In a far away land in Greece, there lived a special young girl who was born by a young couple and became a big sister to a young boy who has incredible strength. She was born thanks to the blessing of the gods. Her name is Evangeline.
She has a special gift from the goddesses. That gift is not like any other. She has two of them. One is that she tells great stories and the other is that she can talk to any type of animal. Athena, Artemis and Aphrodite gave her those two gifts.
She and Hercules get along very well. They are like peas in a pod. They did everything together. Never seen a sibling more and love. She stood up to Hercules in case someone bullies him. She even heard about his strength from her parents.
One day Evangeline was with her brother and father and the family donkey to the marketplace. Her brother was pushing the cart really fast. Evangeline braced herself and she said, "Hercules can you slow down please?" The father agreed with her.
He then saw some men on top and he said to look out, but Hercules didn't see that till it was too late.
They made it to the market place and Evangeline then said, "That is a close call. Hercules you should listen to what Father was telling about slowing down." Hercules looked at her and said, "Sorry Evangeline." The father called Amphitryon said, "Thanks son. When old Penelope twisted her ankle back there, I thought we were done for." Evangeline then said, "Penelope is very lucky that it's not a broken ankle."
Hercules then said, "No problem Pop." He lifted a big hay stack and Amphitryon then said, "Uh -don't - don't- don't unload just yet. First I have to finagle with Phideas." Evangeline then said, "Yeah brother, you know what they say, 'First things first.' Hercules then said ok and he put the hay back, but it also made Penelope go high in the air.
Evangeline was shocked and she said, "Penelope!" She then did a small glare at him. Hercules then said, "Whoops, sorry Penelope. Sorry about that Evangeline." Amphitryon then said, "Now Hercules, this time please just…" Hercules finished for him by saying, "I know I know. Stay by the cart." He caught Penelope who fell and put her back in the cart.
Amphirtyon then said, "That's my boy."
Then he came to his daughter and said, "Make sure that Hercules doesn't cause any trouble dear daughter." Evangeline said with a smile, "Yes Papa, I'll make sure he's careful." Penelope rolled her eyes and that caused Evangeline to say, "Don't roll your eyes at me girl."
The donkey blushed of embarrassment. Evangeline then giggled and sighed.
