{No POV}

Adrien watched with Sabine from inside after the woman stopped him from going outside.

"Marinette needs to face him, right now, until Ladybug, Chat Noir and the others can strike him down together."

"Are you sure she will be alright ma'am... I mean, I know Marinette is amazing and all but... Her father is akumatized..." Adrien asked awkwardly.

Sabine smiled and led him to the window from where they could see Weredad.

"We had Marinette train from when she was very little in things she could use for self-defense because we wanted her to be able to protect herself well... When he goes overboard Tom forgets that fact."

"Marinette took training?" Asked Adrien pretending to be shocked and confused.

"Yes, she's actually a certified black belt in mixed martial arts and she mastered gymnastics not to mention she is very up to date on her SING skills. She practices for two hours every single night. In the gym we set up for her in the spare bedroom." Answered Sabine making Adrien turn back to the view outside in shock.

Just in time to see the most unbelievable thing.

"I don't need to be protected papa! I can protect myself just fine! I have been capable of protecting myself just fine since I was 7 so just stop this Madness! Hawk Moth is using you! You know me! You know I can protect myself snap out of it!"

"I can protect you Marinette! I can at least now protect you from heart break!"

"I am not heart broken! I haven't been heart broken! I..." Retaliated Marinette pausing to build up courage.

"I was fantasizing on the roof about the guy I actually like and I had a collage of him on my roof so I was trying to distract Chat Noir so that he would leave before he could see the collage I made of my real crush! Chat loves Ladybug and I love someone else! Please papa! Stop this foolishness already!"

"Not until I can be sure that my little girl wont be hurt by anyone anymore!" Shouted Weredad.

Marinette facepalmed in annoyance getting into fighting position.

-With Hawk Moth-

"What are you doing Weredad! Get me the miraculouses! Stop arguing with your daughter!" Said Hawk Moth.

"STAY OUT OF IT HAWK MOTH!" He heard Weredad shout in annoyance and anger.

Suddenly he doubled over in pain.

'What in the hell?' Thought Hawk Moth.

-With Marinette-

"Fine.. Have it your way..." Said Marinette with a sigh.

Carapace went to protect Marinette only to be stopped by a serious looking Rena Rouge.

"No... She needs to do this... She can do this. Trust me." Said Rena quietly.

"O-okay... If you say so Rena." Said Carapace.

Marinette suddenly with strength and power they had never witnessed Marinette use before race forward and lunged landing a direct and powerful punch into Weredad's gut. Then she followed that with grabbing his arm and flipping him over her so the he landed on his back.

"I can protect myself!" Marinette said angrily as she held her fist at Weredad's face and rendered him immobilized.

Adrien smiled and asked Sabine if he could use the bathroom.

"Where did Tikki go?" Asked Adrien to Plagg as he noticed at last that Tikki was gone.

"She managed to find Ladybug nearby when we went to go inside the bakery and went discretely to Ladybug's side."

"Well as long as Ladybug will soon join the scene we best get out there." Adrien said with a smile.

"Plagg! Claws Out!" Called Adrien.

-With Marinette-

Marinette spied out her eyes Rena Rouge itching to take over and decided it be best.

"Rena Rouge! Carapace! Tag!" Said Marinette lunging to the side.

"Shell-ter!" Shouted Carapace using his ability to trap Weredad the second Marinette ran off of her dad.

As she left the scene Marinette smiled at the capabilities of her friend and went into the nearby alley to find Tikki waiting for her.

"What are you waiting for Marinette? We can talk later, Ladybug is needed!" Said Tikki with a smile and hug.

Marinette smiled and laughed a bit.

"I needed to drop the flower on an easy to access spot on Weredad for when I rush in as Ladybug." Said Marinette as she dusted off her hands with a smile.

"Tikki, Spots on!" Said Marinette transforming into Ladybug.

Soon as she was transformed she yoyoed into the fight with a kick grabbing the flower as she made contact thanks to her gymnastics skills.

"It isn't nice to cage up your child!" She said with a smile showing the rose freezing everyone in their tracks including Chat Noir.

"No more evil doing for you little akuma." Said Ladybug breaking the rose.

The butterfly flew out and tried to fly away but Ladybug caught it and purified it.

"Goodbye little butterfly!" Ladybug said to the purified butterfly.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" She called throwing the yoyo into the air.

Then everything was back to normal moments later.

Ladybug then turned to Chat Noir, Rena Rouge and Carapace.

"I am so sorry that I wasn't here sooner but I ended up stuck in a situation where I couldn't trnasform since my kwami was separated from me. But Chat Noir helped me by helping my kwami get close enough to me that she could return to my side. Thank you so much for taking care of the Akuma while I and Chat Noir got here." Said Ladybug.

Chat Noir was surprised but played a long.

Rena Rouge smiled and so did Carapace.

"It's cool Ladybug, Chat Noir... We understand, besides, Marinette Dupain-Cheng did most of the work. She freed herself somehow and brought down Weredad long enough for us to take him by surprise and keep him trapped." Answered Rena Rouge.

Thank you now let's all go before you transform back.

"You two should go with Chat Noir. I will go and help Mr. Dupain back into his home, he seems to be physically hurt from the fight and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng seems to be having a hard time helping him. I have more time before I transform back any way." Said Ladybug with a smile.

"Will do Ladybug! See you next time!" Said the fox and turtle miraculous holders.

"See you next time M'lady." Said Chat Noir with a hug.

◇Later◇

-With Adrien-

"Something doesn't add up Plagg, how could Ladybug have known to say pretty much exactly what I had told Marinette and the other heroes as an excuse for my abscene when I never told her?"

Plagg harshly held himself back from snapping in annoyance and from facepalming at his chosen's obliviousness.

'Tikki must have filled her in on what you told Rena Rouge and Carapace so that you two's story added up for this one. It's common sense." Plagg lied despite wanting very badly to reveal the truth to Adrien.

"I don't think that's right Plagg, sha said pretty much the exact same thing I told Marinette, Alya and Nino... But i suppose I have bigger things to think about." Said Adrien shocking Plagg momentarily.

"Oh yeah? What do you need to think about that is bigger than that?"

"Well, earlier today when I was watching Marinette fight Weredad, I noticed some of her attacks she used were eerily familiar to me." Said Adrien pensively.

Plagg tried really hard once more to not explode.

"Well you heard Marinette's mother, the girl took mma classes and gymnastics, and you have been watching a lot of mma movies and animes recently. I think you might just be over thinking all this." Plagg said eating some cheese at the end to shut himself up.

Adrien then came out of his bathroom in his pajamas at that with a sigh.

"You're probably right and i'm just over thinking things... We should get some sleep, particularly me since tomorrow I have school." Adrien said with a yawn as he curled up in bed.

Plagg joined him and laid down on the specially designated pillow that Adrien had designated as 'Plagg's Pillow'. Once ready for sleep, Plagg sighed sadly after confirming his chosen was soundly asleep.

"Kid, you still have quite a bit to go through and figure out before you can figure things out... I just hope you realize your feelings more quickly after everything today..." Plagg spoke to himself as quietly as possible.

Then he remembered once more Tikki's warning and decided it would be best if he slept now.

Which he promptly did.
