Bridgette held back a sigh as Jackson kept annoying her.
"You could've spared that spoiled rich boy if you had just gotten back together with me to begin with."
The lawyer groaned and looked almost as Miserable as Bridgette felt.
Almost.
"For the last time, Jackson! Shut the hell up!" Bridgette said annoyedly.
Jackson went to speak again and this time Bridgette cut him off with a quick verse of song.
"I'm over you and I don't need your lies no more
'Cause the truth is without you, boy, I'm stronger
And I know, you said that I changed with my cold heart
But it was your game that left scars
Ooh, I'm over you"
Jackson was left floored and the lawyer and Lieutenant Roger were amused and gestured her to sing some more.
Bridgette happily obliged still glaring death at Jackson.
"'Cause I'm here looking fine, babe
And I got eyes looking my way
And everybody's on my vibe, babe
Na, na, na, na, don't call me up
My friends said you were a bad man
I should have listened to them back then
And now you're tryna hit me up again
Na, na, na, na"
The lieutenant and lawyer laughed as Jackson grumbled but shut up. The Lieutenant then entered the cell, handcuffed her, and led both Bridgette and the lawyer to an interrogation room. Once seated the lawyer did his thing.
"My client has nothing to hide, and has therefore agreed to cooperate but let it be known for the record that she will not stand for being blindly accused of anything that she has not done and will therefore stop cooperating should such a thing happen and keep her silence."
Roger agreed, "Look, Bridgette, I have heard only good things about you from my daughter Sabrina and various of my collegues. If it were up to me I wouldn't be the one interrogating you. But we still need your side of the story for the case against Jackson and we need to know everything you know about Felix's kidnapping."
Bridgette looked at him calmly, "I've been trying to help, Lieutenant Roger. But the police has not been making it easy for me. I don't know much about the people who kidnapped Felix. I only know what Felix told me about the people that were chasing after him and their connection to the murders of his parents. I know that Jackson helped those bastards get their hands on Felix, my boyfriend. My boyfriend that I love. But outside of that I don't know anything else, I never even wanted to do that damned interview, I wanted to spend the day with Felix playing video games with him and each of us relaxing working on my music and him on his family business. Or even just our daily training regiment. But the damn paparazzi started a bad rumor about me and I needed to deal with it. Never got to in the end as you can see."
Roger looked at her tensely, "So you didn't have any interest in his money due to yours being missing?"
Bridgette glowered and stopped the lawyer from intervening just this once.
"Look, Lieutenant, if I may be frank with you?" She began pausing to get his feedback, he nodded and she continued, "Even if I had known my money was all gone from my accounts, which I didn't until shortly before you went to get my testimony and interrogate me the first time at the Agreste Mansion with everyone else, I still wouldn't have cared about the damn money at all. I no longer go to Angelwood, and I live with a loving family comprised of the best Bakers in Paris and a so far very successful aspiring fashion designer. I go to school with said Fashion Designer at Francois Dupont under a full ride VPA scholarship much like my cousin does. I am well taken care of and have never wanted for a single material thing in my short life, not even now. Felix's could have not even a penny to his name and I still would love him like I love him now. His heart is what won my heart, nothing else. He could have been hideous, homeless, bankrupt and any other problem considered unattractive and I would still love him as much as I do now. His Uncle and I even had a fall out when we first met because the man had the audacity to outright insinuate that I was a gold digger, and I had just proved to him at the time that I was capable of protecting that lovable grouch. I immediately walked off taking my cousin with me then and and there after clarifying for him that I could care less about money or material things and outright explaining that I would not protect someone who was part of a family that would insinuate me and my family to be scummy gold-diggers. Besides, I would never ask Felix for money or look at his money because I can always make more. I'm a successful musician and I make plenty of money just from writing music for TFA."
Roger nodded in understanding, "So if you didn't care about the money, then why is it that precisely three months ago your accounts are drained of money and then today Felix Graham De Vanily is kidnapped?"
Bridgette rolled her eyes ignoring the hidden accusation for the sake of avoiding a headache, "Why do you think? Who else would make a better scapegoat in his kidnapping than his very own girlfriend? Especially if said girlfriend looses all her money months before the kidnapping and after the kidnapping a note is found asking for the entirety of the Graham De Vanily fortune? I made an easy scapegoat for them. But the fact that everyone seems to have overlooked about my suspectability is my damned age. I'm barely 16 as of a month ago. I may be emancipated in the eyes of the Parisian Government as of when I turned 14. But the only minimum age at which you can purchase or even rent a property in Paris is 17. No exceptions. An age i'm still a year away from. I could never hide Felix away seeing as I have no means of actually getting my hands on a property isolated enough to be able to hold someone captive in."
Roger and the officers listening from behind the one way window gasped as they realized that Bridgette was right.
"Another thing," Bridgette pressed onwards, "While my physical prowess is amazing, it's not limitless. According to the security team that scouted Paris for any threats outside of akumas before I came here, the closest abandoned building to the Agreste Mansion is precisely 20 miles from the mansion and 15 from the Bakery. Even if I had gone to the bakery with a captive Felix, which I wouldn't because my uncle and aunt would have been there and quite clearly have turned me in for doing something so deplorable, I still would have been a good 10 miles farther than I can actually run with a healthy teenage boy in my arms. Not to mention the paths there would all take me at one point or another through the main streets of Paris where anyone could've seen me and reported me for kidnapping."
The officers and lawyers were astounded as Bridgette quite clearly poked several holes in the logic of having arrested her for kidnapping Felix.
"Lastly," She continued after they processed, "I am too big of an attention magnet. Even if I had kidnapped Felix which as I have likely already explained is impossible, had anyone seen me exiting the mansion through a window which is the only way the kidnappers could have escaped and entered the mansion without detection, they would have quickly posted pictures online about my actions of going into a rich boy's bedroom and then leaving it with him bound. Which is what any kidnapper does to their target to avoid difficulties according to my favorite TV Crime Show from America that was based around an FBI Agent and a Forensic Anthropologist that worked together."

Everyone was shaken by the new information.
While Bridgette simply waited patiently for them to collect themselves.
Felix please be safe...
Gabriel Agreste and Marinette Dupain-Cheng paced back and forth as the almost complete strangers worked separately on finding Felix.
One at a computer set up and the other two readying weapons and gear when the doors of the mansion opened revealing Bridgette and surprisingly enough the lawyer and Roger.
"Bridgette!" They all called happily.
Bridgette smiled happily, "I'm back!"
After a brief happy reprieve Bridgette approached the man on the tech set up with a determined look.
"Alright, Mason, what do you have so far?" Bridgette asked.
"I've narrowed it down to four possible locations in which he could be held in without detection along the way. But from there it's near impossible to narrow it further." Mason grumbled as he showed her his progress.
Upon seeing the locations he had narrowed it down to, she took in the map with a very careful gaze and then saw Adrien talking on the phone with someone and got an idea.
"Cross reference those four locations with the map of the wifi towers in Paris." Bridgette instructed.
Seeing the glint in her eyes, Mason nodded and quickly did as asked.
"Only two locations line up with towers." Mason declared causing for Adrien, Marinette, Adrien, and Nathalie to join the two.
Bridgette smirk, "We've got them!"
The others looked at her in confusion while Mason looked to see what she meant only to smile. Bridgette smirked at everyone else around her.
"Which one is closest to a wifi tower and the Agreste Mansion?" Bridgette asked.
"The old brewery at the edge of town between Paris and Saint-Quen! Of course!" Mason revealed excitedly.
Bridgette smiled.
"But why there?" Roger asked.
Bridgette smirked, "The people who kidnap other people will always want to be able to stay in the loop of what's going on in the outside world and will always want to show off their progress to their captive if need be. Those bastards think they got away with having a famous celebrity take the wrap for their actions! If there was ever anything they would love to show off to their captive, especially the boyfriend of said celebrity, it would be that." Bridgette said before walking over to Winston and Peter.
Bridgette smirked coldly, "Let's get ready and go get those bastards while we still have the element of surprise."
She quickly accepted protective gear and weapons she skillfully put away on her person snuggly. Gabriel and Nathalie gulped as they got into their own gear. When Bridgette returned from getting ready in the bathroom, she turned to Marinette and Adrien.
"I need you two to help get a message to Ladybug that their help will be needed in rescuing Felix. A little super-help would be very welcomed even if we have a guaranteed backup from the police due to Roger coming with us." Bridgette asked of them.
Marinette and Adrien nodded and quickly split off to go try to get a message out discretely.
Bridgette contained a smile and turned her attention back to everyone else who was ready and the two managed to get into a van with Sabine and Tom distracting the press by heading home.
In the car Mason looked at her with a pleasantly surprised smile, "So... Felix Graham De Vanily? Must be one hell of a guy to get close to your heart."
Bridgette scoffed in amusement, "He's a bit of an asshole to most people at first, but he's amazing once you actually get past that. He's a gentleman, cares genuinely when he does care about someone, and he trusts and respects me. He tries to get me expensive things and take me on expensive dates, even when I tell him no, which is a tiny bit annoying. But he shows me everything I need in his actions towards me, even the annoying expensive gifts and dates he offers me. And in bed? He gives me more than I could ever want just as he does out of bed. He's seen me at my worst moments in this last four months and he hasn't acted any different towards me at all." Bridgette answered happily.
Mason and the guys laughed in pleasant surprise, "He sounds like a real charmer."
Bridgette laughed lightly, "I'd say he is."
Felix, I'm coming for you... Hang in there.
Felix masked his surprise expertly as he dodged a flurry of punches from one of his three strong captors for having tried to escape. Eventually the man tired and left the cage with only a kick to Felix's shin.
'I'm coming' Felix almost heard the wind say in Bridgette's voice.
'Please Hurry' Felix thought to himself mentally as he, finally alone, fell to the floor tiredly.
