Pike. This was the main island and the territory of the Greyjoy house… and also a place currently undergoing a siege by five of the other kingdoms.

Balon Greyjoy, the lord Reaper and asshole extraordinaire who commanded this place has had the brilliant idea of attacking all the other kingdoms at once to be able to proclaim his independence from the Iron Throne. A stupid move seeing as this would just make all the kingdoms band together against them at the same time.

He was advised many times by others about the foolishness of his grand scheme, but the man was as proud as he was stupid so those words went on deaf ears.

Sad man was now sitting on his throne with an irritated expression.

"You useless pieces of shit. Do you even dare call yourselves Ironborn?!" The man shouted in fury at the face of his kneeling subordinates. "You failed to defeat that stupid man Stannis at sea, AT SEA! Now, they come into my lands and you all are too incompetent to even kill every last one of the invaders!"

The lords and captains felt irritated at this. Neither was truly their fault, the fight against Stannis was a fight of three to one with them with the lesser numbers and being caught in an ambush since the Iron Fleet was sent out to raid the coast of Westeros and their movements were naturally slower and easier to see through.

As for not killing all the invaders, this was a fight with the enemy having the numbers superiority of eight or nine times over, with better equipment and fighting in their preferred battle ground.

They all knew that rebelling alone out of the blue like that was never gonna be a good option, but what else could they do when their leader proclaimed it as such?

"Hah, brother I see the weight of your crown did not make you any stupider." A man said, entering the hall with a sway to his feet as if everything and everyone around him was little more than a joke.

Balon's angry eyes turned to him and said venomously.

"What is it, Euron? Have you not failed me enough times already?"

Euron Greyjoy, the youngest of the Greyjoy siblings, touched his heart as if he actually felt pained there.

"You wounded me brother. And here I came to just ask you for a tiny boon."

"Denied." Balon said, not even bothering to listen whatsoever.

Euron showed no surprise though, and just shrugged.

"Well, good thing I never cared about your approval for this. I just felt like giving you a warning of what I will do next."

Balon, hearing this, narrowed his eyes.

"What is it you intend on doing?"

Balon had absolutely no trust in Euron. If anything, he was half expecting the man to take out a sword and kill him before using his still blood head as a cup of wine, then fuck it.

That was how messed up Euron was.

"Oh, nothing much. I am just going to go execute the captured thralls from my latest raid on a ritual. Got a fascinating book about summoning devils, you see. Wondering if you would like to come along and check out with me, it will be a good family bonding experience."

Balon just looked at Euron with an incredulous expression as he said.

"You want to sacrifice dozens of thralls for some sick ritual that will get us nothing? When our enemy is right in front of us and will start their attack any moment now?!" Balon said, and Euron simply nodded with a smile.

"Sure, why not? It sounds like fun."

Balon could not comprehend what passed inside Euron's head, but ultimately decided to play along to an extent.

"Very well, do your ritual but after that you will be the one standing at the very top of the walls." Balon said, no longer wanting to deal with Euron's stupidity.

The man was always so weird, loving to talk and study useless things that don't exist, like magic and whatnot. All useless, Balon's only reason for not yet having had him killed was because he might still have some sort of usefulness, mostly as a fighter and captain as well as as a sacrificial pawn when needed.

After all, if Euron were to die no one would shed a tear over it, the man's actions have seen to that.

As for Euron, he went ahead to his wing of the castle. Only his own servants go there since they were the only ones allowed… and because everyone who steps in here and is not family or allowed has either their eyes or tongue removed before being forced to eat them raw.

If Euron was feeling merciful, he'd burn it to a crisp before feeding them it though, maybe give them some ale to help gulp it all down. He was a very merciful guy, just ask his mute slaves.

Entering a chamber on the highest point he owned, Euron smiled at the seventy two thralls he had prepared. The place was very full, but he had no other place more spacious for this so he just tied the thralls up nice and well before letting them lay flat on the floor one on top of the others. The children and babies at the very top, he could not risk having them die by being crushed after all.

"Let me see, let me see, don't want to mess up the ritual." Euron said with a smirk as he paced about around the room, checking to make sure that all sacrifices were still hanging onto life properly and that the circle was correct.

Seeing that it was all in the right places, he proceeded to take out some powder and begin to throw it over the top of the pile.

"Ashes of saint man and dust from dragon bone, not sure how sacred the bodies of those Septons and Septas are, but it should work… Meh, if it doesn't at least the end result will not have me cleaning the mess." Euron said before laughing loudly, causing all those present to shiver even more in fear.

Those expressions made the man's prick go hard, suffering and despair always being a major turn on for him.

"Now, the last touches to make everything just right for the ritual." Euron said before moving to the side and pulling out someone. It was a young girl, just around 4 or 5 years old with long black hair and deep blue eyes. "Blood of a king, always a nice add on."

He then proceeded to take out a knife and, with no hesitation even as the girl struggled and tried to run, cut open her neck. Her blood flowed out as he threw her on top of it all and started to chant.

To be honest, Euron had no clue just what he was speaking, only knowing that a being would answer the call and come to grant the caster's wish, providing knowledge unlike anything this world had. The book was something he got from a Qarth's Warlock he captured as a thrall. It had all sorts of interesting magics and even mentions that this was likely how the Valyrians obtained the magic to tame dragons which allowed them to reach the heights they did.

Many would assume this was Euron's way of helping his people to reach a brighter future, but he not once ever considered such a thing. He wanted more knowledge and magic because he wanted to fulfill the 'prophecy' he saw in a dream in the past.

To become a God in his own right! Nay, to shed away his useless flesh sac he had and return to being the Drowned God.

This was very much stupidity and nonsense, but the man did not once care for that and even now he had little to no hope this would work. As suck, imagine his surprise when the magic circle actually started to shine too.

The people in the circle screamed loudly in pain as their blood, flesh, and bones began to be stripped away from them as it was all concentrated on a point above.

Euron felt his heart palpitating in excitement as he chanted more and more loudly.

The tower shook at this moment, a weird energy shockwave spreading in all directions, altering the world forever, and Euron stood there and stared as a being stood in the middle of the magic circle.

Long black hair, blood red, almost crimson, eyes, sculptured features more regal than anyone Euron has seen… and a kid.

He looked 11 or 12 at most in terms of age.

"Shit, I summoned a brat." Euron said and said 'Brat' looked at him with a hint of disdain.

"So, you were the one that summoned me?"

Thinking for a bit, Euron realized that maybe, just maybe, this being's physical age and mental age are different. It would make sense since he had no idea what this being, whatever it might be, was likely not human.

"Yes, my name is Euron Greyjoy and I am your master!" Euron said, filled with confidence. "And what are you, boy?"

"Me?" With that, long raven black wings sprung from the boy's back. Magic emanating from him being something Euron felt completely and utterly crushed anything he has ever experienced in this world. "I am a fallen angel. You may call me Claude."

Euron smirked and wanted to say more, but guards stormed into the bloody room.

"Lord Euron, the enemy has started to move."

The man, hearing this, showed a brutal smile and said.

"Claude, kill them. Show me the legendary power!"

Claude, for his part, just looked at him as if he was dumb before he felt the effects of the summoning ritual working. He had to obey and 'kill them', and so he did… by killing the two guards that had come for Euron by creating a light spread and throwing it at them.

The first could not even realize what was going on and the second tried to block it, only to end up with his sword being pierced through and killed right after.

The Greyjoy nobleman stood there in shock, not understanding what was going on.

"You really are not the smartest, huh."

Euron, thinking back to his precise words, realized what had happened. He could give one absolute order, and Claude had followed it through to the letter.

'Kill them.'

This was the order, but Euron did not mention who exactly the 'them' were or how many or even precisely who he was to kill. By not being specific, Claude was free to act now since he fulfilled his side of the seal for the summoning.

"W-Wait, if you kill me then you will be sent back to where you came from." Euron said as he backed off, trying to find something he could use to fight back.

Claude, for his part, felt near instinctively that the man was not lying. He couldn't help but 'tch' as he felt this unexpected limitation, figuring that this was what the drawback meant.

Going towards the window, Claude saw how the fighting on the walls was going.

"It should take another half an hour before the enemy can arrive here." Claude muttered as he saw that the enemy army was still bombarding the walls with large boulders.

Euron, for his part, began to move, trying to run away, but Claude would have none of that as he conjured a light spear.

SLASH

The legs of Euron were cut then and there. The man falling onto the ground in pain and as he was about to shout-

"Silence."

A simple black magic spell, Euron felt a weird sensation on his body and when he tried to shout, to call for the guards, it did not work at all. Even as he tried to hit the floor, no sound was produced.

The spell would not last forever though, so Claude began to think about what he should do. He lacked any teleportation magic or anything that could just transport him away. He tried using his wings to fly a bit, but even in just a room he did not feel confident in his ability to fly.

He could not challenge an army either, nor could he risk staying around since Euron was all but guaranteed to be executed and if this trash dies then who knows what would happen to Claude.

Feeling the headache, Euron decided to risk it and do something most would consider stupid.

First, he casted a simple 'Heal' in Euron to make sure he would not die from blood loss, even if he had already lost a good amount of blood by now. This should make the bastard less of an annoyance.

Second, he cut off the man's arms before doing much the same, healing him again. With no arms or legs, he should no longer be a threat.

"Oh, right. Can't have you biting your tongue and killing yourself." Claude said before he conjured a light spear and cut off Euron's tongue.

Probably excessive, true, but this piece of shit of a man took pleasure in torture and murder of hundreds of innocents, seeing the thought of decimating entire cities as a form or foreplay. For scum like this, there was never any need to 'play nice'.

Feeling that he was as secure on the 'Euron' front as he could get, Claude pulled him along and went towards the window. Only, instead of looking down Claude looked up and saw that they were only two floors from the top.

Thankfully, most any guard that could be around was already on the walls to try and stop the royal army. As such, it was very simple to manage to get to the rooftop of the tower.

"Good, this should be a good enough place." Claude said before he took a deep breath and, from underneath him, a summoning circle began to appear.

This was one of the 'things' he obtained before arrival. Part of the deal, so to say.

One of the three companions he selected, and as the circle's power drained from inside him he nearly tripped on his feet as he did his best to stay standing. It was not easy at all, but finally the circle was completed and activated.

At first, nothing happened. Then, one claw, then another, two large wings, a long neck, and finally.

Blue. The whole creature looks like a giant sapphire, such was the color of its scales and eyes. Its beauty was magnificent to an incredible extent, and as it surged the entire battlefield seemed to silence. Even those most distant no longer shouting or moving as Clause carried with him the still barely alive Euron and said.

"Saphira, please carry this one as well. We need him alive." Claude asked to which he received a nod.

"Simple, where are we going though? I am a bit hungry."

"Let's just travel to an island nearby. We will need to set up a proper location and we should not be hasty about this." Claude said and Saphira nodded her head, agreeing to this.

They do not know these lands all that well, her rider having just been summoned and she herself after just like that. In her head she remembers being with her Rider until not too long ago, then this happened. They had to thread carefully at least until they were more sure of what was going on.

Stepping onto Saphire's back, Claude looked at Euron that was grabbed so easily by Saphire's hand and smirked.

"Hope you enjoy seeing things from up above."

And so, with most lords of the seven kingdoms staring in disbelief, the first dragon in over a hundred years flew by them as they could only stand there in shock and disbelief. The game has changed, and much, much more than they could imagine right now.

In Volantis at the same time, shouts and screams could be heard all over. That was due to all the priests that were watching the flames just now seeing the exact same thing. A vision of an angel with dark wings appearing far away on a land of death and the depraved, flying with the help of the strongest and most pure fire ever seen on these lands over the armies of blasphemers who do not bow down to the glory of R'hllor. Normally such a thing would be seen as a terrible omen, but to all the priests this was anything BUT that.

Moqorro, one of the highest ranking priests in the Temple of the Lord of Light approached a woman who was still staring fixedly at the pyres.

"... So, it has come." Moqorro says and the woman, Melissandre, nods her head.

"Yes, Azor Ahai has descended to face the Great Other and bring prosperity to this world." Melissandre said with reverence and Moqorro nodded his head.

He remembers and knows by heart the prophecies. Azor Ahai shall come from lands they know not, appearing amongst salt and smoke while bringing dragons back into the world. He shall build a true utopia like none this world has ever seen, defeat the Great Other once and for all, and make the world as a whole evolve several times over.

Still, Moqorro had to point out something.

"From the visions, it seems Azor Ahai is in the Iron Islands in Westeros. This will be complicated since the Westerosi do not comprehend his importance and might decide to try and attack or kill him."

Melissandre, hearing this, did not speak. On one hand, she thought it ridiculous that mere mortals might dare to even think of doing such a thing to the one being that shall rid the world of the enemy of all the living, but on the other hand she hated them to her very essence at the mere thought of such.

"Should we try and throw a purge against them?"

Moqorro sighed upon hearing those words.

"Melisandre, we should not joke around at a time like this."

"... Very well, just kill the king, his children, and the lords. That should give them a good lesson." Melissandre said to which Moqorro sighed, deciding to ignore her for now.

Instead, he turned to the fire and asked.

"Will you go to him?"

"Yes." Melisandre said with no delays or hesitation.

The priest nods, unsurprised by her decision. If anything he was mostly certain that this would happen since there was no way Melisandre would not do precisely that. She was probably the most fanatical of all the priests and priestesses, and that was coming from a man who tattooed fire images on his face with no hesitation.

"Well, if you want to go I would advise you to move soon. Benerro does not seem overly excited about what has happened since many priests seem to want to abandon the temple to go to Azor Ahai before we can even make sure of the situation."

Melisandre nodded her head and muttered.

"A foolish man to the end. Regardless of his desires and wants, I will be going to Azor Ahai and be by his side. I will dedicate my whole being to him, no matter what." Melisandre said with clear fanatical devotion.

Moqorro nodded, he would have liked to go as well but decided to stay here for the moment. It has only been a few hours since the incident happened and things were already turning chaotic, Moqorro felt he should stay to help keep the peace and make sure their religion did not implode on itself because of that fool of a man Benerro.
