Everyone watched with bated breaths including the teachers who were secretly enjoying it all and laughing at the students for being so silly.
When Adrien finally reached the stage he blushed and Marinette looked upset for a second before a moment later smirking confidently.
Then the music began and Marinette started singing, and Adrien knew then and there...
'I am a goner...' He thought with a blush.
'He's a goner...' Thought the teachers and kwamis as they held back their laughter.

The two smiled as Adrien held her against him by the waist gently only for her to easily break free and bop his nose gently with a blush as silence rang through the air.
Suddenly cheers broke out and Alix and Kim screamed "JUST KISS ALREADY" before Adrien suddenly shared a smirk with Marinette.

Then they spoke.
"We challenge Alya Cesaire and Nino Lahiffe to perform Shut Up And Dance by Daytime Stars!" Marinette and Adrien said unison.
Alya and Nino blushed but went up on stage and performed kissing at the end naturally.
After that, they challenged Chloe and Nathaniel to go up on stage and sing "It's not like I like you by Daytime Stars" which ended with the two of them blushing and getting off the stage awkwardly at the end.
Lila then had enough of playing around and decided to use a trump card to hurt Marinette.
"I nominate Myself, and Adrien to sing A Thousand Years by Clara Nightingale with me!" Lila said cheerfully.
Marinette could swear in her mind that Alya, Nino, Chloe, and Nathaniel could hear her heart breaks as after a moment and a glare from Natalie Sancour who had come to the school with a tablet where Gabriel Agreste could be seen watching waiting for Adrien to do so, Adrien finally sigh a sigh and a fake model smile went up on stage and they performed.
As the song progressed Marinette left the school downstairs courtyard and went up to the bathroom upstairs to contain her emotions as best she could.
"Calm down Marinette! You know Lila is just doing this to hurt you! Don't let her win!" Tikki said trying to help.
Marinette didn't respond for a good moment before looking at her own reflection.
"Tikki?"
"Yes?"
"What's the point in being a good person?"
"It... It's too be able to die happily and peacefully with no regrets after everything is over and done with... If I had to say ONE reason..." Tikki said supportively.
Marinette sighed and glared at her reflection.
"Tikki, I've stopped feeling naturally happy two years ago... what do I do now?" She asked.
"Marinette..." Tikki muttered sadly.
"I'm sorry Tikki... I just can't do this anymore right now... I just... I can't take it... I need a proper break from being perfect Ladybug and Amazing Marinette... I'm sick of myself..."
Tikki sighed understanding that Marinette needed this and gave in.
"Just promise me..."
"What is it Tikki?"
"Promise me that you will remain in control of everything... please..." Tikki said sadly.
Marinette nodded with a small sad smile.
Then she walked home with Tikki in her purse and went up to her room locking it, she then grabbed the dress she kept stored away for their annual school ball and put it on before going up to her balcony after putting on a necklace that Adrien had gifted her.
Once she had the necklace on, Marinette went up onto her balcony and let her negative emotions run rampant the moment her eyes closed.
Then she opened them once the akuma was close to her and grabbed the akuma shoving it into her necklace.
"Evil Queen, I am-" Began Hawk Moth before Marinette cut him off.
"I know who you are Hawk Moth, all of Paris does. And there is no way I am calling myself Evil Queen, I prefer Queen Of Mean." Marinette said angrily.
"Very well... I like your spunk Miss Dupain-Cheng. I grant you the power to show people that they can't just get away with breaking the good in you. I grant you the power to get everything you have ever wanted. All I ask is-" Hawk Moth began to say only for Marinette to sigh annoyed.
"The Miraculous? I won't be doing that. In fact, I don't need your permission to get that power Hawk Moth. I take whatever I want! You don't control me!" Marinette said sapping the power into her body and severing the connection herself between Hawk Moth and herself.
Then she smirked as she looked at the school.
"Time to teach a princess what her place is..." Marinette said licking her lips in evil delight.
She tapped her staff on the ground once and promptly she was at the entrance to the school a smirk on her face as she noticed it was Rose's birthday celebration now.
"Who are you?! W-What are you?!" Questioned the people all over the courtyard.
She simply smiled viciously.
"I am the Queen. As for what I am... well... Nice is not it." Marinette said boredly as she walked towards the buffet and grabbed a cupcake before lazily chucking it unkowingly into Kim's face.
"Hey!" Muttered Kim angrily as he and Alix worked on cleaning up his face.
He was ignored as the akumatized Marinette looked around the place boredly.
"Paris is such a beautiful city... it's a shame it's full of so many lie-loving, forgetful twits..." Marinette said pensively with a hum as she went and looked closer at a picture in the display case near the food table.
Alya gasped soundlessly as she connected the dots.
Then Marinette saw the beautiful cake and smiled pointing a finger at it causing it to glow pink as it suddenly floated into the air before crash landing into Rose's arms gently.
Chloe connected the pieces at this point and grew guilty.
"Although, I do seem to have forgotten my manners, I am intruding after all... the least I could do is give the lovely birthday girl a gift..." Marinette said as she walked towards the stage with a sinister smile that scared Juleka and Rose.
Nino gasped as he realized Marinette had been akumatized.
"I know just the thing!" Marinette said having an aha! moment that left them all very scared.
"M-marinette?" Questioned Alya hesitantly and scared.
Marinette glared.
"I am no longer Marinette! I am the Queen of Mean! Marinette is gone! At least until I get what I want..." Marinette said evilly.
Suddenly she was on stage looking around.
"Hm... Where was I? Oh! That's right! A gift!" Marinette said her staff suddenly glowing pink as pink smoke floated up into the air in the shape of a ball.
Adrien quickly dashed away secretly to transform as everyone grew afraid.

As Marinette finished the last line almost everyone suddenly fell asleep except for Chat Noir who was watching from the rooftop as the pink smoke spread through the courtyard and put everyone to sleep except Juleka, Chloe, Nino, Alya and Lila who managed to hide from the smoke in the knick of time.
Then he watched as Marinette laughed evilly as she suddenly approached Lila.
"I'll see you soon... Princess!" Said Marinette before floating back down onto the stage elegantly and glancing around amused.
"Hmm... I can't just leave without a parting gift! That's just not right!" Marinette said evilly as she glanced at the now asleep people in thought.
Then she noticed Lila cowering still awake after Lila tripped over someone's arm.
"You interrupted my train of thought!" Marinette said annoyed before an idea struck her.
"I know just the little gift for you Lila Rossi... Pesky little heroes will be here soon and I don't plan to stick around... so I'll make you my pet!" Marinette said with a truly evil laugh.
Suddenly she pointed her staff at Lila and it glowed a pink smoke coming from it and enveloping Lila.
'What in the!' Thought those who were awake as the smoke faded.
Lila Rossi, was now a quite literal monster with a collar that glowed that Marinette now heard.
"I would just end you and be done with it, but I made a promise, and I never break my promises. I also really hate bloodshed and violence. So unfortunately, this will have to do..." Marinette said her voice and body oozing out evil.
"Come!" Ordered Marinette as she walked out.
The beast just obidiently followed as Marinette walked out onto the streets walking in the middle of them elegantly until she was in the center of the nearest intersection.
Everyone honked angrily at the intruding person as they slammed on the breaks. But this seemed to anger Marinette.
"That was rude..." She muttered with a tch.
"Hmm... We need to teach these people some manners! Go ahead and run rampant my pet! With every bite a new member will join your pack!" Marinette cast onto Lila.
In a tap of her staff to the ground and an evil smirk she was gone leaving the changed Lila to do as she had commanded.
Chat was in shock for a moment more before heading down to speak with those who were still awake.
"Chat Noir! Thank goodness you're here! Where's Ladybug?" Spoke up Alya crying.
"I honestly don't know... Do you happen to know what made Marinette go all...evil and deranged?" Asked Chat Noir gently.
"I know what it was..." Piped up Chloe hesitantly.
"What was it?"
"Four years ago, Nathaniel overheard Lila declare war on Marinette in a girl's restroom while passing by, he got distracted and passed it off as his imagination after a while. But..." Explained Chloe with a pause.
"But... the entire class except maybe myself, Adrien and Alya started to focus on more and spend more time with Lila Rossi and ignoring Marinette. Believing Lila's lies over and over again and even accusing Marinette of just being pettily jealous of Lila. It's been four years now... Something was bound to give out... I would've spoken up to Lila sooner but I thought Marinette had already done so... Unfortunately I was too late and Marinette had secluded herself from everyone, including Adrien. At times avoiding everyone like they are the plague..." Explained Chloe.
Alya and Nino broke down crying at that and so did Juleka...
"Well... no matter now... We have to save Marinette from herself..." Chat Noir said softly earning a nod from a determined Chloe.
"Yes, you do!" Spoke up a voice familiar to Chat Noir.
They looked down and Chat Noir gasped in shock.
"Master... What brings you here?!" Asked Chat Noir going down to the man with the others in tow.
"Unfortunately for this particular akuma Ladybug won't be any help..."
"Why not? She's the only one who can purify akumas and return everything back to normal!" Questioned Nino.
Fu sighed sadly.
"Unfortunately, she won't want to cleanse the akuma this time... Not without thorough convincing."
"Why not?" Questioned Nino and Adrien.
Fu sighed and hesitated before answering.
"Because Ladybug's civilian self is the one that got akumatized."
