Chloe said handing him the key and leaving to the room at the end of the hall.
Nathaniel smiled awkwardly blush on his cheeks before opening the door and going inside the room.
Inside he found something completely different from what he had expected from his last time to have seen the room.
The walls were actually the same color but everything else was different.
Chloe had a very neat room, it wasn't cool like Adrien's but it was very nice. Her flooring was tile much like the rest of the rooms in the hotel and she had a small gym set up in one part of the room with an art gallery next to it with all of her art supplies.
With her large king sized bed that had drawers on it she had two matching small night stands with a lamp on the left one.
On her balcony she had a simple yet elegant white patio table set up with its two chairs and two pretty potted plants on the balcony.
Her closet he noted seemed to be fairly large.
All in all her room was very Chloe and very nice.
She even had a neat vanity with all her makeup and beauty products as well as a couple framed pictures.
As he went over to look at a particular covered up painting that was calling his attention a knock sounded at the door so he went and opened the door.
Chloe then came in and gently placed two sets of clothes down on the chaise that was by the bed.
"I managed to find some clothes you can use. Sorry if the shirts end up a little small, I got you two hoodies you can use to cover them if you don't feel comfortable wearing them." Chloe said before glanding at the painting he was now looking at.
She sighed and went over and uncovered it.
As Nathaniel looked at it, he was left speechless.
"If you just wanted to see that silly old thing you could've just asked. It's not that good so I covered it up and haven't looked at it since. Anyway, good night Kutzberg. I've instructed Jean-Pierre to wake you up at the same time that I wake up for school tomorrow and I'll be giving you a ride too. So freshen up with a warm shower and get to sleep." Chloe said.
Nathaniel just smiled at her brightly which made her pause.
"It's amazing Chloe... You should be proud of it. You're right, i'll go ahead and take your advice. Goodnight, Bourgeois." He said warmly.
She felt a blush coming forwards and just hastily exited claiming he was being ridiculous in her usual Chloe way which made him laugh.
Then his phone rang as he dried his hair with a towel he had been told by Chloe's butler to use.
He looked at the Caller ID and was surprised to see it was Adrien.
"H-Hey Adrien.." He greeted.
"Hey Nath! Sorry for the late call but I stopped by your house to talk with you about the project in english after my piano lessons earlier and your older sister said you were at Chloe's for the rest of the night. Everything okay?"
"Yeah.. I'm okay... some muscleheads that were drunk cornered me earlier and attacked me. Thankfully Chloe stepped in and got them to back off." Nathan answered.
"Oh, well that's good. So long as you are okay... Anyway, now that I have you on the phone, I was wonering if you've noticed anything up with Marinette? She seems to be acting weird lately..." Adrien asked awkwardly.
Nathaniel thought back to what he had witnessed Chloe discuss with Lila and what he had discussed with Chloe.
"Well, honestly all I know is that Lila declared war on Marinette and that Chloe started acting weird when I told her that I had heard Lila declare war on Marinette as I passed by the girl's restroom about four years ago." Nathaniel explained awkwardly.
Adrien was shocked.
"War?"
"I know, I know... I'm just as confused as to what's going on... All I know is that Chloe said that when there's war involved between to girls or women things never end well... I'm actually kind of worried about what exactly might happen. Chloe certainly was worried when I confirmed that Lila had used the word war." Nathaniel answered.
Adrien was shocked.
"Definitely doesn't sound good, for now let's keep this between the three of us. If Lila or say Alya and Nino found out about any of this things would definitely go insane far more quickly. Let's just keep an eye on Marinette and Lila from now on." Adrien said after some thought.
"We should support Marinette and trust her as much as possible too..." Said Adrien.
Nathaniel hummed his agreement and the two boys soon hung up after confirming plans for the project.
-The Next Day-
At school the next day Adrien started to notice what Nathaniel and Chloe were talking about concerning Marinette and Lila.
Lila was constantly surrounded by everyone except Chloe, Nathaniel, Alya, Marinette, and since yesterday afternoon Nino.
Then the craziest thing happened during lunch.
The school decided to hold a first ever Karaoke Lunch Day and set up a karaoke machine and a small stage in the downstairs courtyard.
"Now, do we have any volunteers or nominations for someone to go up first?" Asked Principal Damocles.
Then Chloe smirked deviously and spoke up.
"I nominate Lila Rossi to perform the song she wrote for the band Daytime Stars called Make It Shine!" Chloe said.
Lila was shocked and then was moved to the stage and handed a microphone before she could fake an out for herself.
So she sang, and was discovered for having lied about having made the song when she sang the wrong words for most of the song.
Marinette however listened along kindly being the ever so fair girl she has always been and Alya listened politely trying hard not to laugh and cry from laughter.
This seemed to upset Lila heavily because Lila then spoke up words that shocked everyone.
"I nominate Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Alya Cesaire to perform a song by Daytime Stars together!" Lila said.
Marinette and Alya looked over the list and smiled as they found the perfect two-girl duet by the artist Lila had said.
Truthfully, it was the only one.
So they got up on the stage and Marinette blushed as Alya smirked.
"Ready girl?"
"R-ready..." Marinette said awkwardly.
"You take lead." Declared Alya.
Marinette blushed and squaked but nodded timidly taking a deep breath.
"This is Give it Up!" Alya announced and the music started.
Marinette smiled and began to sing.

At this point everyone listened and watched in amazement, Adrien and Nino especially as they blushed.

As Alya sung her small bit she ruffled her hair and winked at Nino with a smirk making the DJ swoon a bit.

The girls smiled and Alya undid Marinette's pig tails while Marinette laughed lightly before they continued.

Suddenly Marinette developed some kind of confidence as she began to dance around the stage and ruffled up her hair.

The girls smiled brightly at each other singing and enjoying themselves.

Adrien was amazed at what he was watching. Marinette and Alya were dominating the stage as if they were the Muses from Greek Mythology.

Adrien couldn't help but swoon as she heard Marinette's voice resound powerfully and beautifully.

Alya and Marinette smirked until suddenly Marinette suddenly pulled a bold move and did a lift on Alya. Holding the girl effortlessly up for the duration of the following verse.
Alya trusting her completely and winking at both Nino and Adrien as she sang.

Then Marinette put the girl down and danced around the stage as she sang Alya doing the same in the opposite direction of Marinette.

As the song came to a close, Marinette ended with a split and Alya ended with a hand to her hip.
The girls then stood up and as silence surrounded them, Marinette blushed bright red and looked ready to flee the school.
That is until everyone except Lila started clapping.
"Next, I challenge Adrien Agreste to sing a duet with Marinette of the song "Señorita" by Jagged Stone and Daytime Stars!" Alya declared before running off stage.
Adrien was tossed the mic and everyone watched in silence as he awkwardly but calmly went up on stage.
